Cannot install latest Maxis Patch for OfB

I've been trying to install the latest OfB patch ever since it came out and every time it gave me the same error.

Have you marked the objects.package as read only? Any other game files marked as read only?
That usually causes problems.

Well...I just uninstalled and reinstalled OfB all over again and this seemed to fix the problem. But thank you for the help, gwillewyn! :D

This happens if you have in any way modified any of the game scripts- for example, installing a lighting mod, custom walls/ fireplaces/ foundations scripts, camera mods etc., or the objects.package status as Gwillewyn noted. You'd have to restore all of the scripts- reinstalling the EPs as you did is most likely the quickest solution!
