This will only work with Simpe 0.52 and up. You can use this inplace of manually opening each package, finding the instance in the NameMap and using it in the filter.

Click on the Finder tab. Select “In Namemaps” from the Find: drop down. Select “Contains” or “Begins With” in the “Match:” drop down box. Paste in the text you copied in step 3. For example “cfbodydressformal”. Click Start Button.http://thumbs.modthesims2.com/getimage.php?file=210257
You will be extracting four files. The GMDC from the Sims03.package, the GMND from the Sims04.package, the SHPE from the Sims05.package, the CRES from the Sims06.package.
Extract the GMDC: In the finder Results box, scroll down to the Sims03.package section. Look for a row that says Geometric Data Container: cfBodyDressFormal_tslocator_gmdc. (for our example) (You never want the LOD15 version). Double click the resourcename. This will open the Sims03.package. Once the package is loaded, double click the resourcename again. This will highlight the selected file, and scroll the list so that it is visible. Right-Click and Extract to your new folder.http://thumbs.modthesims2.com/getimage.php?file=210258
Extract the GMND: In the finder Results box, scroll down to the Sims04.package section. Look for a row that says Geometric Data Container: cfBodyDressFormal_tslocator_gmdc. (for our example) (You never want the LOD15 version). Double click the resourcename. This will open the Sims04.package. Once the package is loaded, double click the resourcename again. This will highlight the selected file, and scroll the list so that it is visible. Right-Click and Extract to your new folder.
Extract the SHPE: In the finder Results box, scroll down to the Sims05.package section. Look for a row that says Geometric Data Container: cfBodyDressFormal_untagged0_shpe. (for our example) (You never want the LOD15 version). Double click the resourcename. This will open the Sims05.package. Once the package is loaded, double click the resourcename again. This will highlight the selected file, and scroll the list so that it is visible. Right-Click and Extract to your new folder.
Extract the CRES: In the finder Results box, scroll down to the Sims06.package section. Look for a row that says Geometric Data Container: cfBodyDressFormal_cres. (for our example) (You never want the LOD15 version). Double click the resourcename. This will open the Sims06.package. Once the package is loaded, double click the resourcename again. This will highlight the selected file, and scroll the list so that it is visible. Right-Click and Extract to your new folder.
