ok, so two days I was browsing a website that was recommended to me, and was looking through the lots section when I was inspired ! I saw this house which was out of this world. So after quite a bit of downloading to get the same objects as in the house, and a few hours of simming, I bring you a completely new style for me ! Usually I go for bright colours but the house I saw was all in blacks and greys etc. so I had to break away from the norm.

This is my new working University in my main hood, NOT in a University sub-hood. It works just fine, I have Young Adults living there who can do research, term papers, homework and go to class just like a Maxian University. I will show off the CraftHall (the lot were classes take place) next week - this is the Dormitory you are looking at now. The CraftHall

This is the CraftHall I said I would show off. My Sims declare a Primary and Secondary Focus (similar to majors and minors). They come here with the Headmaster and study throughout the day in their chosen Focus, then head back to the dorm at the end of the day. So think of this lot as the Classrooms of the Academy.

(Since this is not a business, and there is no show off a Uni thread, I am putting this here. I hope that is correct!)

Well, as I explained in the Female Pics thread, game = kaboom so my downloads = gone. I'm slowly rebuilding and being much more picky so most of my content is Maxis atm. Anyway, this is Avalon and Destry's "starter" legacy house. It's quite small so I just started renovating it for their new addition. And they're tight on money so bare bones decorating, I didn't waste money on curtains or artwork yet.

The only room unfurnished is the kitchen now, and there's also a basement. At first I thought I might move Milla's room (the kids room I posted earlier) to the basement when she turns into a teen, but I think I'm going to keep it empty instead so I will have some space to put their new hobby stuff when I get Free Time :)

have you ever had one of those days where your building a house on sims 2, and everything seems to fall into place perfectly, and when you finally finish the house, your sad its over ? well today it happened to me lol. i was flicking through sky+ a few days ago and was watching a movie, cant quite remember what its called though :P, anyway, a guy pulled up to a house and it had this presence, it looked amazing and i hadnt even seen the inside yet lol. also if youve seen 'when a stranger calls' you always remember that stunning house on the lakeside. I took inspiration from these two homes and came up with this...

When I move a sim to college, I send a bunch of townies with them a. to make things more interesting than just having one playable sim surrounded by unis and b. to make it so generation after generation isn't going to high school and bringing home the same freaking kids afterschool.

They're not my favorite, but this is the sort-of-apartment I have for Ricky Comier and his wife (I don't know her name, actually, but she's also a former townie from Pleasnatview - I wanna say Livia or Lavia something. It doesn't matter because he's completely unfaithful and sleeping around. Plus his true love is another former townie named Opal something).

Anyway. After they got married, Ricky and his wife moved into a dorm and had a little construction done so that their rooms were connected. Then they decorated one room as a livingroom and one room as a bedroom. They still use the cafeteria though.
