No Character information in SimPE

Somewhere along the line i made a mistake :banghead: and now Don Lothario has no character information..Which is odd because I don't think I edited anything but doing sim surgery.. I would ask the SimPE board but I can't seem to log in..

Well basically, I have a back up, but it's about 15 minutes too late..I made a whole bunch of changes that i'd rather not erase and I was going to back up this morning, but I can't enter don's Lot..He's just blank like he's not there anymore.

So like I said in SimPE he has "no character information" and he is greyed out.

If possiable, i could replace him with one from the backup couldn't i? Is it as easy as just finding his character file and just dragging him over the one that no longer works? If so..where do I look for him, what character file or files am I looking to replace?

Is there an easier way to get him to work again? I have no idea what I did haha..

Yea I found him as 00011 and tried to just copy over it with the backup file of him..But i figured there was more than just that one file that I needed...and was so very lazy..So I just made a new one lol, I'll just put in his memories later with simpe..

That wasn't the file you needed to change. I was just making sure it was his character file. You could have just relinked it to his sim description. But its too late for that.
