I would like an EP similar to Superstar.
-Social status becomes a part of the game.
-Most sims are nobodies but the talented ones gain a celebrity ranking system, showing how famous they are.
-Famous sims can pull off public stunts to achieve a higher celebrity rank.
-Sims can be artists, musicians, film/tv stars, authors, sport stars, heroes or just well known rich sims.
-Sims can go to "Fame Town" (or whatever it was called) and record music, film and TV.
-Normal sims can write articles for the local paper and then check if they got in and recieve money doing this. Eventually, they could get famous by writing a really good article.
-Sims who are extremely rich can become instantly famous and donate to charities to improve their image.

Ok, thats all the ideas I have at the moment.

-RECIPES!!!! LOL I really want my sims' food to become more realistic. I want the system from the console games where they had the recipe system and you could mix and match foods to create your own meal. That would be awesome in TS2!

I would like an EP where your sims have sea life lol it would be funny to see sharks and the Loch Ness Monster in your pond :P alligators, Giant Squid, Jelly Fish, Dolphins and have the sims hold onto their fins and swim with them and the Mystical Creature is a mermaid and if you get touched by the mermaid you become a "Sea Sim" when you become a "Sea Sim" You can talk to the sea life breathe under water your sims would have fins and their skin would be really blue and they'd have purple eyes.Whenever your sim goes into the pool or pond they turn into a sea sim it only happens when they go into water and when they come out of the water they stay like that for 5 sim hours. lol Thats my idea I have a weird mind.

They should join up with the makers of Cooking Mama for the next EP so that they have the same sort of feel while the Sims are cooking. Also, it'd be cool for there to be stuff like laundry and the option to change what the sims are wearing popping up daily and other stuff like that. My two Ep wishes are as follows.....

The Sims 2: Cruisin'

Cruiseships these days are friggin insane....because it would contain,
1. Hotel Rooms, of course, with keys, private baths and a deck.
2. Main restaurant as well as little snack kiosks and room service
3. Dance clubs/bars/nightclub
4. Pool, hot tub, and not only a diving board and slide, but even a waterslide. Spa with sauna, massage, manicure, pedicure, facial, mud baths, and seaweed wraps.
5. Shopping! Clothes, clutter, souvenires, art, furniture
6. Childrens amusment park...with ball pits, bouncing castles, games and prizes, mini basket ball shoots, and bumper cars!
7. Game Arcade! Enough said.
8. Exercise room, rockclimbing wall, fishing off the deck, shuffleboard, basket ball, bowling, and racket ball!
9. Fun Filled Playground
10. Large decks to walk, sun on, or stare at the view
11. Off board fun, like jet skiing, spear-fishing, water-skiing or deep-sea diving.
12. Daycare filled with fun and school type things.
13. The chance to really impress people and maybe even get invited to the captains table!
And if they still had room, a handful of port stops, depending on which cruise you take. A little port with a few buildings and some sort of neat interactions and shopping to amuse yer sims.



The Sims 2: Krazy For Kids

Finally, kids get the recognition they deserve! This EP is all about expanding the world of yer sim child.
1. Children, from babies to teens, can now be taken with you anywhere (except work), or left at home. But if left at home you need a nanny, babysitter or daycare. Teens and young adults can stay at home alone, or act as a babysitter for their siblings. New daycare option lets both parents work, even with a new baby in the family.

2. New special interactions for siblings! Fighting, playing, all the normal family stuff is now possible from your toddler to your teen. All ages of children, except babies, can now interact with other children. Talking, playing, fighting.....yer toddler can even throw a temper tantrum at the supermarket. Toddlers now have much more playability than before!

3. New park objects to keep kids amused! Forget that lonely swing, now your sim kids can have a slide, see-saw, and sandbox! We've even added a special pony carousel for community lots!

4. Toys, toys toys! Tons of new toys for all ages. Coloring books, dolls, trucks, jump rope, scooter, tricycle, puzzle, candyland, yo-yo, jack-in-the-box, legos, hopscotch, remote control car, E-Z bake oven, dress-up trunk, and much more!

5. New baby items! Let em do more than just sleep, eat, poop, and cry! Now you have a bouncy chair, activity mat, snuggly backpack, and wind-up swing chair.

6. Tons of new objects, clothes, and build items all focusing on kids!

7. Summer Camp! Ever need a break from those darn kids? Then send em to summer camp! If you can afford it, let em spend one week at the SimValley Kids Kamp. That gives you one week of freedom and relaxation. Option is not available for babies or toddlers. Only children, teens, and young adults are allowed. You cannot follow your child to camp, though you can get a postcard from them!

Down on the Farm - With this expansion I would like to see interactive animals - horses you can ride, cows you can milk, chickens that lay eggs for food, pigs that get fat for food, ducks for our ponds and lakes. Also, I would add a location for a county fair where your prized animals and crops can win awards. Your sims will also be able to can their veggies that they grow in their gardens and store them in their pantry for winter dinners. I would also add extra crops for growing - your sims can now earn a living growing soybeans or corn and they bale hay for their animals with a ridable sim tractor with attached baler and they can mow their lawn in addition to raking the leaves. Another addition would be a community Rodeo - take your best sim and horse to the rodeo and win tropheys and ribbons. Pay for riding lessons for kiddos. Also kids can interact with the animals and do farm chores for an allowance from mom and dad sims.

Life in the City - With this expansion, I want to open up our lots so that houses and businesses can be literally joined like rowhouses or duplexes with only the current playable family side of the lot active. You would have the option upon moving in to a home to either rent or buy- providing you have enough simoleons. I would add city parks and buses or subways instead of only a taxi. (I was thinking of the trolly cars - those are neat) And when your downtown - you are litterally able to walk from one business to the next - say maybe one street - both sides active with open business but to get to the next street you take the trolly car and to get across town you take the bus or subway. There would be motels, dining, and shopping all over town with an occasional street sweeper to keep things clean. In all city businesses you have the option to go in and look for a job. There would also be plenty of night clubs and the option to move from the city to the country and vice versa. Also, those living in other communities could visit the city community or work in the city or own a city business. Sims would also have Summer's off from school if their grades were good enough or Summer school for part of the summer and 2 week vacations where they could go on a cruise - with Sims 2 Cruise'n Expansion (mentioned in someone elses post - which I thought was a superb idea) The city would also have major transportation centers like an airport or seaport where you could either take a cruise to a tropical island or fly to a vacation spot like Paris France or Canada.

There's actually a pre-made face in-game that already has Elf-like ears; so I'd assume you can make them in CAS or Bodyshop. :).

Personally, I'd like to see much more being available for elders, including some good old fashioned cliche items--a rocking chair GrannySim can nap in that she doesn't have to be in p.j.s for and gives her a good boost of energy. The ability for elders (or anybody, I guess) to sit at the kitchen table and play cards or checkers or something. The ability to write letters for social boosts and creativy, maybe. A way to have a bridge night or something similar. Maybe a care home that works similar to dorms--an NPC cook, a common area, private rooms, etc.
And, needless to say, some decent old folks clothes. Being eldery doesn't make one retarded, so who would dress in some of those Maxis clothes? What WERE they thinking?

p.s. I liked the farm idea listed above, and the cruise ship idea.

I'm always interested in new careers, and additional Sim-to-Sim and object interactions. Beyond that... every EP (and even every SP) seems to manage to include SOMETHING I want, even if the initial concept didn't wow me. I'm not especially concerned about EA/Maxis-sanctioned ways to do things that can already be done in a reasonably non-kludgey way with CC and mods; I'd rather see things that can't already be done.

What I actually want more than anything that's likely to come from the game is custom content editing tools that are more powerful than Body Shop but less arcane than SimPE (I know how to use it, but some of the things it does are a pain in the ass for a really simple change), and it looks like we're starting to get some.

I want the EPs (well, I'm pretty sure there's one left, so the EP) to continue adding realism with a smidgen of the supernatural. Unlike what seems like the majority of the Sims2 community, I really don't want to see a Making Magic remake. I want more stuff concentrated on the families/generations, e.g. more objects/interactions/animations/STUFF for babies, toddlers, children, teens, and elders. I want a new aspiration (though it's probably too late), more life stages (again, probably too late), and more careers. I want activities that my Sims can do at home, without having to go through community lot load times. Oh, and I definitely want more foods, especially different snack options. And the ability for children to pour themselves cereal or something, and for children to interact with toddlers and babies more, as well as for toddlers to interact with each other more!

Ya know, I thought about this earlier, and I had a fun idea for a new ep, or even for sims 3.
Real Estate Mogule.
What do I mean?
Say you choose to make your husband powersell houses, this means that the husband buys a house, fixes it up, furnishes it with a specific budget, and resells it for more.
I think it would be a great idea for all of the creative people who play the game, as well as a great way to make money. Houses could be bought by sims, depending on how nice they have become, or they could be packaged to ea.com and see how many sims donwload the house, and get money everytime. I just think that would be awesome!

I would also LOVE an ep that lets you follow your kids and parents to work, and interact at work as you would at home.

And a superstar pack would be amazing, as it was my favorite from sims 1, excluding making magic. I loved that there were real celebs as well as made up ones in the game. I used to make potions and marry the made up ones just so I could have the fame. I was lazy back in the sims 1 days xD Still am of course. I miss the way that if your party was great, more and more would come, and then you may get a celebrity at your party *having Drew Carrey show up was always fun xD*

I want an EP which make the baby/toddler/child stages much more involved--I'm kind of sick of seeing everyone complain about how boring or annoying the toddler and baby stages are. I'd love to see more different interactions, such as toddler-to-toddler interactions which are sorely lacking. If they could include baby clothes or even hair, that would be wonderful. That would certainly make babies more interesting, even if they didn't include more interactions, because at least they would be easier to tell apart!

It's always bugged me how trees can't grow, grass can't turn yellow, wildflowers can't pop out of nowhere on the terrain, windows can't fog during the cold, objects can't age visually (rust, peeling paint, dirt, etc.), and how there are no mosquitoes/bees/wasps/etc. (death by bee sting?) to pester Sims. It would've made more sense for these to have come with Seasons, though.

If you played on a sim lot you'd still be able to see your neighbors on their lot next door (in their backyard or frontyard)and communicate with them
chat by the fence or invite them to a BBQ or flirt with the new neighbors ;)

Teen sims could egg their neighbors houses

Teens, younger sims and zombies and vampires go trick or treating when its autumn for Halloween (sim style of course)

Sims could mow their laws and have garage sales (which could be good for players with OFB)

House, Birthday, Wedding parties are boring and monotonous and only stay in one lot whereas Block Parties involve the whole block/neighborhood and include amazing fireworks (great graphic effects)

Sims could spy on neighbors as well as be spyed on and then gossip about it in detail if they saw something interesting (if a sim sees his neighbor cheating on his wife and you change lots so youre playing the cheating husband, your last sim that discovered the cheating already knows about it and could've informed the wife at work or told her friend)

Basically sims would be able to react and understand more about whats going on around them

Sims would have the ability to lie

Sims would be able to "network" , suck up, and do favors for other sims in order to get better jobs or get things free

If a Sim played his radio too loud other sims would get angry at him and either yell at him or give him silent treatment depending on their personalities

Sims could borrow/steal from their friends and neighbors

You could have your sim go on a jog or walk their pets around the neighborhood

Sims would get in trouble with police for walking around the neighborhood at night

Sims could park on the street or

drive around looking for parking if they didnt have garage (if they live Downtown where lots are smaller)

In Downtown there'd be street cleaning on some days so Sims could get parking tickets or have their cars towed if they park on wrong side of street

Sims could climb and fix leaky roofs

If theres a bad thunderstorm houses could get flooded and sims would have to wait it out on the roof (rare death by a shark/monster in the water during flood hehe)

Garbage trucks pick up garbage

social status based on neighborhood they live in,wealth, job status, size of house, number of cars/lovers

Able to washing car with hose in the summer

During Winter if neighborhood is next to hill Sims can go sledding

Rare tornados knock down trees so Sims lose power for a bit or their roofs are torn off

You can ask Sim neighbors to watch your kids (babysit) if you go out instead of always calling nanny

Teens and younger sims could organize games with the other kids of the neighborhood and play hide and seek or basketball all over town

If Sims caught cheating or do something bad other Sims can lock them out so they have to spend the night in the car or on the grass or dig through trash for food

If it gets really hot in the summer fire hydrants can be opened but sometimes the police comes and fines everyone

Another party option : Sims call up everyone in neighborhood/or just personal friends to watch shooting stars at night(great graphics) on their front lawn during the summer

I wanted more animals in "pets" and since there are only few small animals, I would like an EP with most different things...

* Sims can visit Zoo, with most different kinds of animals. They can also be owners of the zoo, or buy some smaller animals as pets. (Iguanas, Spiders, etc.)
* Sims can own ranch with animals like cows, horses, pigs, etc.
* Sims can do horse races, and enjoy their new pets.
* Animals are not controllable (they should be like pets)

I think that would be too hard for maxis, and since they allready made "pets", I can be satisfied with "Sims 2 Magic" or "SIms 2 SuperStar" :)

3. More foundation options, that allow u 2 build beautiful stairwells

All I'm hoping for it they add something in the upcoming EP that's similar to Superstar. In TS1, Superstar was the only EP that really made it feel like I was *playing* the game, and I'd love to have that in TS2 as well. *crosses fingers* I'm hoping!

I'd like more interaction with infants and toddlers. Especially being able to click on the infant and that the parents, other sims don't run to the baby just because the hunger is a little low. Real infants cry when they're hungry and it doesn't take so long for the infant to get tired.

Toddlers do more than just play. They explore the surroundings more than just playing in the toilet. I'd like to see them begin to learn to walk and talk on their own: pulling themselves up on the couches, chairs, and tables.

Recipes! I saw so many requests for recipes. Sims learning to cook should be able to learn how to make things other than the basic stuff.

There's already supposed to be another expansion this spring for hobbies.

When the Sims drink from the bar they don't just have to use the bathroom but do the stupid things that inebriated people do.

Real heating and a/c units. Has anyone noticed that inside the house is always the perfect temp whether or not it's hot or cold outside? And less automatic running around with waterballoons, playing catch, etc. without having to have hacks. I'd like to be able to choose to do this without the Sims running out doing this. Especially when the Sims go to the community lots. I don't see people running outside of the grocery do that. :lol:

More realistic heights. Not everyone is 6'. The stretch skeleton should be incorporated into the dynamics of the game and included as part of DNA.

I would like to have a live-in nanny, a live-in maid and a live-in grounds keeper.
You have servos already, they do that, there is mods who let you change appearance and clothes on servos so they look humans if you don’t need a robot.
The good thing with servos is that they have much simpler needs than sim so you don’t have to micromanage them as much as standard sims.

ts2 for ps2 had something like recipes...I think it was called recipes, and the plants and fishtanks could be harvested(even a couch!) for a variety of odd fruits and seafood. Making something barftastic for a sim you disliked was fun, or making something that got a crushes...juices flowing...lol.

I like the farm idea too. Perhaps an entire nature exp pack would be good.
Family interactions would be good too and sports. Adding more dynamics period would be good to the lifestyles. Teens are able to get a job after school butr what about allowing them to join clubs or sports too for the kids and teens? What about allowing your sims to get two jobs if they are hard up for cash instead of just one?
And of course sometimes you do or do not want to follow your sim to where ever he is going. So you should bge given a choice of whether to follow your sim to another lot, to work, or to school. And of course if you follow them to work or school, that would allow more social interactions and you would be able to communicate with more than just the random "I brought a friend home from work/school today" interactions.

The Sims 2: Building!

We're already able to make amazing houses in the game, but if they could make an expansion that includes all the building features (such as different roofs) that came with previous EPs, as well as add all-new stuff for your house and even more building features that could completely awesomeify Sim buildings--I would be all for it.
The expansion would also include new types of foundations, new buy mode items, doors, windows, walls, floors, flowers and shrubs--basically, everything under the sun that can possibly be added to make houses look less boring and more "WOW!" It would make it a lot easier to build great houses.

I would like an EP where your sims have sea life lol it would be funny to see sharks and the Loch Ness Monster in your pond :P alligators, Giant Squid, Jelly Fish, Dolphins and have the sims hold onto their fins and swim with them and the Mystical Creature is a mermaid and if you get touched by the mermaid you become a "Sea Sim" when you become a "Sea Sim" You can talk to the sea life breathe under water your sims would have fins and their skin would be really blue and they'd have purple eyes.Whenever your sim goes into the pool or pond they turn into a sea sim it only happens when they go into water and when they come out of the water they stay like that for 5 sim hours. lol Thats my idea I have a weird mind.



i think that's an awesome idea, and i had something similar to it, except i love the idea of sea sims talking to sealife. what i had in mind is that sims could talk to mermaids and get to know them, become friends, like you would a vampire or a wolf and the mermaid could give the sim a special necklace that when they put it on they become sea sims. the rest of your ideas are awesome. we should get together and dish on them.

Yes, i would like a super star remake too :D! One of my favorite Sims 1 expansion packs.
they should have different options like acting, music, reality victim maybe? lol
and like for music, you can watch them make music videos. For acting, there should be an option to practice anywhere and with another sim.

from the sims 1, they should include photoshoot, the smoothie and sushi carts, mud bath, really expensive clothes, some real celebrities

Yeah it was urbz, and all these things would be awesome, I would LOVE to see a superstar EP!!!

-It would also be awesome if your sim records his or her new song in the record studio and then when the track is finished, within a few days or hours the song shows up on the radio!!

I want a family expansion not a stuff pack. Several persons had mention it. I have no idea of what kind of features this Ep can have but I'm really interested by a Family Go Crazy Ep loll

- More interactions with babies, toddlers, children ( I know, I repeat what others said..)
- More interactions with elders. They can do a lot of things, like taking care of the babies while the parents are working.
- I would like to have a thing, like the sewing machine, but to do some wood furniture. In french, it's call Ébinisterie.
- More toys! My sims are sick to play with the horse and the boat.
- May be Breast feeding? ( with no hacks...)
- The sims can do more than clean the toilet and the sink. Laundry, clean the pool, clean the floors, the windows...
- I like so much the idea to do recipes! May be more interactions at the grocery store...like choose with food you like ( Fastfood or biofood)
- Children have to loose their teeth! :) And go to the dentist or doctor when they are sick...( hospital...)

You can open a livery yard (barn) where other Sims bring you their horses/ponies and you look after them - muck out the stables (stalls), feed, hay, groom, turn horses out into the paddocks etc. The horse owner sim pays you whatever you want to charge them. Teen Sims wander in at random and help you out [just like they do in real life] for free.

You can start up a riding school - you have to buy in horses and ponies and train as a riding instructor (career), then start giving lessons to other Sims.

Racehorse trainer - own your own racehorses and have other Sims hire you as a trainer for their horses, similar gameplay to riding school - you collect fees for training other people's horses and winnings from races you enter. With options for training each horse (would included steeplechasing and hurdling)

I will agree with everyone that I would love to see a Superstar ep remake. Unfortunately, I think that the Glamor Life stuff pack was supposed to be their (pitiful) version of it. It featured more luxurious items and clothing, and I think ti was supposed to be their version of the glamorous living that comes with being rich and famous.

As I've heard it Apartment Life was the last EP they were going to make. It's likely to be all stuff packs from now on, so we're not likely to get a whole lot of new careers and interactions. Not from Maxis anyway, although I hope that isn't the case.

1 idea is that you could make Sims 2 Global!! Or something like that... You could go to some different countries around the worldd, like Italy or China or somethingg. You could also like get clothes from there and get global foods.... And you could also meet new peoplee, that are a different culturee.

Kinda lame compared to some other ones on heree... but oh well!! I triedd!! And I like the idea of making new recipes and the Cruisin' onee. :)

Hm... I don't know. :/ All of TS2 Expansions already pretty much summed up things to do. I heard a rumor though that EA will be making a Young Adult stuff pack, since people complained that the University Life Pack came with Teen Style Stuff, but the stuff was for teens, not for Young Adults which your sims become in University...

Hopefully that's true. :) But I doubt it...
