How do i recolor custom content?

How do I recolor custom content with simspe? I cant figure it out. I can do maxis objects but I want to do custom ones. Thanks for your time.

If you know how to recolor maxis content,
you're 95% there.
Instead of clicking 'Start' in SimPe choose 'Open',
then find the file you want to recolor.
The rest is the same then doing a maxis recolor.
