Today, I tried to make a tablelamp, there are three tablelamp meshes, the bulb, the base and the part that cover the bulb (I have no idea about this word in english  ) I made this objects with splines and then "lathe" and then when I tried to import to simpe, it said : object reference not set to an instance ...) in order to find the problem I tried importing deleting the "lathe" mesh and It worked, so I thought the problem was its vertexs, my question is: is there any solution to that?
Thankyou ;)

When the problem is in number of vertices, it looks differently - as far as I remember, Import dialog appears and subset with too many vertices is highlighted with red color. Maybe something with your mesh? Try to apply STL Check modifier to it - does it shows any errors?
I never had problems with meshes created via spline + lathe. However:
a) my splines always consisted of vertices of Corner type - not sure if all goes smooth with Bezier vertices
b) I check 'Weld core' in Lathe options - do you? if not, it creates duplicate vertices at 0 and 360 degrees, and with Cap Start/End checked, it is noticeable by weird smoothing
c) I always convert result to EditablePoly or EditableMesh before export - I suppose you did it too, but better to check :)

I don't know what's that
I did another lathe to another spline, and I checked <weld core> and It worked :)
