Sims 2 seasons crashing

I have been having some trouble with my sims 2 seasons. The game just keeps randomly crashing at various times in the game. It just jams and i have to re-start my computer because I cannot do anything. I have disabled all my custom content and i am still having the same problem. Its really frustrating me because i dont have chance to save my game because i dont know when it is going to crash!

You know that link isn't much help when it says to back up and nothing more, right? Perhaps it's been edited and all info removed?

Have you tried clicking on the "back up" text? No? Try it! Youo might learn something :)

Ok, I'll go read how to backup. But the way it read and since I know how to backup....?

EDIT: I see. Step by step progression by the link. But, yes, knew the steps, been there, done that.... Thanks tho!

I know your pain, but my sims 2 only crashed if I download things from this site. So I cannot add things to my game from the net.
I have no idea why.
