Vampire skin doesn't change back to normal

Okay, I've looked at the FAQ and the Solution Center and some guides at GameFAQs as well, but couldn't find any help.
My Sim became a vampire, everything was fine but then I changed her back to normal with that potion thingy her skin still remained a vampire skin and her eyes are still red, too.
I'm not sure but I think it's because my Sim used a downloaded skin and eyes.
What I want to know is: Is there any way I can change my Sims's skin and eyes ingame?
I'm terribly sorry if this has already been answered or is common knowledge. I hope you can help me, thanks in advance. :)

You can try to make him/her a vampire again and than use they potion again. This usually helps.

I have seen this problem a few times before. It seem to be a bug in Pets. You sim is a vampire before you install Pets, after you install Pets you give him/her the potion and it doesn't work. However, if you make them a vampire again and than give them the potion again, it usually works.

Yes, I have Nightlife and Pets, too. I got them for Christmas and forgot to change it in my profile. ^^
Anyway, I'll try to make her a vampire and give her the potion again. Thanks for your help.
