i was reading random tech articles and came across this line in an article equating user created content,videos and games being used by companies to sweat shops at the turn of the century...anyway...i thought it wasn't coming out til spring or fall 09...is newsweek wrong?

They're certainly not complaining about Spore—unless it's about how long it's taken videogame creator Will Wright and his team to complete the universe-simulation game, which finally ships in September.

I think with all the hype it's got, it's bound to disappoint a lot of people. I know I got pretty tired of the creature editor after a few tries with it. I just hope gaming will be a lot more surprising! But the hype will generate sales, I guess, and that's all that matters. To them, that is.

okay, thanks treeag, coltraz. i coulda swore it was slated for 09 but i may be thinking of TS3...i tend to mix things up :)

i tend to agree it may be a disappointment to many who are expecting something fantasmagloric after such a long wait,however blatant negativity does nothing to contribute to the discussion or the well being of those of us who are looking forward to it even a small amount.

so what i want to know is does anyone think itll be delayed again thats what im worried about, im interested although im inclined to wait a bit after its been out to see if its somthing i really want in theroy i do, but never know with even just a few months to wait its always possible they might get rid of somthing i really wanted (think how sims2 needed to remove weather originally due to technical issues) although after watching robin williams fiddle with the creation tool im more inclined to like it ..im so easily amused
