As an addition to the Mission Brief - your Aliens are going to be landing on Earth. Simple, right? The contest is not set in any specific time period - so your Alien could land on Earth during Victorian times, the Mesopotamian Bronze Age, the Future or present day...it's entirely up to you.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v36/Sam_Monoceros/Sim%20Competition/AliensIncRules.jpg

Male and female Aliens are allowed - teenager to elder.
One Alien per person is allowed.
Photoshopping and pose hacks are allowed, Simmerising and Simpose is not. Extra points however, will not be awarded for Photoshopping ability.
Follow the usual forum photograph rules.
Alien must be of your own creation.
The Alien may be your run-of-the-mill Maxis alien, the blue CC skintoned alien, Enayla skintones - you get my drift. ;) Just as long as they can be considered alien. Vampires/Elves and the like would not be allowed.
Judges, please be prompt with your scores each round. If you can’t get in your scores for whatever reason, please let me know at least a day in advance so emergency judges can be contacted.

What do you mean by "world" picture

One shot of the Alien's world - so it could be a picture of their planet from a space view, or of an alien-esque city for example.

Question: Does Step#1 mean round number one? Or is there only one round and the four pictures are the four steps?
Like for the first round we have to do 4 pictures of them "Preparing and Arriving" Earth or on their planet for the world shot?

Just for clarification:

Step One = Round One
Step Two = Round Two

And so on and so forth. ;) In all there are four rounds ("Steps") and the Application Round.

I really want to join! But I'm having a hard time with the "world" picture. I am unable to find neighborhood objects that I think would work well with what I am picturing. So, if I can't do that would a picture of the planet have to be something entirely of my own creation? I am terrible at drawing and anything artistic so I may run into a problem there.

Lou, I will add you as a judge. :) Welcome aboard!

Ktbcca, you don't have to create a planet that's entirely your own. The world picture is mostly to give an idea, and a more visual view of what type of place these aliens are coming from. :)

Raindrops, I look forward to your application!

Age: 28 Earth years, 42 Arc years
Alien Planet: Arc-767

http://i473.photobucket.com/albums/rr100/ktbcca/alien/planet.jpg

Arc-767, or just Arc to those who live there, is quite similar to Earth. Like Earth, its atmosphere is mostly made up of nitrogen and oxygen and it has large masses of water covering a great deal of the planet. Arc has two moons, Sim and Tre.

Background:

So this is the part where you get to hear about me, huh? Well I’ll do my best to keep it simple. Now…where to begin?

Well, let me just say this, growing up I had a huge problem with authority. I couldn’t tell you why, but I did. I thought school was a joke. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a pretty smart woman, but it was just the structure I hated. I did everything I could to make it horrible for everyone else because it was so horrible for me. I was a bully, I talked back to my teachers, I never did my work, I constantly skipped class…eventually I just up and quit. I was spending all my time in suspension anyway; I didn’t see a point in going anymore.

After dropping out, I leeched off my parents for a few years until they’d had enough and kicked me out. Yup, just straight out on my ass with absolutely nothing. I was a legal adult by then, so there was nothing I could do but try to survive. I wandered for a few months from town to town, living off of the generosity of others. I’d never shown anyone any generosity myself and really didn’t deserve it, but I didn’t consider that at the time, I was just hungry and cold. Finally, I ended up in a city called Dred.

Dred was a magical place for me. It’s one of the largest cities on the continent of Grip and I felt myself not only getting lost in the never-ending streets but also in the excitement and the movement of this huge place. I had no idea where I was going to sleep, how I was going to eat, how I was going to stay alive, but I didn’t care. I was finally home.

I slept on the streets for weeks and begged for coins to buy food, until one lucky day it all turned around. A remarkably handsome guy strolled by me as I was chilling on a bench in the park. I cleared my throat as he approached; you know just to get his attention. And what do you know he glanced my way! I smiled coyly and he threw the most gorgeous smile I’d ever seen right back at me. I won’t go into the details but let me say from then on, we were inseparable.

His name was Gash and he worked in a shipping company’s warehouse, nothing glamorous but it paid the bills. Life could never be normal with me around though. I was looking for an easy way to make a lot of extra cash, and I came up with what I thought was a great idea. Underneath the warehouse where Gash worked, there was a massive basement. Completely empty, completely deserted at night, it was perfect. I proposed we start a little, hmm how should I put it…club. I had heard stories in the past about groups of people who just got together to wrestle and fight, it seemed like an awesome time if we could figure out how to make money with it. Gash proposed a cover charge plus we could sell…medication to our patrons once they got in the club. It was as good as done in our minds, and just like that, I was on the path to my new life.

The club was a massive success. Who knew so many people where just dying to get beat up? Oh, and high afterwards to get rid of the pain. We were rolling in the money and didn’t have a single worry in the world. One thing I will tell people now is this, don’t ever get too cocky. We got cocky and we got caught. Of course we got caught. How could we be so stupid? The cops raided the warehouse one night when it was filled to the brim. Just like that we were finished.

I was given an option, go to jail or join the military. Screw both of those, just kill me, I remember thinking. But I really did have to make a decision. In the end, I knew both would be horrible, but at least in the military I would be able to travel possibly, even earn a decent living. Gash unfortunately, chose jail. The idiot. I'll probably never see him again...

In order to be enlisted, I had to take a test to prove my intelligence. Remember, I hadn’t finished school. I breezed through that thing though and actually with my scores qualified for quite a good position. I was to be trained for covert forces. I know I know, what were those idiots thinking?! I am the most undisciplined being on the planet, it could never work. But work it did. Never underestimate the powers of brainwashing and a rigorous workout schedule.

My training was completed two years ago, and since then I have been working in a small base the middle of nowhere. I have yet to see any action but soon that will, without a doubt, change.

Brief comment on your aliens thoughts about the mission:
I went through quite a range of emotions when I was told about the mission. At first, surprised. What are they thinking picking me? They must have some really messed up opinion of me if they think I can handle something as big as this mission. And then, fear. I've never left Arc before, I'm a tough chick but geez, going to another planet? I don't know their customs, their language, their capabilities. This is just too much for me. Next, deep thought. Okay maybe 'deep thought' isn't exactly an emotion, but it's what I was doing. I realized that this is finally my moment to shine, I can actually make myself proud. The final emotion, sheer happiness. I have nothing to worry about! People have been traveling through space for centuries! And it's not as if some little earthling could take me on. This is going to be amazing!

Name: First, aka "Sally"
Age: 18 'Earth' years
Alien Planet: SITSFA

Long ago a moon was discovered above my planet. Generations looked up at it, wondering what it meant for our place in the universe. These long ago people looked up at the moon and yearned to go there, to see what secrets could be discovered on its lunar surface. It has been called many things over the ages, from a deity to floating space debris. But one thing it has remained over the years is a protector. The star in my solar system is so strong that direct exposure to its rays would mean certain death. The moon has allowed life to exist on my planet. Early people lived as nomads, moving with the moon so as to stay in its dark shadow. As my society became more and more technologically advanced, we turned to the subterranean crust. Now, there exists a technologically superior society underground with cities crisscrossing my planet. Yet still the moon looms overhead: my deity, my protector, my everything. My home.

At birth, I was selected from millions and taken to the moon with thirty other babies. We were taken away from the normal lives we could have led. From that moment on, my life belonged to THEM. I was bred for battle, conditioned for every eventuality. I was taught to live, eat, and breathe war. In complete isolation, I trained. The training bubble became my whole world.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v624/srgJadzia/snapshot_572affab_972b17ad.jpg

All I ever knew was obstacle courses, martial arts, and intelligence. I learned every piece of information they gave me, I memorized my world's top secret intelligence database. I can tell you anything about any known planet: climate, diameter, favorite radio station, and who won Sims Next Top Model every cycle. I can attack and defend against any known martial art style. I am a super soldier, taught to reason, contribute, and dominate, but also to obey. Above all, to obey.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v624/srgJadzia/snapshot_572affab_d72b22af2.jpg

But why, you might ask? THEY made me a warrior. THEY have a plan, and I am part of it. But I had to wait 43 lunar cycles before I could learn what my part in it was.

As I have said, I trained alone, in complete isolation. I did not speak to another member of my species for 43 lunar cycles (approximately 18 "Earth" years). Then one day, all of that changed. THEY deemed that my training was complete. I was given a new wardrobe, my uniform. A uniform that is everywhere respected and feared, attributes that serve my brethren well as we 'travel'. And finally, after 43 lunar cycles, I was allowed to leave my training bubble. I stepped out into the largest room I had ever occupied, I nearly got vertigo from the sheer size of it. When I recovered from my surprise, I was able to take in the details of the room. At one end, I saw windows. At first, I thought they just looked out at the stars. But as I got closer, I saw that they overlooked so much more. For the first time ever, I saw my home planet.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v624/srgJadzia/BodyshotII.jpg

I stood frozen for what must have been at least 43 more cycles until the room started flashing red and red lines appeared on the floor for me to follow. I followed those lines through serpentine hallways and into an even larger room. In the middle there was a computer. I sat down. This was it, I remember thinking, I was finally going to get my assignment. I put my face close to the screen, allowing it to scan the back of my empty eyes. Suddenly, the screen began flashing and there appeared one word, "EARTH".

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v624/srgJadzia/Reaction.jpg

I was devastated. After 43 lunar cycles of training, I was being sent to EARTH! I'm not sure what I expected. I suppose I was hoping for a leadership position in the military, maybe even Supreme General. Instead, I was being sent to a completely uncivilized society incapable of space travel. A society my people used as vessels for bearing their children. A society that mine viewed as little more than cattle. What were THEY thinking? How could this possibly fit into THEIR plan? I was confused and upset, but I obeyed. I must always obey. As I sat in the chair contemplating the meaninglessness of my life, a blue light descended in a circle around me, almost blinding me. I looked up into it and everything faded out. I was pulled up into one of our mobile 'traveling' saucers. And just like that, I was gone, a worthless soldier bound for a worthless planet.

Name: Moraja
Age: 21 Earth Years, 2 Alien Years
Planet Name: Sloomookoo

The planet of Sloomookoo had sent out little "visitors" to Earth every year or so in Earth years. At first we were treated as gods, worshipped and loved. Though, in our recent trips it seems the humans no longer think of us as that. The call us "aliens", though, they themselves are horribly unadvanced and are so called "aliens" to us. Through time, all our visits have been peaceful... until now.

Background:
I am an ordinary Sloomookooian, or so I thought. All my life I have been a model citizen, great mom, and terrific cook in my opinion. Never have I been involved in anything close to illegal or political. I'd just like to say that before I begin.

It all started two years ago, when I married my husband, Azul. Soon afterward we had two wonderful twins, Diabla and Diablo, which was very rare, since the birth rate on Sloomookoo is about 5 a year for the whole planet! Now my husband wasn't the kind of guy who was outgoing and talked about everything, he was very secretive. So secretive, that I didn't know.

One day he didn't come home from "work". A few hours later I got a phone call saying my husband was being held captive on Earth, and you can imagine my horror to that. All my life I had learned that Earth was the worst place to be. Nevertheless, he was there. His actual job was a secret spy on Earth, but he had never ventured to actually go there until then. I of course, felt devasted.

I was ready to lock myself up forever, because one, my husband was gone, and two, they had stopped futher contact with Earth. But then I was told that I was forced to go there. They said if I didn't they would kill me and my children, a very hefty price. My mission was to finish my husband's job of gathering information. My own personal mission, was to find him.

So I went through years of training, until I got that call. It wasn't easy either, learning how to work on spacecraft, dealing with humans, mind games, and everything related to Earth including our history there. Then I got the phone call.

ReactionShot
http://i598.photobucket.com/albums/tt66/whatwedobest/snapshot_d72b3336_f72c5412.jpg

I got the phone call saying "You are to venture to Earth in two day's time in Earth time. If you do not go you and your family will be terminated, Thank you. Remember if you fail to complete this mission, your entire family will be terminated."

I was suprised and horrified. It was going to be hard to complete my mission, but I had to do it. I don't think I could of gathered up the courage to pack until I thought of my dearest husband, Azul. Hopefully, if not for me for the children, he would still be alive. But I had other things on my mind. This was the last time I would be able to see my children for a long time, and I HAD to complete this mission. If I didn't, let's just not think about that.

Ever since I was little I have dreamed of going to another planet and see if they live like us. I was never like all of my peers. I got hurt when I was little and got a burn on my face. I think that it makes me look beautiful now, but before I hated it. I became a model when I was 300 years old. When I was 500 I decide that instead of using my beauty for money I would use my brain. I became an astronaut and I hope that one day I will get to follow my dream and go to another planet.

Of course you can join. :) The basic mission is outlined in the initial post - going to Earth and scoping it out as the potential new planet for your alien civilisation. What's required exactly will be detailed in the subsequent Steps, but from there it's completely up to your own imaginations as to how things are carried out.

How long do you expect rounds to be, TRIriana? I'll be out of town from Friday the 12th to Monday the 15th, but I've already begun my application, and I'd like to participate if I can.

These are the dates that I'm going to be updating on the initial page in just a moment:

Application: 25th to 1st (May be extended to the 3rd)

Step I: 1st to 5th Judging: 5th to 7th

Step II: 7th to 11th Judging: 11th to 13th

Step III: 13th to 17th Judging: 17th to 19th

Step IV: 19th to 23rd Judging: 23rd to 25th

So Round II will end the day before you're heading out of town and there would be two days left of Round III when you get back. :) There won't be eliminations during the contest anyway, so that should provide a little leeway if it's needed.

Background: something about me huh, hmm... my name is Aexa'mahin-Koebru Aeoetathu Elk, daughter of Doy'Zaex-Qisp Elk 4th leader of our planet. we are one of the most powerful families of our planet. we live in floating islands were cities are located, we have twelve Islands which supports two cities, in this Cities there are two appointed leaders who protects and rule it. one of the Leaders is my father the 4th Quemera of the council. for generations the Elk family has been in Politics, always in the top five Quemera seats and never lower than that. My mother Sue-we'Ek chu'whie Elk is also in position, she is one of the "Angels" a protecting program only appointed to women, they are the only one who can enter Euro-Que'Remestu. never know what they do, it is said that they are apointed since birth by "The X" having white transparent birthmarks in them. living with a very busy and powerful family was hard for me. going to council hearings, having parties 5 times a week, needing to dress very royal even if your only inside your house and not even the chance to know or bond with your family. since i was born i never had a chance to have fun with my Parents, or have a complete family dinner with them, its mostly only me, my sister and my brother. My siblings are the one who took care of me when i was little, i grew really close to them, they were like the parents i never had, but then when i was four my brother decided to move out and join the force, since then i never saw him in the house again. at the age of 5 it was only me and my sister, we grew really close but then again she moved out, she was accepted at the institute of technology which was in the other island. i was left alone in the house without no one. my childhood days wasn't really that happy, as i grow up i grew really silent, shy and doesn't really care about anything anymore. i always sat in the corner playing my violin or just stare out the window of my room looking at that big blue orb at the center of our planet. many guys also tried to get my attention and my heart, but i guess my heart is locked in me and never knew were the key was. i didn't open my self to people i was always alone in my little world that i didn't have time and didn't have the attention for people, but when i turned 15 i felt something i didn't felt before, my locked heart wa then free. i fall in love with the son of the 2nd leader, he was 4 years older than me and he was in the force. we really loved each other but i guess we were not meant for each other. on a mission his ship was hit by a meteor and was never found. after that incident i again locked my self up and promised not to do the same mistake again. i was always the obedient child, always saying yes pa and yes ma when they needed me. do what they ask me and didn't really care, i was also the neglected child, and yes sometimes i wanted attention but sometimes i just tell my self why bother trying to get their attention, but i always think what to do to get their attention. i guess im really tired being only me, or im just jealous of my siblings who really succeeded in life. my brother Domino was elected Muero, second highest rank in the force. and my sister Die-lani married the first son of the 1st leader of our planet. i then though what about me, what can i accomplish, what can make my parents proud of me? but i really didn't know what to do. Then one night my father accompanied by 2 council members came to the house and went straight to my room, the two leaders stood infront of my door and father came closer to me, i really didn't know what was going on, then he said that im on a mission to go to earth.

Reaction Shot
http://img188.imageshack.us/img188/7384/reactions.jpg

There was silence for a while, then i got a little confused, i then bowed my head and closed my eyes tight. i was really shocked but i couldn't give the reaction, i felt scared too but after a while i though maybe this is it. maybe this is a way i could be like my siblings, i could make them proud. i then held my head up and looked at them, "i will do it" i said and gulped hard but i gave them a smile. as they leaved my heart started pumping hard, i really don't know what to do, i was scared but excited, happy but sad. then i overheard three of them. my father arguing why me why not others, then the other leader said because im a half something and that i can handle the earths atmosphere. then one of the leaders looked in my direction i got really scared and closed the door.

BodyShot
http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/8094/mahinrubody.jpg

i then walked towards my window and looked out, wondering what will happen to me. i got really nervous but there was nothing i can do, i already agreed and i can't back out. i looked at the sky and hoped for the best.

Biography:

Storytime, huh? Well, were to start... I was born and raised in Blu, a small city on the Planet of Escuro. My mother died during my birth, and I was raised by my dad, Blake -- a former war hero. Me and my dad never really had a tight bond-- or really a bond at all. He was mean to mean, excessively strict, and generally wanted nothing to do with me.

I never did figure out why he hated me so much, I was a good kid. I got good grades, barely got in trouble with teachers, never broke rules. Back in school, I was I guess you could say--the popular kid. Through elementary school, all the way through high school. I finished school with amazing grades and had dreams to become a model. Silly, I know. I probably could've become one to. That would be if it weren't for my dad.

Aparrently he had bigger plans for me. My dad-- the war hero, wouldn't have any child of his becoming a model. No, he refused to let me leave until I saw his way. He wanted me to become the best soldier on Escuro, just like he was. He tortured and abused me, for two years, trying to turn me into a merciless killing machine.
And succeded.

After he believed I was finally ready, he admitted me to the Escuro Military, where I fought for four years, killing, stealing, being promoted through the ranks and in the end finally reaching the top. Thats when they came for me.

After all those years I hadn't realized that Escuro was slowly--but surely-- dying. All our natural resources were slowing draining, depleting. We had but a few years left, 'till our planet would run dry. . . After those four years of working for the military, a man came for me. He told me he was from Aliens Inc. and told me of Escuro's troubles. He informed me that I was our last hope for survival. I had to fly to Earth, and confirm it was a suitable replacement for Escuro. I was the person most qualified for this mission.

Well I guess you could say I took this news.... badly. My first reaction was denial, but that quickly faded as I truly absorbed everything the man said. Then ... anger. Why me! I never asked for this! For any of this! I didn't want to become a soldier, that was my dad's wishes. It was too much pressure, knowing the fate of an ENTIRE planet rested in my hands! That if I failed, my whole world would suffer. The anger--like the denial-- slowly faded. I realized I was the only one qualified, and maybe it would be interesting. The next emotion were fear-- which was an akward emotion for me, as I hadn't felt fear in a long time. And the final emotion would have to be:

Excitement.

As...succinct as S'lith was, perhaps I should add a little more detail. He was right that a minimum of 4 and maximum of 5 photographs are needed but he refrained from explaining that these photographs need to be split into two parts:

Preparation: 2 photographs - other aliens may be in these shots.
Arrival: 2 photographs - these shots must centre on your alien. There may be Humans in the background, however any Humans must not see your alien at this stage. Your alien can be taken just getting out of their ship, starting to explore...anything!

Note: If you choose to take 5 photographs, the extra one can be added to either Preparation or Arrivel - that part is up to you!

As the esteemed Commander pointed out, you will be able to choose from a collection of territories to land in. Only one person is allowed per territory, so be quick to reserve the area that you would like!

Territories
Desert - Moonstream27
Ice Scape
Island - Clw8
Mountains - Whatwedobest
Forest - Aya Alexa
National Park
City - JJ1010
Holiday Resort - Ktbcca
Village - Sims2controlfrk
Museum

So carried away was Mr. Pompous up there that he didn't explain anything about Writing Requirements, so here you go:

6 lines per picture. You can write in first-person, past tense, etc, whichever you feel more comfortable with.

All deadline dates are on the initial post of the Contest Thread, and will end at 10pm GMT.

Fortunately, S'lith is full at the moment. ;) J/K. The above areas aren't full of people all of the time - for example the alien could land there at night, when the village is asleep or when the museum is closed. If you decide to set this far in the future on Earth, the city could have been completely shut down for some reason. :D

Spec Log: Entry One
Place: Ter Space Shuttle
Time: 1300 hours

My shuttle has departed from Arc and I am well on my way to Earth. My anxiety has subsided for the most part and I am keeping myself busy with preparing for landing. I refuse to step onto a planet I know next to nothing about, and thankfully my superiors agreed that research can do nothing but good for our mission. I have been provided plenty of books and papers looted from a mission to Earth long ago and have spent the majority of my free time buried in their pages. It is quite a task sorting through these when gravity is turned off, but I am beginning to adjust. The things I read about Earth never fail to surprise me. Humans seem to be extremely diverse, yet they do not appreciate diversity. I must, and will, learn more of their strange customs.

http://i473.photobucket.com/albums/rr100/ktbcca/alien/prep3.jpg

It is absolutely necessary for me to stay in peak physical shape. Having no clue what type of violent savages I may encounter, I have continued to keep a strict work out regimen. It is very difficult to exert yourself in a place where no gravity exists, so once a day the captain will turn on gravity throughout the shuttle to allow exercise. There is not much in the way of exercise equipment on the shuttle, this being so I have developed my own kick boxing routine. I am thankful my suit allows for much more movement than it appears to, otherwise I might have caused quite a few tears in it. No matter what I encounter on Earth, whether it is a violent assault or just a confusing custom I must take part in, I know I will be prepared.

http://i473.photobucket.com/albums/rr100/ktbcca/alien/arrival3.jpg
Spec Log: Entry Two
Place: Earth
Time: 2200 hours

The journey has ended, or has it only begun? Despite the answer, I find myself in the most unfamiliar of places. I have a biting feeling that I was dropped off at the wrong place. Unfortunately, I am not free to contact the shuttle captain or my superiors at Arc, which makes me think they only left me here to die. I was beamed down onto a hard path in front of a large building in the middle of the night. I would like to note that Earth's moon is in the shape of a crescent at this time. A sign in front of the building reads "Closed for Maintenance" and the building itself looks to be completely deserted. I suppose this is the first test of my abilities. Do I go inside the building, or stay outside and explore the area? I can see pros and cons for both, but the silence outside is so disconcerting I make the decision to head into the building. Once inside, there is not much to take in. I am in a small room with a couple of benches and a desk of some sort. A great feeling of helplessness, fear, and anger towards my boss overwhelms me. How could they leave me here with no goals, no specific plan? What am I to do?

And then, I remember where I came from. I've lived on the streets, I've fought countless battles against people twice my size, I've been disowned by my family and survived...This is nothing! I stand up, brush off, and head out to explore the building.

Throughout the building there are many rooms with little furniture. A few beds, very low quality televisions, and small tables that to me have little purpose. There is also what I guess is a dining room and kitchen. The lights and water sources all seem to work properly and the building itself emits a low hum. I find a large empty tub on the balcony of one of the rooms and decide to test what exactly it's purpose is...

http://i473.photobucket.com/albums/rr100/ktbcca/alien/arrival5.jpg

I press a button and the tub slowly beings to fill with water. I am still confused by its purpose as all the other cleaning facilities were indoors. A small amount of steam comes off the surface of the water, warning me that it is hot. Knowing my suit will protect me from any excess heat, I slowly step into the tub. I am right, I feel no heat on my body, that is until I dip my uncovered hands into the water. Instantly my skin is burning and boiling. I am filled with pain and quickly get myself out of the tub. What on Arc is this devise? Is is meant for torture? It cannot be meant for pleasure, and if it is humans have thicker skin than I previously thought.

Mark that down as the first stupid thing I've done on this mission, again I ask myself, what were they thinking sending me? I get as far as I can from the horrible thing and end up in a room on the top floor of the building. I do not see an end to the night, so I decide to rest until the sun rises.

Spec Log: Entry Three
Location: Earth
Time: 1100 hours

I awoke this morning with Earth's sun beating down upon my face. Earth is closer to its sun than Arc is to its own, so it will take some time to adjust to the heat. The building is not much different in the daylight than it was at night, so today I will summon the courage to explore outside. The sea is so close to the building and it does help me feel at home. When I was young I would swim in the Hin ocean for hours and hours, until my mother physically forced me to stop...I don't dare test the water temperature with my own hands so I stay on the beach. In Arc, the beaches hold many wonders. Any given day you can find countless types of beautiful, smooth, colored rocks. I decide I must see what type of wonderful things this beach on Earth may have.

http://i473.photobucket.com/albums/rr100/ktbcca/alien/arrival2.jpg

I made the painful discovery that not only does this beach have gorgeous rocks, but it also is home to at least one violent and hideous creature. What I thought was a beautiful orange stone was the body of a strange, unintelligent animal that latched onto my finger almost the moment I touched it. I unhinged the thing from my hand and threw in down upon the sand.

I am utterly depleted. If I am not contacted soon I think I might go crazy on this horrid planet. Everywhere I turn there is something hurting me or attacking me. I thought I was strong but I have never had to deal with loneliness, confusion, and pain like this. I am growing sick of myself, one minute I am energized, ready for the next challenge, and the next I am ready to break down and cry. I must hang onto what little hope I have left for this mission.

Will I be safe once I get there, or will I be poked, proded, and studied until their little under developed minds are content? What happens if I never make it back to Solarojo? Will I ever see my nurturing environment again, or will I be forced to live a savage on a distant planet? As all of these questions feel my head, I can't help but to feel worried, scared, and angry. Yes, I am now angry that I got picked. Why me? Do I look like the perfect candidate for this thing? I'm really not sure any more. However, I don't want to be a let down. I can't be a let down to myself or my planet. I must do this.
http://i377.photobucket.com/albums/oo218/depposbournefan/ScreenHunter_03Jun011542.jpg

Deciding what to bring, and saying goodbye to all I'll leave may be the hardest part. I've lived all of my life safely behind these walls with everything I have ever needed to survive. Now that I am being sent away from it all, what will I do? What if it is impossible for me to substain life in a far and distant place with out all of these things? But, surely they wouldn't send me off, knowing that I will die, would they? Oh gosh, what if this is a termination mission; a way to heroically destroy me? I guess I should get a hold of myself though. They chose me, and if I want that freedom, then I need to take it like an adult. I'm not a child any more, and so, I must do this. I must go to planet Earth.

I have arrived with a big shock. I landed an a sand and water oasis. In all directions all I see is water. This is a big difference from what Solarojo's water is like. Also the sand here is much, much hotter. The sun here is equally as hot, and extremely bright. The sand is filled with small sharp shards of something: is this a method to keep humans out of the water? There is vegetation growing everywhere, much unlike Solarojo. I have also came across a few small slimey things that came up from the water. I started to touch one of them, just to be curious, but they it started flopping around, and went back out into the never ending body of water. Was this a species of human? A pet? Food? I'm not sure, but I will remember that next time I shall look, not try to touch.
http://i377.photobucket.com/albums/oo218/depposbournefan/ScreenHunter_01Jun012255.jpg

I have been rummaging around in the sand for a while, and decided to take a rest. The temperature on this place is so much hotter than Solarojo, and have found it hard to seek any means of cooling off. I know that the water is a no-no, because like I have said, I'd be cut up by all those shards. I have decided that sitting beside one of these large vegetation objects is the best place to be. It shields the sun ever so slightly, and provides a nice back support. I took the time to pay more attention to the water, and noticed that it makes racket. Yes, it moves back and forth, and is appearing to get higher up on the sand. Something tells me that this is not the place I should stay during the night.
http://i377.photobucket.com/albums/oo218/depposbournefan/ScreenHunter_02Jun012300.jpg

This is it for now. I think that I have found out all I have to find thus far. I do hope that my report was satisfactory, and has not been an embarrisment to my dear and loving Solarojo. I will stand by here, until my next mission, if one is to be given. Until then,

- Preparation -

After I finally accepted everything the man said and agreed to undertake the mission he left and told me I had 2 hours to prepare.

Goodbye, Nobody

http://i681.photobucket.com/albums/vv180/jj1010/AyaAR2Shot1-1.jpg (http://i681.photobucket.com/albums/vv180/jj1010/AyaAR2Shot1.jpg)

I traded up my red, silk, dress for a comfortable shirt and vest with striped pants and combat boots. I pinned up my hair and looked in the mirror. I prepared my courage for all the goodbye's I was going to have to say-- when it struck me. I had no one to say goodbye to. In all my years in the military I never stopped to make friends. Not once.
Wow.

I brushed the thought aside and continued to prepare.

* * * *

Blast Off

http://i681.photobucket.com/albums/vv180/jj1010/AyaAR2Shot2new-1.jpg (http://i681.photobucket.com/albums/vv180/jj1010/AyaAR2Shot2new.jpg)

The two hours went by quite fast and It only seemed like a matter of minutes before I was sitting in the spaceship looking down at Escuro. I noticed there was only a few other people in the ship with me. The pilot, the man from Alien Inc, and an attractive young Escurion man who I learned was named Blayne. I talked to Blayne a while, he was very nice. He, like me had worked in the military for a few years but as a lesser rank than I. I sat in my chair, bored, talked to Blayne a bit, got up, moved around a bit, sat down again, talked to Blayne some more; then finally we reached Earth.
From the outside it didn't look all that different from our planet. I expected a more obvious difference, but had yet to find one. It was made primarily of water with mixed blocks of land, similar to Escuro, it had areas of upraised land, also like Escuro, and a number of other things.

Hm. Maybe Earth wasn't so different after all.

- Arrival -

Landing

I was beamed down into a city. The first thing I noticed was: the brightness. Even in some of Escuro's lightest hours and with the assistance of the mechanical lights, it's not as bright as this! The second thing I noticed where my surroundings. I was standing in a small sectioned off area of land. A nature reserve of some sort--well a very small one. It contained a tree, a few small plants, and some sort of wooden seating. Also, the ground was covered in hundreds off short, green spikes. What's it called... grass. Yes grass, now I remember. Back in elemantary school we were taught of Earth and it's general structure. I turned and walked towards two buildings behind me. They looked funny. They were tall and slender, and contained several rectanglular holes covered by some sort of transparent material. I walked towards what I thought was the entrance and was about to enter when I heard a noice. Talking! Uh-oh!
Encounter

http://i681.photobucket.com/albums/vv180/jj1010/AyaAR2Shot4-1.jpg (http://i681.photobucket.com/albums/vv180/jj1010/AyaAR2Shot4new.jpg)

I ran into a small crack between the buildings and pressed myself against the wall. There was two voices, a man's and a woman's. I listened for a short while as the footsteps got closer and closer, entranced. I listened, and listened and then they stopped. One last word was said from them both and then the footsteps began again. Only one person walked this time. I coiled up ready to attack if they saw me. The footsteps approached closer... closer. They were right next to me now. Then.... a woman walked by, she was tall and had light brown hair. I waited, tense. But she continued to walk by.
Phewf.

Stupid, stupid, stupid. I thought at myself.

I must find a place to rest. I inched deeper into the crack until I reached a wall. I crouched down and lay to rest, though I doubted I'd get any sleep at all. I tried to relax, and I slowly drifted off. . .

There, I believe my R2 is done now. Oh and a few things, the word patch and patches auto linked to some EAxis thing, so that isn't part of the story, sorry and I can't find out how to make it go away. And the other thing is that in the 3rd photo the street is showing in the background, I just noticed that now and I am far to lazy to go take the picture again.

I hope I am not too late to join?

I'd just like to state that I absolutely stink at story telling but this was too good to miss out on so I‘ll try my best.

Name: D36 60010 (D36 for short)
Age: 20 Earth Years
Planet: Oylus

Oylus is a white planet surrounded by a layer of gas. The conditions are very harsh. Oylians (people of Oylus) suffer from searing heat on one half of the planet and extreme cold on the other. Where the two parts of the planet meet is ideal conditions but only the Royal family of Oylus are allowed there.

Background:
I am from a long line of famous and successful scientists and explorers and still am carrying on that tradition. I am curious about most things and so I tend to study and learn everything very quickly which in turn means I have skills in quite a few things! My greatest achievement so far is being accepted into Aliens Inc to study and discover new worlds.

This is my mug shot. I am quite a good looking Oylian don’t you think?
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v124/Peeka/SC/aliensinc/Headshot.jpg

Though I am very serious about studying and learning new things, I do know how to relax and enjoy myself. This is me posing and having some fun. Yup this is all me….
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v124/Peeka/SC/aliensinc/BodyShot.jpg

This was when I was told that I was off to study Earth. I was so happy and excited. I was literally bouncing off the walls. Of all the Oylians, I, D36 60010 (and not the snotty C36 50015, my rival and colleague at Aliens Inc who thinks they are better than me) was picked to study the primitive and savage Earth.

TRIriana,
I'd hate to see your contest close, so I think that I'll come out of lurk-mode and throw my hat in. I don't usually do Aliens and such, but my 15 year old son is on his head for me to give it a try. I see that you're in the U.K. so I hope that I can calculate the zone differences and get my app in on time. (I'm Eastern Daylight-USA).

I closed my eyes and let the blue light wash over me. It felt cold against my skin, but there was something else, something...not quite right... With a shock I realized what had unsettled me, it was alive! The light slithered across my skin and I felt tiny legs finding purchase on my arm hairs, now standing on end, as it crawled. Whatever was in the light was all over me. My eyes flew open in fear. I tried to look down at my body, tried to move to get whatever space-bug had found me off my skin, but I couldn't. I was frozen by some force outside myself. Terror flooded through me, making me more aware of my surroundings. That was when I saw it. Outside of the ring of blue light there was space. And only space. I was about to die, there was nothing I could do. I was frozen, this time in shock, complete terror for my life, and believe it or not, awe. I stared out at the stars, waiting for my moment to come, counting my breaths, wondering if each one was my last. I closed my eyes in resignation. And then, all of a sudden, it was over. My feet hit solid ground. The shock of it knocked the breath out of me and I fell to the floor, a hard floor, a floor made of space metal, like the floors in my training bubble had been. As I lay gasping for air, I was able to look about the room. There were the same old space metal walls that I was used to, but above me were strange hemispherical objects that I had never seen before but that could only be the source of the blue light. And that's when she walked in.

Her blank eyes stared down at me, rimmed in dark black sun protection eye liner. Her hair was parted at the side and smoothed down to either side of her head, accentuating the curved lines of her deeply indented jaw bone. Her nose extended sharply out of her face, casting shadows on her skin. Her green finger twitched, catching my eye with the movement, drawing my gaze down her uniformed arm to her hand. Then her paper thin lips began to curl, drawing my attention back to her face. I could hardly believe my eyes. Standing before me was a member of my race! The first I had ever seen. I lay on the floor wondering how to react to her, how she expected me to react. Every database I had ever read could not have prepared me for this. And then, she spoke. Sound waves emanated from between her smiling lips, and reached my ears,

"RISE"

The sound was sharp, clear, penetrating, and more painful than I had expected speech to be. It took me but a moment to recover from the shock and obey her command. I was in a new world but I could do that, I could obey. I could always obey.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v624/srgJadzia/snapshot_572affab_d7316f2e.jpg

I was reduced to a baby once again by my shock of being ripped from everything I knew. I was capable only of performing my most basic of lessons, to obey. Once I was on my feet, she turned around and walked out of the room, motioning for me to follow. I obeyed, I could always obey. I followed her through a labyrinth of space metal hallways until we reached a door. A keypad jumped out of the wall. She placed her hand on it, and the door swished open. I looked at the dark interior with a bit of trepidation.

"ENTER"

She commanded. I must obey. I set one foot inside the door. Then another, I was now inside. The door swished closed behind me. I was left alone in the darkness. I stood still for a moment, trying to decide what to do. I went forward. One foot. Now the other. One footstep. Now another. And before I could go any farther, the lights came on. Motion sensors, I thought to myself, of course! I was now able to survey my surroundings. There was not much in the small room, only a bed, the same blue lights I was used to, and a small table with a decorative structure on top of it. I had obeyed the given command, I had "ENTER"ed. In the absence of a command, I did not know what to do, so I sat down on the bed as it seemed like the logical thing to do. Now that the initial shock of the saucer was over, I began to regain my composure. I decided to lie down on the bed, and relax a bit more. I took a deep breath, coming back to myself. Okay, I decided, now I'm back to normal. Back to my logical, reasoning self. Relief washed over me.

I must have fallen asleep because the swish of the door woke me. She was back, this time with some friends.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v624/srgJadzia/snapshot_572affab_f73165dc.jpg

It didn't shock me to see her this time, or her friends. I smiled at them. She smiled back, those same paper thin lips curling again. "Hello, I am Four Hundred Fortieth. These are my guards, Four Hundred Forty First and Four Hundred Forty Second. How are you feeling?" Her voice no longer hurt my ears, I must have been quite agitated before. I was happy that I could hear her easily, but I realized now that she had asked me a question. That meant I was to respond. I felt panic building up inside me, but I crushed it. Using all of my training, I looked her straight in the eye and replied, "I am well, thank you for asking." I spoke seamlessly and she was pleased. She smiled at me again. "I see your training in the Earth language has been a success." It was only then that I realized why her speech when I first landed on the saucer was so abrasive to my ears. It was my native language, a language I had not heard for 43 cycles. I realized only then that I had been trained using the earth language. I had been trained for this mission, every fact I had learned, every obstacle course I had run, had been designed for EARTH. The disappointment I had initially felt when I heard of my assignment began to dissipate. I was bred for this. THEY know what THEY are doing.

She broke me out of my own thoughts, "We have nearly reached Earth. If you will come with me, so that we may outfit you for your mission?" It was not a command, but I still obeyed. I followed her and her guards out of the room and through the labyrinth of hallways again. Her guards made sure to stay between her and me, I don't know why. It puzzled me at first, but then we reached another door and I was distracted with wondering what might be inside. The door swished open and I saw racks upon racks of clothing. She marched right in, found the rack she was looking for and pulled off an outfit. She handed me the pile of clothing saying, "According to our records, we have fabricated this attire for you in accordance with estimated weather conditions at the time of arrival. I believe you will find that the clothes will fit. Change." I looked down at the fluffy bundle in my hands and obeyed. I spun around and found myself wearing authentic EARTH attire. I looked sadly at my uniform in my mittened hands. I had worked so hard for it, and now I was about to give it up. I steeled myself and handed it over to her. She smiled reassuringly and placed it on a shelf. Then she led me to the mirror. "Take a look." She said. I obeyed, one thought in my head, EARTH.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v624/srgJadzia/snapshot_572affab_f7316c2e.jpg

"Do you approve, First?" She asked hesitantly. I turned back to her, puzzled. "Yes, it seems adequate." She looked relieved at my words. I only became more confused. I was about to ask her about her shift in tone when she suddenly clapped her hand over her mouth. "Oops!" She said, eyes wide. I moved to reach out to her, wondering what was wrong. She shied away from my hand and the guards stepped forward. Puzzled, I stood immobile, but of course ready for a fight if necessary. I sized up the guards, my training kicking in. Just then there was a *ping* and a voice came over the loud speaker.

"GEOSYNCHRONOUS ORBIT: ENGAGED"

The voice had spoken in my native tongue. It was so abrasive to my ears that I fell to my knees, clutching my head. The guards did not miss a beat and immediately grabbed me by the arms. She, having mysteriously regained her composure, looked down at me in Four Hundred Forty First and Four Hundred Forty Second's arms, "WE HAVE REACHED EARTH. YOU ARE TO TRANSPORT TO THE SURFACE. YOU WILL RECEIVE FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS AS WE DEEM FIT. GUARDS, TAKE HER TO THE TRANSPORT ROOM." That was a command, and all three of us obeyed it.

I found myself standing under those strange hemispherical objects yet again. I looked up at the one above me and sighed. Here we go again, I thought to myself. Blue light shimmered around me. I shut my eyes and tried my best to imagine the next two minutes of my life never happened.

***

And suddenly, there I was. This planet I had been trained for all my life. I was unsure what I was trained to do on it, but I was, apparently, the perfect soldier for it. Excitement flooded through me in the instant before I opened my eyes. What would it LOOK like? What would it BE like? Smiling, I opened my eyes. Blinding light seared through my dark eyes. I thought for sure I would never see again. I reached into the pocket of my jacket for more sun protection eye liner, and hastily applied it. I tried opening my eyes again. It was a little better this time, the light less searing, but my eyes still watered. I frantically looked around me, I had been standing here a long time without knowing what dangers I was in the midst of. I cursed myself for letting myself become so vulnerable. But as I looked around, I realized that I was probably okay.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v624/srgJadzia/snapshot_572affab_973172dc.jpg

I relaxed a little. It was then that I heard a faint *ping* coming from my wrist. I looked down, and after pulling my mitten away, I discovered a watch I had not known I was wearing. It was flashing at me. I tapped it to make it stop. A deep resounding voice entered my brain, speaking in my native language and crippling me, "GATHER DATA ON SIM LIFE" I would have liked to stay on the ground clinging to my head for a while but I was just given a command. I must obey. I stood up and began walking. As soon as I stepped out of the circle where the blue light had been, a terrifying thing began to happen. My skin felt like it was being lit on fire, and the water I had accumulated to sustain me for weeks began pouring out of my pores.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v624/srgJadzia/snapshot_572affab_57317613.jpg

My watch began beeping at me, displaying a screen that read "130" in flashing red letters. "Well that can't be good." I said to myself. I looked around for some sort of shelter, some sort of protection from the sun, knowing that this planet was not like my own. In despair I realized that the only protection was a large prickly plant protruding from the ground. I ran to it, feeling the sun's effects more acutely as I ran. My body felt like sludge and my brain could not keep focused. My head began to pound in rhythm with my feet, which were slowing more and mooore, unable to find purchase in the straange terrain. I was help...less. I began to panic, after all of this, I was going to die in my first five minutes on EARTH. My thoughts began to swim, and I coud not run nemor...I hit the...the grownd...annnd culd not moov...must ooooooooobbbbbbbbbbeeeeeeyy---------

It wasn't, however after thinking about the rule for the second part of Round I I'm going to edit it slightly to give a little more leeway.

For the second section, there can now be Humans in the background, however they must not actually see the alien at this stage. The Round I post has now been edited to reflect this change. :).

Thirty-six sipsips had elapsed since contact from the High Disciplinarian. Skwint stepped onto the A2000 Intergallactic Vessel for launch prep, displaying the composure and the professionalism expected from a highly trained member of the corp. Colonel Hot-ee granted her permission to enter his bridge.
http://i510.photobucket.com/albums/s350/sims2controlfrk/Ship3.jpg
Skwint: Lt. Level 5B Skwint, alpha-num-Jj8Kll reporting for duty.
Hotz: Welcome aboard my vessel, Lieutenant. D-Geke and D-Ork will show you to your cubicle. You will return to the bridge in 800 ochnons for lift off. I will further disclose the orders from the High Disciplinarian.
Skwint: No disrespect, Colonel, but you are supposed to deliver the instruction packet not disclose its contents to me. This mission is of high importance and for that reason alone, I prefer my orders unfiltered.
http://i510.photobucket.com/albums/s350/sims2controlfrk/Ship4.jpg
Hotz: Lieutenant, your propensity for undisciplined emotions is perceptible…
(Whispers)…Get a grip, Skwint! My subordinates are watching. If I can’t maintain the appearance of order with you, then I can’t maintain discipline with my crew...this mission would be doomed! My head is on the line, too. (Clears his throat and says with authority)…I commend you for your zeal; you will have full access to the documentation on-line during the voyage. I need not remind you again that the A2000 is my vessel and I command a cohesive, well-disciplined unit. You will report back to the bridge in 775 ochnons for lift off and a comprehensive strategic assemblage. That’s a directive, Lieutenant, not a query!
Skwint: Aye, aye Colonel. (She whispers to Hotz as she passes) You may command this vessel, but I control this mission!

The trek to Earth put quite a strain on both Skwint and Hotz, but they were the vision of discipline throughout the voyage for the sake of the crew. Skwint spent many sipsips studying and maintaining feigned civility while developing strategy with the colonel. Hotz spent his few sipsips of leisure, meditating and divining the serenity of At-One for strength while he worked so closely with the lieutenant.

Skwint managed to annoy Hotz to the highest of “pissability” before entering her terra-transport destined for Earth. The degree of pissability became readily apparent to Skwint as her transport bypassed the landing point behind the village church by 15 quirtles and unceremoniously splashed down into the middle of the river.
http://i510.photobucket.com/albums/s350/sims2controlfrk/Day1.jpg
“Drack-nab-that-Hotz; he did this on purpose,” Skwint thought as she lifted her head from the water and peered out between the reeds. She flicked on the tele-cator and said in a hushed tone, “Lt. Skwint to vessel; the transport has landed and all is quiet…and wet.” It was 2 a.m. Earth-time, and raining. She correctly assumed that the inhabitants of this sleepy fishing village were sleeping. There was not a sound, other than the raindrops splashing into the river. “I will have no problem conquering the primitives, but further investigation is warranted,” she reported. Skwint secured her night-vision goggles and swam to shore.
http://i510.photobucket.com/albums/s350/sims2controlfrk/day5.jpg
Skwint surreptitiously made her way over the boardwalk. Though she wouldn’t admit it to Hotz, she felt a little vulnerable as she carefully darted between the streetlights. She was very waterlogged and thoroughly uncomfortable in her wet surveillance gear. The Al’BinoVanian rubber on the soles of her shoes squeaked. The old wooden boardwalk creaked with each footfall. The good thing was that the equipment in her bag was dry and secure. Discipline dictated that she maintained her composure; she was after all, on a mission of mercy for the best and brightest on her planet.
http://i510.photobucket.com/albums/s350/sims2controlfrk/Day6.jpg
“The mission is the thing. The thing is the mission. The mission is the thing…long live Al’BinoVa,” Skwirt sang under her breath as she took advantage of the rainy, pre-dawn hours. She transmitted scans to the vessel’s databank as she explored the small, empty, cobble-stoned commercial zone. The last report she received from the vessel indicated that the village’s environment was immaculate…”bummer”; however, the evidence of high volume fish entrails and odor would make the village a solid candidate for conquest, red fog, and thus colonization. Skwirt was elated at that bit of news. Invasion was imminent and victory would be hers.

Here's my rushed submission.

The day of my departure came, i felt really scared and nervous wondering what will happen next. i was already having second thoughts to back out. i wish father and mother was here, but no! father was preparing for my departure and mother was at work i guess im all alone here now, no backing out, no escaping. i really wish i didn't agree, but then i thought of my parents, if i back out i shall bring shame to my family and i don't want that to happen, i need to do this. as i think deeper Ail-ah came into my room, she was one of fathers mistress, we were pretty close. "here's your space suite." she offered me, i then flashed her a smile. i guess she got the hint and leaved the suite on my bed she then walked out of my room, then again i was alone wondering deeper, i then smiled and thinked really positive. i then got back my courage and decided to do it. i grabbed the suit and changed. i looked infront of the mirror, fliped my hair and took a deep breath. I then heard footsteps coming from outside to my room, the door opened and entered my brother domino, i haven't seen him for a long time. i got really excited to see him and gave him a hug. "why are you doing this?" he asked. i stepped away from him and turned around. "i also don't know" i replied back, "guess its in the blood." he said and laughed, he came closer and made me face him. "i have a gift for you" he said as he got something from his pocket, he then hand me a chip. "here's an I.C it will help you in earth, just press the four sides to activate. i got it from the lab." i then looked at him "you stole something from the lab?" i said confused, "its not stealing its borrowing, with out this it would be like suicide for you. you don't know anything about that place and your not even military trained. that chip knows everything about earth. it will help you" he replied, suddenly i heard footsteps, he then put the chip in my pocket and hugged me, two of the leaders came. "it's time." they said, Domino then smiled at me, i then followed the two leaders. "goodluck soldier" Domino said, i then flashed a smile and leaved.

I looked around as i walked towards the station, i was hoping mother and father would be there to greet me goodbye but i guess they were to busy. I then entered the ship, it was a transportation ship used by the leaders to go to other planets, i felt like i was a V.I.P, but i really didn't care. two force members came with me to drive the ship. i sat on one of the seats hoping everything would turn out fine, i then wondered what to do when i get to earth, what was the so-called mission all about, why me and why not them. all the questions was circling around me. my thought was broken when the ship started moving, i looked out the window and saw my father standing outside, i felt really happy and smiled. the ship then leaved the station, my courage increased seeing my father out there. the ship then flew out of our planet. as i looked out i saw many planets and many stars around, it was really fun seeing that there was life outside our planet, it was my first time traveling out of our planet and it was really exciting. "so are you scared of going to earth?" a voice asked, i turned around and saw that it was Ai-zen's brother, i didn't know he was one of the ship drivers, "hmm not really" i replied and smiled, it felt really awkward and i felt really ashamed. when his brother went missing i wasn't there instead i grieved in my room and never showed my face infront of their family. "so how's it been since uh... you know" he asked, i bowed my head and replied "its been ok." he then put hi hand on my shoulder "im happy to hear that." he said and leaved. i breathed really hard when he was gone, i never thought he would be like that. i thought he would be angry or something, but glad he didn't. a few hour passed and it felt like days as i sat on one of the chairs without no one to talk to, then one of the pilots came out. "we are already near earth" he said, i then stood up and looked out the window, earth looks really beautiful i then felt excited to visit it.

http://img55.imageshack.us/img55/9061/snapshot9731cc2d9732c0d.jpg

the ship landed on a very dark place with tall bushy looking things. "good luck!" Aizen's brother said, i flashed a smile and stepped out of the ship. the ship's entrance closed and vanished through the skies. i looked around the place it was really very dark not like our planet were there was always light, i felt really scared but i need to build up my courage.

http://img30.imageshack.us/img30/7539/snapshot9731cc2dd732d9a.jpg

i walked around but it seemed like there was no exit i tried another round but i still came back to were i landed, i then remembered the chip domino gave me, i pulled it out of my pocket and looked at it. "how does this activate again?" i asked myself, i then pushed one of the side of the chip and it glowed, i pushed another side and that side glowed too, i push the two remaining sides and the whole chip glowed, i then freaked out and threw it to the ground. the chip then started forming, after a few seconds it turned into little girl. "Hi! im A1-260" she introduced. "uh, yeah hi. im Mahin-ru" i introduced back. "looks like your my new master. so what do you like to ask" she said. "uh, were are we and how do we get out of here?" i asked her. "we are in a so called forest surrounded by millions of trees, there's an exit there" she said. "then i think we should get going, this o-called forest creeps me out" i said and we started walking towards the exit she pointed out.

http://img41.imageshack.us/img41/9563/snapshot9731cc2db732d79.jpg

as we walked the robot girl keep looking at me. i then stopped and looked at her. "yes?" i asked. "your suite. its beautiful" she complimented. "thanks." i replied. "its a c4 female suite, created 8 years ago" she said, "uh ok. but we gotta get out of here" i aid and we started walking. the place felt really weird for me, a we walked it felt like there were eyes looking at us. after a few minute of walking i then saw an opening up ahead. i was really happy and walked faster. we then got to an opening i wss really happy to get out if that place, suddenly i saw a blinding light coming from the distance, it came closer and closer until. "sounds of screeching tires"

I, D36 have been selected to travel and explore Earth. Oylians believe earthlings to be primitive and savage creatures that should be handled with extreme caution. As much as I was excited and eager to go, there was preparation work I needed to do in order to complete my mission and to stay alive….

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v124/Peeka/SC/aliensinc/PrepA.jpg

I had been told that the gravity on Earth may be much stronger than Oylus so I had to spend days in the CRONGRAVATRAP spinning round and round getting use to this part of the simulated Earth environment. Even though I had read and been told about what would happen, it still wasn’t what I expected. The first time I tried this, I was so sick afterwards. I felt like I was being crushed, it was hard to breath and everything just would not stop spinning - I could see four of everything! As well as suffering from quad vision and terrible sickness, I had many cuts and bruises from being thrown out of the crongravatrap. I did not recover for 3 days but knew that all this pain was worth it as I had been specially picked for this assignment. I could not fail. I am doing this for me and for Planet Oylus.

As well as being physically trained, I had to be mentally trained so that I could cope. I spent time with family, reassuring them that I would be safe and would return to them when the mission was complete. My family are so proud of me and my little sister D38 even made me promise to bring her back something called a ‘teddy bear’.

I studied harder than before. I needed to learn everything I could about earthlings and their world. I had some help from some great friends who quizzed me on things, explained habits and sayings that I didn’t know about and even told me rather scary stories that they have heard.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v124/Peeka/SC/aliensinc/PrepB.jpg

Friend A: Did you know that an earthling says ‘shoo flee’ you are in big trouble?
D36: No, why? What does it mean?
Friend B: You haven't heard?
D36: No…..
Friend C: When an earthling says ‘shoo flee’ you need to find them some food no matter what you are doing or where you are or they’ll eat you…..

I made a note to myself to remember that. I do not want to be eaten or be remembered for being eaten by an earthling.

****
The day that I had to leave Oylus for Earth came quickly. I had been told very little about how I was going to get to Earth or where on Earth I would land. I was only told specifically not to make any contact with any earthlings when I arrived.

A specialist team from Aliens Inc came to collect and took me to a large room that was completely white. In there middle of the room, there was a large and complicated looking machine.

Specialist A: D36 before you go, we need to run a body check on you. We don’t know what you might contract on Earth. Please can you lie on the Olyiscan 3000?
Specialist B:It will scan and record everything about you, right down to the tiniest molecule.
D36: Oyliscan 3000? I thought it was just a rumour that existed. Is this the only model? What can it do? I have never seen one of these before. Can I take a quick look?
Specialist A: Please. Lie on the Olyiscan 3000. We don’t have much time.
D36: Oh ok. Maybe when I get back then?
Specialist B: Please…..

I did as the specialists instructed. I lay down on the Oyliscan 3000. Blue and green lights started flashing and then everything just went black……The next thing I could remember was waking up, in an awkward sitting position with traces of blue and green light slowly fading away.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v124/Peeka/SC/aliensinc/ArriveA.jpg

D36: Argh..., my back! Where am I? Is this Earth? Why didn’t they just tell me that was the space transfer? I don’t know what was worse, this or the crongravatrap? Body scan my Oylian green butt….

It took me a few minutes to recover from my landing. I had a look around me. Everything was very dim but I could still see. The room that I was in was covered in reddish brown wooden panels with a light wooden floor as well. Hanging on most of the walls, there were square or rectangular objects with strange colours and patterns on them. They were all surrounded by a rope barrier and had some kind of light shining up on them. Could these be the cave paintings that I have read about?

I got up and started to walk very slowly whilst still looking around. I saw other objects. Large dirty looking grey and white rocks that had each had unique and distinctive markings and features sculpted into them. What were these things?

Next I wondered into another room. This room was very different to the first, the walls were white and on one there was lots of writing on it. A part of it was in a slight larger text and it read ‘ANCIENT CERAMICS’. I walked a bit further and again saw rope barriers, this time they were protecting some misshapen lumps in transparent cases. There were other objects with these lumps but these were not in cases. They looked like the same but more round or oval, defined and had a small or large (depending on big these lumps were) opening to them. Some there covered in patterns, some were just in one beautiful colour. These were never in the text books. What did earthlings do with these? Did they symbolise something?

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v124/Peeka/SC/aliensinc/ArriveB.jpg

I was fascinated with all the objects. It was a feast for my eyes. There was just some many different things to take in when suddenly I could hear a steady click, click, click, noise that was getting louder. Something was approaching. I had to hide but where? I had a quick scan around. There was an extremely large oval looking lump in the corner to where I was standing and so I quickly manoeuvred myself behind it so I could not be seen but I could see whatever was coming. My heart was pounding and I waited. The something was an earthling. It holding a small mobile light emitter and was wearing dark clothing with a hat that had some more strange text on it that read ‘SECURITY’.

What should I do now? How long do I have to hide……?

Okay I'm gonna post my Round 1 thingy anyway, and hey if you wanna delete it then go ahead :D I guess I was late even though it's only like 7:30p.m. where I live O_O
But yeah go ahead if you want to, just thought I'd give it a shot ^_^\

Round One:
Location of Landing: Mountains

Believe me after I got that call I thought I was going to die! First they called me into the "examination" room to see if I was fit for the mission. Apparently they had to re-do my entire look, cutting my beautiful long hair and everything. Then they put me in this suit that they said would be incinerated while I was landing through the atmosphere. When I asked if I was going to have a partner, all they said was that they were going to send her in another ship just in case mine blew up. How comforting. Anyway, here' s my new look.

http://i598.photobucket.com/albums/tt66/whatwedobest/snapshot_d72b3336_1732cf4e-1.jpg

After that they said I would have to standby and wait until they were ready for me. I AM ready though! I have been reading books about humans for years, training myself how to act like a human, and even learned about their mere minds. Yet, I have never SEEN a human, in person that is. They set me up with a hologram device that starting showing me humans dancing and playing by some type of large animal I have recognized as a rabbit, but that was too big for a rabbit...right? Anyway, my mind was on other things for instance who is my partner? Why would she go to Earth? Is this her first time? What is she like? What will happen when I get to Earth? Will I find Azul? Can I complete my mission of finding a new place for Sloomookoo to transfer to? Will my children and I be exterminated? What will the humans think of me? What's going to happen? Where will we land? Needless to say, I wasn't really paying attention to the holograms of humans.

http://i598.photobucket.com/albums/tt66/whatwedobest/snapshot_d72b3336_5732ce7d-1-1.jpg

Finally we landed! The feeling of flying through the air and having your suit burned off you is not a pleasant thing! The ship made a large cranking clash as it reached the ground. I quickly found the clothes they provided for me for the mission and changed into them. They had told me that a living space would be provided after we crossed the mountain. What is a mountain? I don't recall reading anything about them... Soon I met up with her. Her name was Kyna, and to my surprise she was on Earth for the same reason; to find her husband.

http://i598.photobucket.com/albums/tt66/whatwedobest/snapshot_b73737ac_573737af-1.jpg

Obviously she hadn't come on her own free will, but it wasn't the first time she was forced here. She had to come to Earth to fetch some important objects that could have let humans know of our visits we take. She said that this is the last time she is going to Earth, if she find her husband that is. She is a rebel and refuses to go with our legislature. I don't see why not, I mean, sure they did force me to come here, but then again wouldn't I have come here on my own free will sooner or later? She wasn't pleased when I needed to take rests. She kept saying things like, "How in the Sloomookooian world are you gonna find your husband if you keep slacking off!?" She certainly didn't seem to mind the cold weather, but I wasn't accustomed to this. She said after a number of visits you get used to it. I nearly froze twice!

http://i598.photobucket.com/albums/tt66/whatwedobest/snapshot_b73737ac_5737385c-1.jpg

By the time we got to the living quarters I was exhausted. Still she insisted on me eating, so I ate dinner with her. We talked about our kids. She said she had a beautiful daughter who was threatened to be killed if she didn't go on the mission. I told her about my twins at home. "Isn't it strange?", she said,"That Alien Inc. is sending the mothers of three out of six or seven children on the planet right now, where they could potentially die, and also threaten to kill the children?" I nodded in agreement and then went up to my hibernation bed. It was the only possible way I would be able to get sleep on this god-forsaken planet.

Your writing was very good and you certaintly have a nice writing style, but the pictures let it down. Firstly, I was confused because you didn't label your pictures. Secondly, you didn't have a body shot, you just had a picture of her on the course as a child. Thirdly, the pictures were repeatitive. I understand you may have been trying to get a message across with the first to pics but I feel you could have been more creative with the pics. Nice use of the military career reward, though!

I found your pictures... lacking. Apart from the last picture they had no real background, and were bland. I did enjoy your writing, though! I really like her back story, the writing was wonderful! Her expressions were really good but the backgrounds and the overall creativity of the picture lacks a lot. The room shot in particular. Many more thing could have been done, but you just took a picture of a wall with many windows. With a bit more work in how you decided to take your photos, you may have a winning team because your writing is very detailed. Also, I am not judging you on your content but I think a bit of custom content would go a long way. But again, this depends how you take your pictures.

Your alien is very beautiful and such a sad story. The last picture was especially touching. I love her facial expression! First off, let me say your aliens eyes are stunning. You story was very interesting too. Your backgrounds need work, there really wasn't anything identifiable in the background that shows her personality or is of interest. You did alright with the candles, it is just that they were too far spread out and that made it look unnatural.

A very cute entry, it made me giggle. Your backgrounds are a bit plain and really don’t match what your planet looks like in the shot. She however looks great against that wall, but the wall is too empty.

I must applaud you on entering a male Sim, you don't see too many of those. The expression are great, they really show him and the story is original. The only thing is the backgrounds. They do have something other than plain blue which looks great in the first and last shots but the middle has the corner that screams out of place. Otherwise, great job!

Well…okay then…I must apologise for S’lith’s behaviour and hopefully he didn’t offend anybody too much. I’m sure he’ll be fine, once he’ll had a nice luke warm lava shower and cold cocoa.

As before, this Round will have two parts to it. Continuation and First Contact.

Continuation: This will give everyone a chance to continue from where you ended your Round I entries. Three to four pictures are required for the Part I, detailing the events leading up to Part II.

First Contact: Again, this requires three to four pictures. As the title suggests, this is where your aliens really get to the nitty gritty - attempting to both explain yourself and issue a demand to speak to the Leader. Now the term Leader can be used loosely - depending on where your alien has landed, there might not necessarily be a Mayor or President in the typical senses of the term! And of course your alien must still be in the same area as when they first landed.

Picture Summary
Overall a minimum of six pictures and a maximum of eight.

Writing Requirements
A little bit more than last time - Eight lines per picture.

All deadlines are on the initial page of Aliens Inc, and will end at 10pm. :).

Uhm as you see Moraja is in a very... deserted enviroment. Would be okay if the "leader" was the person who previously owned the cabin?

Whatwedobest, absolutely. As I said, what can be defined as a "leader" is going to be different depending on where your aliens are. :).

Very good story the pictures were taken well. The plumbob was where you lost your picture points. You story also had a lot of spelling and capitalization errors. As far as the rules go, I want to note that one picture did not have enough sentences with one but you did have more than enough in the others, so I figured that would cover it. The deduction was however for the fact that you were seen. The car that almost hits you has a human and that human can see you.

My favourite picture has to be the last, with the crab - the first time I saw that one I LoL'd! And then the writing is such a nice contrast, because Alt is despairing of the situation. You have a great start to the main bulk of the story here. Finding out the description of the other aliens through Firsts thoughts and feeling was wonderful, and it translated very well. Your pictures were pretty good - and it's very amusing that the "correct attire" was obviously for far colder weather than a desert, despite the serious repercussions that might occur from such a mistake. A couple of close-ups on pictures may have helped; the first picture for example accompanied awesome descriptive text, but the picture itself just showed First standing up and staring at the newcomer from a distance. Keep up the good work!

You have a good start here, and an interesting premise for character development: A mother forced to abandon her children, under threat of death unless she travels to an alien planet unprepared and unequipped. And all with the secret intent on searching for her missing husband. And now she has found someone else, her new partner, who has been forced to undergo the same pain. Try delving a little more into Moraja's thoughts on the matter, because it seemed a little bit too rushed and scattered in parts. I do however, love how she was forced to alter her identity a bit - and the large bunny was hilarious.

Your idea of having the little helper with Mahin is a really good one, and it's going to be a lot of fun I think to read the interactions between the two of them; particularly with Mahin's reticence! You have a good premise going here, with Mahin wanting to do this to make her parts proud of her, but some of the writing comes across as a bit rushed. I haven't docked any points for this, but it would help the flow if you used capital letters where appropriate, and not all lower case.

After being attacked by that vicious sand animal, I retreated back inside to collect myself. I still have much to do and I cannot let one tiny little thing distract me from the bigger picture. As I wandered around the building, I began feeling pains in my abdomen, signaling hunger. I’d been so caught up in exploring and reporting, I forgot to eat! My planet, Arc, has practically the same climate as Earth, so I figured we would have close to the same types of food. I quickly located the kitchen and began searching for something to ease my hunger pains. Much to my disappointment, the cabinets and refrigerator were practically empty. I only found one frozen item that looked to be some type of all in one meal. Thanks to my research, I knew that the oven would heat it. I turned on the oven and placed the meal inside, hoping for the best.

http://i473.photobucket.com/albums/rr100/ktbcca/alien/kitchen1.jpg

Everything seemed to be going well. The meal appeared to be cooking nicely in the oven. I took a moment to use the washroom while it continued cooking but while I was in the facilities I began to smell something quite familiar. No, not bathroom smells! Smoke! I smelled smoke! I raced back to the kitchen to find the entire oven engulfed in flames. Panic consumed me as I screamed and danced about the kitchen. I looked frantically about for something with which to put out the fire, and thankfully, stored underneath the sink was a fire extinguisher. I quickly began dousing the growing flames and it was not long before they had subsided. My meal was, of course, ruined. Luckily, I found a can of vegetables hidden in the back of a cabinet. I decided to eat them cold, risking another fire was just too stupid to even consider.

http://i473.photobucket.com/albums/rr100/ktbcca/alien/fire.jpg

As I was eating, something dawned on me. Usually, when a fire occurs on Arc there is an alarm and a special force comes to put out the flames. Nothing of the sort happened here today. It was very curious, why wouldn’t they have some type of system to warn them of smoke or fire? Shouldn’t someone have noticed the bright blaze and smoke coming from the hotel? Earthlings never cease to amaze me. It’s as if they do not care if their loved ones or property is destroyed in some horrible accident. Okay, maybe I am getting carried away. Perhaps there is some logical explanation for why there was no warning system in place in this building. It is possible I am just thinking too much…the building is, as the sign says, under maintenance. So, maybe the system just needs to be installed. Once I get a chance to actually speak to their leader, I will find out for sure.

http://i473.photobucket.com/albums/rr100/ktbcca/alien/eating.jpg

There are many things I would ask the humans’ leader if given the chance. That night, before going to sleep, I began to make a list of everything I would ask him or her. Why don’t they have smoke detectors? Why is the water so hot in that huge tub? What exactly is this building meant for? What on Arc is that thing on the beach that assaulted me? They might be silly questions, questions my boss might not care to be answered…but they matter to me. If I am to find out how we are to take possession of this planet, then I must know all the ins and outs of Earthlings. After contemplating the answers and cleaning up, I finally settled in to bed. That night, I dreamt of dancing and fire and never seeing home again.

Spec Log: Entry Four
Location: Earth
Time: 1000 hours

This morning I was startled out of my sleep by a shouting woman.

“What are you doing in here? The rooms are not open yet! How did you get a bed? Go downstairs with the other guests! This is not clean! You cannot be in this room! Ma’am, please remove yourself and join the other guests downstairs!” She bellowed.

It took me a good thirty seconds to comprehend where I was and what was going on and understand what she was trying to tell me.

I replied, “Who are you? Can I speak with your leader please? I’m sorry if I shouldn’t be here, I am unfamiliar with these surroundings. Please take me to your leader and I will explain everything to them.”

She continued shouting, “Leader? Manager? He’s not here yet. Please go downstairs! There is nothing to eat, an unknown fire occurred sometime while we were closed, but you can enjoy everything else freely. Please go!”

I decided this was not worth the effort. She was obviously confused by my request. I gathered my things and went downstairs to find someone who might help me.

http://i473.photobucket.com/albums/rr100/ktbcca/alien/firstcontact1.jpg

Once downstairs, I was amazed by the amount of people in the building. It was completely deserted yesterday, what is going on here? I saw a crowd of humans on the other side of the room and headed over to determine if any of them could assist me. Loud music pounded from a speaker over head and the crowd seemed to be doing some sort of dancing ritual. They were all completely in sync and looked as though they enjoyed what they were doing. A woman on the edge of the crowd spotted me and began to laugh.

“So you got the seaweed treatment did you? Haha! My sister got that and her skin turned green as well! They really need to work on that don’t they? Haha! Wow, nice suit! Did you go snorkeling? I really should go…Hey! Why don’t you join us? You’ll have fun, I promise.”

“I’m sorry, I do not know the ritual…seaweed treatment, snorkeling?”

She ignored my response and pulled me into place next to her. There was nothing I could do but go along with it. I stumbled and swore as I attempted to follow the confusing steps. The lady only laughed and said I would get it eventually. Finally, another human caught her attention and I managed to slip out of the crowd unnoticed.

http://i473.photobucket.com/albums/rr100/ktbcca/alien/firstcontact4.jpg

I made my way to the front of the building; perhaps that large desk was where the leader worked? Once I got there, I found a young man standing around looking bored. I approached him,

“Excuse me, are you the leader? If not, can you take me to them? This is very urgent; I must speak with them right away.”

He replied, “Um, leader? Like…manager?”

“Yes, yes manager, if that is what you call it. Please, let me speak with the manager.”

“Yeah, uh, sorry, uh, he isn’t going to be here until later. Some meeting or something…”

I heaved a great sigh. This was not going to be easy. Nothing is ever easy on this planet!

“Listen, I’m not a guest here. I’m not what you think. This is incredibly important, it concerns the welfare of your planet. Please, tell me where he is,” I pleaded. The man gave me a strange look, muttered something about a crazy old bat and walked away. I wanted to attack his turned back right then and there. How could someone hear that the safety of their people is at risk and just walk away?! This man does not deserve to live for betraying his kin! But I held back. I knew I would have to be careful, they clearly outnumber me and I am not ready to give my life for this mission. I decided to do my best to blend in until I could reach their so called manager. Unsure of how exactly to blend in, I simply sat on one of the benches in the lobby and put my head in my hands, hoping I was invisible.

My experience thus far on this sandy world has been . . . different. Things just haven't turned out as I'd quite expected. All things aren't bad though, and I am adjusting. I've spent a whole day soaking up the sun rays. I'm not sure why, but it actually feels good to sit on the edge of the water, even though there's lots of sharp shells. I find that if you manage to find a spot without shells, that the sand is actually kinda soft, and really cool. I splashed around a bit, but I was still kinda too frightened to get in. Though splashing is actually kinda thrilling. Do humans do this for fun? Do they take trips to the water to splash? This is something I must find out.
http://i377.photobucket.com/albums/oo218/depposbournefan/ScreenHunter_01Jun091218.jpg
After, oh, I don't know, another hour of preparation, I finally got in to the water! Everyone at home should be proud. I actually managed to bypass the sharp shell shards trap and make my way into the constantly moving water! And . . . I have actually survived this; I've survived! I walked around for a while in there, but then I saw a huge swell of water coming. Oh no, I knew I had to get out of there. So, I did eventually make it out, however I did cut my toe on one of those freakin' shells. Gosh . . . I have still not figured out the exact purpose for those things. Alls I can figure, is that they are a warning: stay out of the water?!
http://i377.photobucket.com/albums/oo218/depposbournefan/ScreenHunter_02Jun091221.jpg
After my experience with the water, I decided it was time to move on. However, first I needed to rest, as I was super tired. Since it was day, and the water was way off the sand, I decided it would be safe to lay down in the sand on a bank. It was really hot. Seriously, no lie: hot. I could feel the sun start to burn me, but, I was too tired to move. Their sun, I have found, seems to make one sleepy. Is this another trap? Lay on the sand, fall asleep, and then get washed out by the water? What is with this place? It's like you risk your life just to supposedly, somehow, have fun? Well, I'm not exactly sure, but, once I make contact, I'm sure to find out!

I met a human today. Boy did I give him a fright! I think he wanted to scream and run away, but, curiosity caught up. Although he was still in shock, he still stuck around to see what I wanted. Boy, did I have a lot to tell him. I wasn't completely sure if he was the exact one I needed to ask, but, it was worth a shot. After all, shouldn't all earthlings know who their leader is? Well, I was about to find out if this one did, and I was surely hoping the answer was 'yes'.
http://i377.photobucket.com/albums/oo218/depposbournefan/ScreenHunter_04Jun091228.jpg
So, I started to explain myself. What I wanted was simple, and I wasn't about to let him go without it. So, I asked him about his leader. The leader, he said, was Mayor Nathan Deegan. Apparently this character is the head of the entire place, and lives close by, but there is someone, called a President, who is the head leader. However, this president figure doesn't live anywhere near, so, I decided Nathan Deegan would have to do. Deegan should be able to tell me what I came to find out. Atleast, I hope he can . . .
http://i377.photobucket.com/albums/oo218/depposbournefan/ScreenHunter_05Jun091229.jpg
Getting directions from this earthling was as bad as walking through shells. Go straight till you get to the Exxon, then turn left, then keep going until you get to a pink house is what I was told. Ok, I'm from Solarojo. What is an Exxon? Is this suppose to be a joke? I demanded for more presise directions. Miles, meters, anything but turn left, go straight, etc. But, he shouted back that he didn't know how many miles, he just knew where it was. How can you know where something is, without knowing the exact distance? This next journey, to the Mayor, shall be . . . fun?!

And of course your alien must still be in the same area as when they first landed.

hey, so can continuation be from the point of view of a human finding my alien (seeing as she kinda passed out)?

Considering the POV of the Human would, I assume, be all about what their thoughts are on your alien I'll allow this. :)

Yes, if it's necessary some POV's can be from the Humans, until the Alien has regained conciousness and said Human POV is focused on the Alien.

Hope my story and pics are better this round!

Continuation

http://i598.photobucket.com/albums/tt66/whatwedobest/0fireglow.jpg

When I left my hibernation cell I was frozen, literally.I climbed down the ladder as Kyna called me downstairs. I was tired, depressed, and cold. This has been the longest time I have ever been away from my kids. Kyna noticed at least that I was freezing.

"Here," she said, "Let me start a fire." I guess I didn't do enough research to know about fires. I was shocked when I started to sit in the flame when Kyna yelled at me. "No!," she screamed, "You'll die if you go in there, sit around it to get warm." I obeyed, still shaky from my near death experience. "Come sit with me," she said, "I need to talk to you about the mission."

http://i598.photobucket.com/albums/tt66/whatwedobest/0deprtalk.jpg

I slowly made my way to the table near-by the couch and sat down. What could she possibly know about the mission that I don't? I was worried. I didn't know this girl that well. Maybe she was tricking me so she could get back to Sloomookoo and leave me here.

"I can read your thoughts you know." she stated.

"What?" I asked surprised, "Only the highest members of council and the royal family have that power!"

"Well remember when you were in training when you were a child, how they said a human came to our planet and killed the newly-born princess?"

"Yes," I said quietly taking this in, "I was about three in Earth years then. It was a big castrophe! The council started to think about taking over Earth and sending people like us to go in secret. I knew about that because my dad was sent there and never came back."

"Well that was a lie." she cut in, "The head council member wanted a reason to take over Earth and so he put me on the streets when I was born. After I had Kli, my daughter, he found me and started making me go on missions.", she sighed, "I thought I should tell you this because once they start sending you here, they won't stop until they have this place taken over. That's why we are here, to see if Earth has resources we can use to inhabit here."

I looked at her shocked, "Wait, what?" I stuttered, "I thought I would come here and leave, never to come back! I thought that they would just take part of Earth not the whole thing!" I gasped, "How long exactly have they been testing this planet?"

"Well years, before you and I and probably your father was born," she sighed."I'm sure you know about those 'peaceful' visits when we moved to Sloomookoo from Slamaki, zillions of years ago. They weren't peaceful. Some aliens came to live here, if they looked enough like the humans, but all of them went insane. It's really sad that the legislature would hunt them down and do that."

http://i598.photobucket.com/albums/tt66/whatwedobest/0vangoghstarry.jpg

I walked over to a painting on the wall. It looked just like Sloomookoo did when we has a view of night.

"It is," Kyna said interupting my train of thought, "He was one of the early aliens to come here. The government found him and made him insane. Apparantly he is very famous on Earth even though he is dead. That picture is called 'Starry Night'."

I looked once again at it. How much did I not know. I was so naive and stupid! Why did I believe the legislature!? I can't stand this pain. This is all in vain. I hope I find him, or I'll just die. I can't go back without him! I can't face that world alone again!

Suddenly I heard human voices!
"Mommy, is daddy gonna come with the beds soon? I can't sleep on the floor!" a little human child said.

"Yes honey, you know nobody has been here for, oh, about 50 years! Everything in here is so old! I doubt they even have decent plumbing!" a grown woman's voice said.

Oh no! The voices are getting closer. Soon the humans were at the door.

First Contact

http://i598.photobucket.com/albums/tt66/whatwedobest/0firstcontact.jpg

Oh my! Humans didn't look much like they did on the hologram! The woman kept screaming and saying we were devil creatures. I didn't really catch EVERYTHING she said, but obviously it wasn't good judging by the look on Kyna's face. You see, I am not human-language literate. I do know a bit of English, but not much. The only things I got out of her words were 'devil', 'creature', 'die', 'leave', and 'punishment'.

"STOP!", Kyna yelled in English. The woman looked at her in amazement and fainted on the spot. "Oh dear, what have I done now?" she muttered.

"Mommy! Mommy! What have you done to her! Daddy where are you!", the little girl cried. I felt like crying myself. She reminded me of how far away I was away from my kids.

"Calm down," Kyna said softly,"We wish to see your leader. Can you tell me where he is?"

"L-leader?", the girl sniffled, "Y-you mean D-daddy? He's outside, coming with our beds. Pl-please don't hurt him!" The sight was almost to hard to look at.

http://i598.photobucket.com/albums/tt66/whatwedobest/0faintandgo.jpg

"Moraja," she said in our native language, "Go out and get the leader. I must stay here to control the children and explain to the female why we are here, if she wakes up."

I nodded and started to head out the door, "Hey Kyna, move the female to the couch and build another fire to warm the children, it's really cold." Then I walked out the door.

Where could this leader be? I got ready to climb another long journey up the mountains. I was so depressed. All this work and research of human's has done nothing! I couldn't speak to them, I couldn't relate to them at all! That little girl looked at me with horror in her eyes. Oh did she have such beautiful blue eyes, so small compared to our huge ones! I missed Azul, and my children.

http://i598.photobucket.com/albums/tt66/whatwedobest/0meetingleader.jpg

By this time I was nearing the top of the mountain I saw a human figure approching me. I got frantic! How was I supposed to explain anything to him!

Oddly though all he said to me was, "I knew it!" and then rambled on so fast I could not catch many words besides 'alien' and 'abduction'.

"C-calm! Take to house!" I said, trying to express the urgency in my voice. He looked at me in wonder and seemed dazed until I said, "Female and children help!" This was becoming very trying for me. I really should lean this troublesome language.

His face turned an even paler white at the mention of the female and children. He grabbed my hand and started running toward the living quarters in the far distance. My feet hurried to keep up with his surprisingly fast pace.

http://i598.photobucket.com/albums/tt66/whatwedobest/0comingin.jpg

We didn't get into the cabin until dark. When I walked in I was utterly shocked. The female was sleeping on the couch while the child was warming herself and Kyna was hugging the younger one.

"Kyna!" I yelled. She looked up and quickly pulled herself away from the younger child. A guilty expression filled her face as she put her down.

"Moraja, I see you have returned with the leader," she said in our native tongue. The male human ran up to his wife, kissed her, then went to his children. He was hugging them and asking them if they were harmed.

"I don't know why you are here, or what you want, but I suggest you never touch my children again," he said slow enough for me to understand. I could tell Kyna was stung by the insult. Her face was filled with sadness.

"Very well," she said, obviously being slow enough for me to understand."I guess I should first explain to you, the leader, before I involve others in our affairs."

Continuation...

Lt. Skwint continued exploring the streets of the fishing village for two more Earth hours. She steathily made the circuit, scanning the small shops and businesses. Everything appeared in shades of gray, blue, and green as she peered through the len of the night vision goggles and the rain; but Skwint sensed that her surroundings were quaint and beautiful.
http://i510.photobucket.com/albums/s350/sims2controlfrk/Continue1.jpg

She smiled inwardly as she thought, "Red fog is really going to make this place the center of great Al'binoVanian intellect." She felt that she had learned enough during her initial exploration and started looking for a place to hide her terra-transport. It was safe in the shadowy river while it was still dark and rainy, but its light coloration would be a stark contrast to the murky depths in the light of day.

She ventured down a back street toward the river, lured by the strong stench of rotting fish, and found the village's old fish processing plant and warehouse. She checked the olfactometre dial on her scanner and was surprised to find the stylus waving wildly. "Wow...OL = 2(Pi) x The Square Root of Z/87...the glorious stink is off the scales! Good, good..." She'd found the source of an important ingredient needed to produce a healthy red fog...the sustainer of Al'BinoVanian intellectual livelihood.
http://i510.photobucket.com/albums/s350/sims2controlfrk/Continue2.jpg
Skwint beheld an old, abandoned boathouse among the tall reeds a few septuplets to the left of the warehouse. She quietly waded through waist-high plants and muddy water to the decrepit structure, smiling as she thought, "The High Disciplinarian and maybe even old S'lith himself will dedicate these structures to me. They will name this place "General Skwint the Conqueror Museum of New Al'BinoVa" and Al'BinoVanians will tell stories of how I conquered this primitive little fishing village and transformed it into the great place of intellectual destiny..."
http://i510.photobucket.com/albums/s350/sims2controlfrk/Continue3.jpg
She touched her tele-cator and spoke quietly: "Lt. Skwint to Vessel..."
Colonel Hot-ee responded, "Well, it's about time you communicated, Lt. Skwint. The Earth star rises in one-and-a-half sipsips. You need to find a place to refuel and re-energize. Time is of essence; you need to commence the downfall of the village primitives within the next 48 sipsips."
Skwint groaned and said impertinently, "I'm fully aware of the timetable, Colonel. I've found a good place to hide my transport. As usual, I'm 5 steps ahead of you..."
Hotz released an audible sigh and said, "Lieutenant, your insolence will only serve to delay the mission. You are aware that discipline dictates that the mission is the thing..."
"Affirmative and I'm sorry," Skwint said as she fought to reign in her annoyance. "I'm guiding the transport to this dinky little boathouse as we speak...I'm running on empty, so I'll refuel as soon as I secure my transport. But, there's no way that I can re-energize until I get the first batch of fog-orbs manufactured. I plan to deposit the fog-orbs in the strategic locations that I scouted earlier...and then I'll find the leader of the primitives to issue the final ultimatum."
"Very well, Lieutenant," Hotz responded very colonel-like. He cleared his throat and continued remorsefully, "uh, Skwint...my predisposition for impractical misbehavior triumphed over my sworn allegiance to self-discipline. I express contrition for directing your transport into the river."
Skwint was taken aback that Hotz had it in him to apologize. She answered with newfound respect, "It's nothing, Colonel. I'm trained to expect the unexpected...your act only strengthened my resolve to conquer this village for my planet."
Hotz responded, "Very well, Lieutenant, carry on...and Skwint...be careful. Over and out!"
http://i510.photobucket.com/albums/s350/sims2controlfrk/Continue4.jpg
Skwint secured the transport and settled down among the old crates and barrels. She opened her refueler to grab one of the bland, but nourishing rations and found instead a plate of delectable chocolate treats. "Oh Hotz...you remembered how much I love chocolate!" were her first thoughts, quickly followed by, "Drack-nab-it, Hotz...a disciplined combatant travels on her stomach...she needs nourishment that replenishes her brain processes, fires her agility, and sustains her through battle; not frivolous chocolate that only serve to warm the cockles of her heart!" She devoured the chocolates with relish, licking the icing from her pale fingers as she operated the extractor, infusing the fog-orbs with the delightful odor of dead fish. Skwint re-energized for 4 Earth hours. After meditating and divining the sanction of At-One, she committed an internal cleansing and an ion shower. She dressed in the apparel that D-Geek had provided, threw a few fog-orbs into her bag and set out for the village.

The village was bustling with townspeople and a busload of tourist, on their way to somewhere-else-more-important-than-the-village, in tuned to selling their wares and shopping for bargains. They paid little attention to the silver alien with the big, floppy hat and oversized designer bag as she planted the fog-orbs. Skwint had the distinct feeling that she was being followed. Per her training, she stopped suddenly and whirled around to find herself knee-to-face with a pint-sized primitive so ugly that it was absolutely adorable. It had ghastly rosy cheeks and big eyes that peered at her curiously behind a pair of big spectacles.
http://i510.photobucket.com/albums/s350/sims2controlfrk/Contact1.jpg
"Hello," the ugly cherub said. "Do you work at the carnival?"
Skwint was perplexed as she tried to process the query. As she shook the arachnid-webs from her mind, all she could think to say was "Uh...take me to your leader?"
The ugly cherub's face registered confusion as it stood blinking up at Skwint. A smile suddenly spread across its rosy face and quickly turned into a tiny chuckle. "You're funny. I like your face paint...are you a face painter? If I can get my Mom and Professor Kirkham to bring me to the carnival will you paint my face just like yours...boy, the kids will think I'm way cool if you painted my face like that..."
Skwint frowned as the creature rambled on about face painting. It didn't have the most intelligent face that she'd seen, but it was certainly enthusiastic about this concept of face painting. She interrupted the incomprehensible blathering with a wave of her hand and demanded a little more forcefully, "Take me to your leader!"
http://i510.photobucket.com/albums/s350/sims2controlfrk/Contact2.jpg
The little boy shrugged before replying, "Well, my mom is working an extra shift at the processing plant and Professor Kirkham is supposed to be watching me...he's my mom's boyfriend, though she says he ain't...he's really weird, you know...and everybody's always saying that Mom only puts up with the loony-toon 'cause he helps pay the rent and buys us grocery with his mental disability check...Mom lets him kiss her on Saturday nights...ew, kissing is yucky...she says there ain't no other single men in the village good enough for her...anyway..."
Skwint put up her hand to halt the progression of unintelligible communications spewing forth from the rosy little mouth as his eyes danced behind the oversized spectacles. She heaved a heavy sigh and asked, "Is this...Professor Kirkham...your leader?"
"I guess he is until Mom comes home...but..."
Skwint spoke slowly in an effort to get through to the urchin "Would...you...take...me...to...him?"
"Sure...he's down by the river looking for UFOs..." he said as he turned to lead Skwint to the river. "See I told you that he's weird...says he saw a UFO crash into the river last night with his giant telescope...everybody says that he could've spent his money on something more worthwhile than a giant telescope...you know...like a fishing boat or something? He says that he's been to outerspace with aliens and that they are his bestest friends and that they are coming back to the village for their summer vacation...and that they might go fishing or something and that I could come along too...but Mom says that I can't...oh...my name is Scotty..."
http://i510.photobucket.com/albums/s350/sims2controlfrk/Contact3.jpg

It was midday and the village was already hot and humid, thanks to the rainy night in the midst of summer. Scotty led Skwint to the river, retracing the steps that she'd made in the early morning hours. Nobody seemed to notice that a young boy was talking nonstop with an alien in a big, floppy hat, no less a stranger with pale silver skin. Perhaps it could be attributed to the fact that Skwint's patience was on trial as she followed along, and just like most primitive adults, wore a stressed out expression on her face. At the riverbank, Scotty ran ahead to hail the professor. Skwint hung back, partially concealed in the weeds, to assess the situation and to gather both her thoughts and the overall takeover strategy.

Professor Kirkham impatiently rowed his boat to shore and scolded Scotty for the interruption. Skwint stepped out into the clearing with her laser-ray drawn and forcefuly announced, "Skwint, Lt. Level 5B Jjm8Kll, High Disciplinarian Corp of Order...the mission is conquest now and forever, resistance is futile...long live Al'BinoVa!"
Professor Kirkham rubbed a hand over his chin and yelled, "Is this what you interrupted me for? I have far too many important things to do than to play Martians and Earthmen with you and your playmates! 'Resistance is futile'...gee whiz, can't you kids think of anything original to say or do? Right now, conquest would be an exercise in futility. I've got a UFO to find..."
Skwint growled and repeated, "Skwint, Lt. Level 5B Jj8Kll, High Disciplinarian Corp of Order...the mission is conquest now and forever, resistance is futile...long live Al'BinoVa!" She then added, "Professor Kirkham, you are the leader. Tell your primitive subordinates to flee or prepare to meet their demise in a glorious propagation of red fog for the victorious sake of my planet. I now claim this crappy fishing village and dub it New Al'BinoVa!"
"Pish-pash...everybody knows that Al'BinoVa is dead...Chaos destroyed that red gas-ball years ago. It's now a dull beige...I guess you can say that Chaos licked the red off of their candy! Now, enough of this...run along now and play with someone else," the dauntless professor shrieked.
As he turned to walk back to his boat, Skwint aimed the weapon at a patch of weeds growing beside the rowboat and fired. A crater about 2 feet in diameter formed and quickly filled with river water. The professor stared as a small pool formed and nervously rubbed his chin again before saying, "Okay...you got my attention. Now what was it you were saying?"

Good Luck Everyone! I had lots and lots of fun!

There I was hiding behind the big lump slightly panicking. Thoughts were racing through my head. I had to calm myself down. I couldn’t stay hidden here forever. I had a mission to complete. Everyone was counting on me and importantly I am a scientist! I needed to go out explore and gather data, not hide in the corner somewhere of a unknown planet!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v124/Peeka/SC/aliensinc/ContA.jpg

I had already been tricked in the way I was transported to Earth. I now needed to think quick on my feet. I quickly accessed what was happening. I could carrying on panicking and wait for the earthling to find and eat me or I could get myself out of this pickle.

The earthling was further away that I initially thought or was it was taking a long time to come near to where I was. I took a quick peek over the big green lump, careful not to move it as it was standing on a raised but small platform. The earthling was drawing closer. It was stopping every now and again and swinging the light emitter left and right as it was searching for something. I ducked back down. The situation was easy. All I had to do was wait and the earthling will pass straight by me. It wouldn’t even know I was there if I remained hidden.

The earthling was drawing closer and I could begin to see more clearly what it looked like. My first sighting of an earthling! It was very strange indeed. I needed to take mental notes. From my research I would work out that this one was male. Apart from the dark clothing, it had pale peachy pink skin, green eyes and yellow looking hair. I didn’t think there was nothing remarkable about this one. It looked pretty much like any other Oylian but of another coloured skin. It could walk on two limbs, make use of the other two in different manner. It was appearing to be looking and processing what it could see, access if there was any danger or attention needed. Most importantly it didn’t look hungry so I don’t think there was any chance of me being eaten.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v124/Peeka/SC/aliensinc/ContB.jpg
The earthling finally approached and passed me. I quickly sneaked out from behind the big lump and took my chance to tiptoe in the opposite direction of the earthling.

I managed to stealthily wander into a completely different room than I was in before. This was dark, both the walls and floor were of stone and all the furniture looked old but very elaborate and in a reddy orange wood. There was a big sign that read MEDIEVAL TIMES. From what I could remember, this was a fairly popular period of time in written history for royalty and their life. The only thing that really stood out was a tall shiny metal looking thing that looked like the form of an earthling but did not move when I walked towards it. I tapped the front of this metal form and waited. Nothing happened. I took a closer look. It had nothing in it. It was like it was metal shell or some kind of protective clothing. I was relieved. I sat down on a chair.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v124/Peeka/SC/aliensinc/ContBa.jpg
The feelings of panic started to come back to me and questions started to form. How did I get myself into this situation. Was I actually ready for this? Did I take too much on. What had I done? How would I get back to Oylian? What am I specifically supposed to even do here? I knew the point of the mission but what exactly did my people want to know?

It wasn’t long before I could hear the clicking foots steps of the earthling again. I needed to act quick. I looked around me. There wasn’t really anything in the room big enough to conceal me apart from the shiny metal suit I was looking at. I realized that it was about the same shape size that I was. I would need to hide in it and pretend I was the suit. Though it was difficult I managed to squeeze myself into and stood very still. I reminded to myself to remain calm and that I could handle this.

The earthling came into the room, scanned the room like he had with the others, walked to where I was and stopped. He was inches away from me. I was hoping that it was just treat me as another part of the objects in the room. I could see him look at me with great curiosity. It could tell something was not quite right or was I overestimating it? It was just about to walk away when it happened…….a big and loud gurgling sound erupted from my stomach. The earthling froze. It knew something was definitely wrong then. I lifted the opening of head contraption and clutched my stomach.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v124/Peeka/SC/aliensinc/FirstA.jpg
The earthling stumbled backwards and tripped on its own feet. It managed to quickly prop itself up slightly, one arm up and finger pointing up at me, eyes wide with shock and splutter some words.

Earthling: W..w..w..ww..what are you?! Wha…what do you want?
D36: Why….why? Why…does this have to happen at a time like this?
Earthling: W..w..what’s that noise?

The earthling was obviously more scared of me that I was of him so I felt like I could take control. I needed to sort my stomach out first and fast. I hadn’t eaten since before the night of the space transfer as I was expecting an in flight meal. The last time I went hungry there were horrible consequences and I could not let it happen again. I took a step forward and went for a direct approach.

Earthling: St…st..stay back.
D36: Its my stomach. Its running on empty. You need to take me to your leader. I need to replenish my nutrition reserve?

The earthling look at me with a confused face. Maybe it didn’t understand me. My stomach would not stop growling. It was getting louder by the minute. I tried again speaking slower using key words and with hand gestures to show that I needed to eat.

D36: Nutrition….replenish….leader…

The earthling paused for it bit. It seemed to be thinking of something. Its eyes were darting every so slightly to the left and right.

Earthling: Food…?

The earthling nodded and seemed to understand. Maybe they arent as stupid as we thought them to be as this earthling was understanding and adapting quite quickly. It repeated my ‘eating’ movements and stood up from the floor. It motioned me to follow him. I got out of the metal suit and followed.

I was taken to a very small room. It had boxes to one side of the room, a table in the corner with two small machines, a botanical life form in and lots of smaller objects. The walls were had some sort of shelving with more objects, some being very ornate and what looked like books. The earthling pointed to the chair. I took this as to sign for me to sit on it. The earthling then rummaged around and somehow magically produced a plate of something in front of me.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v124/Peeka/SC/aliensinc/FirstC.jpg

Earthling: Here, eat this. It’s a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Just eat it. Its good and it will stop that hungry stomach of yours.

I tentatively picked up the sandwich. It was very soft and very light. I took a sniff of it. It smelled like an Oylian herb. I took a small bite. It was sticky, smooth and I had to chew quite a bit but It was good, delicious in fact. In the background I could hear the earthling pick up and tapped the small machine on the table. It would appear that the earthling was communicating to another earthling.

Earthling:Ms Croftfoot. You have to get down to the museum straight away. Something has happened. We have an intruder.
Ms Croftfoot: …
Earthling: No, no nothing has been stolen and no the authorities are not on their way.
Ms Croftfoot: …
Earthling: Yes, yes, I know I am supposed to call them but I cant. I cant explain it. You have to come down to see it for yourself first. I have seen nothing like it before…
Ms Croftfoot: …
Earthling: We’re both in the office and its eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
Ms Croftfoot: …
Earthling: This IS serious and yes I am aware it’s the middle of the night! I wouldn’t be calling you if it wasn’t! You are the curator of the museum and I am sure you don’t want anyone else to hear or see of this first. Just make your way down here now.
Ms Croftfoot: …
Earthling: Ok. Bye.

The earthling and I stayed in the small room in awkward silence but the earthling was very interested in me. It would pace up and down of the extremely small room whilst still looking at me with curious eyes. Every now and again it would attempt to touch me but then stop. I was equally as interested in him and to who he was taking to before? Was it the leader who I asked for when I needed some food. What would happen now?

A short while later, the door to the room started to open. It was another earthling entering the room but it was very different to the first one.

Ms Croftwood: Oscar…?

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v124/Peeka/SC/aliensinc/FirstD.jpg

This earthling was female. Was she the leader? She had the same colour skin as Oscar but she had long wavy brown hair and amazing deep blue eyes. She was beautiful and I couldn’t help but smile at this creature.

I don’t think I had the same impression with the female earthling. Her eyes became very wide, her mouth dropped open and a very high pitched sound came from her. Shortly afterwards her eyes fluttered and her whole body slumped to the floor. Oscar lunged towards her with his arms open to catch her.

Oscar: Ms Croftfoot….! Are you ok? Ms Croftfoot? I knew this was going to happen. I bet you didn’t expect that did you? When the Sim News find out about this, they are going to have a field day. I don’t think anything can top this.

I had no idea to what was happening but I sure did want the female earthling known as Ms Croftfoot to wake up. I wanted to know more about this earthling.

Unlike previous parts, Step III will not require two parts - so it's a little less complicated in the respect! Quite simply, this time is the chance that your aliens have to try and fully detail why they are on Earth - any side, personal missions that your aliens have can also be shown here as well. As detailed in the above Communication, your aliens must contact - or try to contact - their home planet and inform their bosses that the Final Stage is almost ready.

The only stipulation is that, at the very end of the entry at least one of your pictures must show either scientists turning up, or the mysterious black suits...

Picture and Writing Requirements
These will remain the same as last Round!

Picture Summary
Overall a minimum of six pictures and a maximum of eight.

Writing Requirements
A little bit more than last time - Eight lines per picture.

Spec Log: Entry Five
Location: Earth
Time: 1800 hours

http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm155/SophieraEQ2/alien/round35.jpg

Finally, after hours of waiting the manager was available. He led me into his office with a confused yet intrigued look on his face and instructed me to sit down in the chair next to his desk.

“So, what’s going on here? I have been informed that you caused quite a disturbance,” he asked.

“I am terribly sorry for any problems I may have caused, but you will soon understand that it is for good reason. You see, I’m not human. I’ve come from a planet called Arc, my leaders wish to take control of Earth.” With this, he began laughing hysterically.

“Sure, sure. And when are the other little green men going to get here?” He asked condescendingly.

http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm155/SophieraEQ2/alien/round36.jpg

“Listen, Sir, you would be wise to take me seriously. Your planet will be taken over by my race; there isn’t anything you can do to stop it. But there are things you can do to make it less painful,” I told him. “If you are unable to handle this knowledge, perhaps you have a superior who can deal with it?”

“Lady, I’m a hotel manager. If you are threatening the existence of the human race you better talk to someone much more important than me.”

“And who might that be?”

“The President, the United Nations, I don’t know. But I can’t help you.”

“Can you direct me to how I may contact them?”

“No. Google it,” he said, cracking a smile. I sighed and slowly stood to my full height, attempting to look intimidating. The man did not budge from his seat and the smug smile did not budge from his face. It was hard to hold myself back, I wanted to punch the stupid man. Leaving the office, I thought to myself how incredibly stupid human beings are. Maybe they don’t deserve this beautiful planet after all.

http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm155/SophieraEQ2/alien/round33.jpg

My next plan of action was to attempt to contact Arc. The only tool for communications I had was my computer, but without being connected to the Arc communications line I had no idea what I could do to send word to them. I had seen telephones throughout the building but couldn’t be sure if I could get through to my planet using them. I began wondering the intelligence of my own people. If they could leave me stranded here with no possible way to contact them how smart could they really be? How successful did they really think this mission would turn out to be? In the end I knew they are all I have so I shook the thoughts out of my head and set off to find a way to get in contact with my leaders. I had some training in technological systems, maybe I could rig something up.

http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm155/SophieraEQ2/alien/round34.jpg

I approached the large telephone in front of the building and studied the various buttons. It looked as if each button had several characters assigned, but I was unsure how to access each individual character. I had seen pictures of Earth’s telephones in my research, but never got a chance to train on using one. It looked like trial and error was the way to go. I gingerly picked up the receiver and put it to my ear. A monotone ringing coming from the phone startled me. I collected myself and began pushing buttons, hoping to get some sort of clue of how the device worked. After about twenty minutes of attempting various combinations and having no luck, I gave up. It would be utterly impossible to contact my planet, the only thing I could do was wait for them to contact me.

http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm155/SophieraEQ2/alien/round31.jpg

I did not have to wait long. The deafening sound of helicopter blades announced the arrival of someone important. It was only when I saw the black hair and green skin of my people did I realize just how important. It didn’t click until a few minutes later that they arrived on a helicopter, meaning they had already been on Earth for at least some time. I was enraged that they could be here and not offer to help me on my mission. This whole thing was so unreal to me. I thought my people stuck together! I thought my people were united and caring. I can see now how wrong I was.

http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm155/SophieraEQ2/alien/round32.jpg

The Arcions exited the helicopter one by one. They were dressed in black from head to toe and even though I could not see it, I knew each one was carrying a deadly weapon. They could be nothing other than the famed Special Secret Service. They were leaps and bounds ahead of my unit, the Covert Forces. If they were already on Earth, why send me? I was quickly losing faith in my people, my patriotism was slipping away. The men began to walk towards me; I could not decipher the expression on their faces. It could be one of glee or hate, it was impossible to tell. I knew I had been unsuccessful in my mission, and I knew they knew that. What if they had come to get rid of me? And all these people who saw me? I had to make a choice right then and there, run or be captured.

The saga continues...

Scotty was highly impressed with the ‘trick’ that Skwint performed with the laser-ray and marveled at the crater as it filled with groundwater. The professor stared as a small pool formed and nervously rubbed his chin again before saying, "Okay...you got my attention. Now what was it you were saying?"

Swint responded, “Which component did you not comprehend? I detest repetitious expression! That young…er…Scotty expressed that you are the leader of this village, so I implore you, by all that is intellectually superior on my planet, to evacuate your subjects or you all will meet your timely demise!”

“Intellectually superior, my right foot…! If you had half the brain that that lad’s irresponsible mother has, you should’ve figured out that I am not the leader. No wonder Chaos reigned superior over that bleached-out planet of yours,” the grumpy professor responded.

“I would annihilate you for that insult, but that would be counterproductive!” Skwint said angrily. “At least you finally comprehend the spirit of my strategy, Professor! You indeed are the newly deposed leader! Long live New Al’BinoVa!”
http://i510.photobucket.com/albums/s350/sims2controlfrk/1-1.jpg
“No, no, no…” Professor Kirkham said with an impatient shake of his head, “The villagers say that I’m the ‘Head Flake’ and I’ve got certified papers to prove it! Now, if you think for one minute that any one of the villagers or anybody else on this Earth are leave their homes without a fight then you, Lt. Skwint are the ‘Head Flake’.”

“That’s exactly what I’m communicating! You are no longer ‘Head Flake’! I am! The serenity of At-One commissions us to display compassion to our captives; so I’m giving you an opportunity to gather your citizens and flee this village. Or you can just choose to remain and face certain annihilation!”

“Yeah, you’re right…I’m no longer the ‘Head Flake’ around here,” the professor patronized with a snicker. “Of course, this is not the time or place to discuss annihilation and such. It’s lunch time and if I don’t feed young Scotty, there won’t be any snuggle-time with his mother…now that I think about it, I can use a bite to eat, myself...”

“But this is not the time to re-fuel! You need to assemble your subjects and issue the warning!” Skwint stamped and whined.

“Pish-pash…we will discuss this so-called annihilation over cheeseburgers and colas,” the professor said flippantly. He yelled over to Scotty, who was gleefully splashing in the water-filled crater, “Time to head over to Old Joe’s! Will it be cheeseburgers or chocolate cake today?”

**********

http://i510.photobucket.com/albums/s350/sims2controlfrk/2-1.jpg
At first, Skwint was beside herself, but she followed the professor and Scotty up the weeded path and through the center of the village to Old Joe’s Bar and Grill. The cockles of her heart grew cold as she thought of Hotz “blowing a gasket” over her actions. She could already hear the tirade that would flow from his pale lips. He would throw a well-disciplined tantrum when he found out that an officer from the Corp openly socialized with primitives. But, she continued onward anyway, becoming excited with the change in strategy that she was now using to conquer the primitives. The accolades would be of grand proportions. She was trained to expect the unexpected and in her mind, straying from the set strategy would prove to be more rewarding in the long run; especially since chocolate cake was involved. Lt. Skwint found comfort in the knowledge that she was in charge of the mission, not Hotz. She had total control.
http://i510.photobucket.com/albums/s350/sims2controlfrk/3-1.jpg
Professor Kirkham, Scotty, and Skwint sat at table on the deck overlooking the river. Skwint felt vulnerable for the first time since mingling with the crowd at the market. The professor ordered cheeseburgers and colas for Scotty and himself and a large slice of chocolate cake for Skwint from Old Joe, himself.

Old Joe jokingly commented after he took the orders, “So Kirkham, I see that you’ve finally found your ‘alien’. I guess you’re pretty excited with the carnival in town, huh? They’re really playing up the ‘alien theme’ this year. Shucks…the heat ‘s sure gonna melt all that makeup your friend’s wearing.”

“That’s not make up, you ignoramus; she’s the real thing!” Professor Kirkham shrieked as Skwint growled. “You should be a little more courteous to our extraterrestrial friends!"
Skwint tried to concentrate on the exquisite flavor of Earth chocolate as it melted in her mouth, while the professor hunched over his cheeseburger, slurping and smacking as he devoured every charcoal-broiled bite. The oversized burger did nothing to prevent Scotty from talking incessantly about Skwint’s laser-ray weapon and the crater stunt he’d witnessed. The lack of table manners was certainly reason enough to wipe the Earthly slate clean of the primitives and settles it with a more deserving species. Skwint closed her eyes to avoid witness the bizarre lack of courtesy at the table.

After 3 large slices of chocolate cake, Skwint yawned and contemplated the merits of a 15-ochnon-power-regeneration. The tele-cator vibrated and snapped her back to reality. Hotz was monitoring her coordinates and was probably upset that she’d settled in one place for too long. Quite frankly, the chocolate coursing through her system warmed the cockles of her heart and she really didn’t care what he thought at that moment. However, she was a conscientious combatant and she needed to continue the mission.

She needed a strategy to get back to the original strategy; so without much strategy wasted, Skwint announced: “Time is of essence. I must re-commence the mission of total conquest for New Al’BinoVa. Professor, you need to evacuate your subjects! My transport is equipped with a satellite dish. You will enter my terra-transport and issue the decree to flee or die via the broadcast satellites that you primitives have placed in orbit. That way you will reach the audience outside of this village, too. I may as well ‘fog-up’ more than this dinky little village while I’m at it.”

“I’ll enter your terra-transport to take a look at your technology, but I will not issue a decree of any sort. I’m not the leader…” Professor Kirkham said continuing his stubborn stand as he leaned back to pat his tummy.

“At the risk of repetition, which I deplore…I know you’re not the leader…you’ve already been deposed. Except for the sake of the serene At-One, I’d melt you into the miserable puddle of humanity that you are. But discipline dictates that the mission is the thing and your demise at this time is not the thing,” Skwint said with a sleepy wave of her hand.

“What exactly is this mission-thing that you keep harping on, Lieutenant?” Professor Kirkham asked as he picked his teeth with his ketchup-encrusted thumb.

“I’m sure it’s beyond your comprehension, but I’ll try to explain it as we travel to the transport. Time is of essence, you know.”

**********

As the trio walked from the center of the village toward the fish processing plant, Lt. Skwint gave a brief explanation of her mission:
http://i510.photobucket.com/albums/s350/sims2controlfrk/4-1.jpg

“The mission is to colonize this village with the best and brightest Al’BinoVanians. It’s nothing personal against you or human-kind. We require red fog to perpetuate our intellectual processes which is essential to Al’BinoVanian survival into infinity. Your planet, with its holes in the ozone layer and its abundance of wonderful variety of pollutants is conducive to the propagation of our intelligence through layers of red fog. Al’BinoVanians battled and defeated Chaos, but Chaos’ penchant for disorder and lack of intellect remains. It’s slowly and vigorously inhaling the glorious red fog that surrounds my planet and everything is becoming quite clear. We, as Al’BinoVanians are evolving into a bunch of fickles. Some are even resorting to such bizarre behaviors as thinking in terms of ‘green’, which clashes horribly with the redness of our beloved fog. This ‘green’ consumes the fog micron by micron. We will commence our life saving strategy by overtaking this village and all its fishy glory in an aggressive promotion of intellect and to establish New Al’BinoVa. This village will be the center of Al’BinoVanian intellect.

“Resistance if futile; the strategy is already in effect; you cannot diffuse it or in anyway contain it. I can only offer you, the former leader, an opportunity to evacuate your subordinates or face certain obliteration. Your kind cannot survive the glorious red fog. Your short-term future is guaranteed, though…elsewhere…producing more pollutants and nourishing our fogs. In the long-term, you will self-destruct, while we of highest intelligence perpetuate now and forever more.”

Skwint led them to the left side of the processing plant/warehouse and took a quick look around to see if anyone was watching. She quickly led the Professor Kirkham and Scotty through the mud and reeds to the abandoned boathouse and into her terra-transport.

**********

The interior of the transport had plastic-like white walls and flashing lights. There was a contraption filled with blue spheres that looked more like a stack colorful, plastic storage boxes. There were two blue and white swivel chairs occupying the space three steps away from the contraption, and a large, plasma-like monitor, surrounded by large white lights in front of dual consoles. Skwint dropped her bag and the floppy hat on a counter by the door, going straight to a remote control device to touch a series of buttons, while Professor Kirkham and Scotty looked around in awe.

The screen scrambled and popped with black and gray pixels while the audio snaps and crackles. After a couple of Earth seconds, the screen displayed the visage of Colonel Hot-ee peering at the trio with unadulterated irritation registering in his clear blue eyes.
http://i510.photobucket.com/albums/s350/sims2controlfrk/5.jpg
“Lieutenant Skwint…! Where the…what the…I’ve been desperately attempting to communicate with you…” Colonel Hot-ee began, only to be interrupted by Skwint.

“Lt. Skwint reporting, Colonel… two-thirds of the mission is completed.”

Scotty said with total excitement, “This is a great, big video game machine. What games do you have? I want to play. Can we play…please…please…I’ll let you win…boy, this is so cool…I like your camper; I want one like this! Mom can’t afford one on her salary…Professor Kirkham will you buy us a videogame camper? What happens if I touch this button?” The professor wisely grabbed the little boy’s hand and gestured to him not to touch anything.

“Skwint… that is a primitive! What out of this world…I’m actually seeing primitives in your transport…”

“Colonel Hot-ee, this is the former leader and he’s a prisoner-of-war. I have brought him and one of his smaller minions to the terra-transport so that he can publicly decree to his primitives to flee or face their own demise by satellite,” Skwint announced with unsuppressed pride.

“I am not your prisoner-of-war, Lieutenant!” the professor yelled in defiance.“And for the last time, I am not the leader!”

“Sit, Professor! Of course you are not the leader! I’m the ‘Head Flake’ and you are my prisoner! Resistance is futile, remember? Sit down and shut up! You will speak to your subjects in just one sipsip! Your reign as leader is over…long live Al’BinoVa!” Skwint screeched.

“I will not sit down nor will I shut up! You have one raw nerve to think that I’ll take orders from the likes of you…you pollution-craving, obsolete, daughter-of-a-half-witted-laser-ray! Earth will never be taken! You thought Chaos was a something; well just imagine what we can do to you with our nukes! We’ll blast you and that chrome dome on the other side of that monitor out of our world!” Professor Kirkham spat out, crossing his arms over his chest in a defensive pose.

“SKWINT…!!!” Hotz screamed from the monitor.

“You will sit your posterior sector in that seat and prepare the speech of all speeches to your subjects! We will telecommunicate it by satellite to all of your primitives in one sipsip! The chronographic display is clicking! Time is of essence! You now have less than 36 sipsips to leave or die! The choice is yours as the deposed leader, Professor!” Skwint argued back, with her hands on her hips.

“Quiet, Skwint! It seems that we’ve been detected by the space station and we will have to flee…I mean…soar to the dark side of Earth’s Lunar Unit! We will need to terminate communications to keep you safe. Contact the High Disciplinarian at 555-34A-18-397LP for reinforcements! I can’t believe that you tainted your transport with those nasty primitives! Where’s the discipline, Lieutenant?” Colonel Hot-ee asked with despair.

“I’ve captured the leader, okay? Look Hotz…Colonel Hot-ee…I’ve got this! Go on to the dark side of the lunar unit. I’ll launch the final third of the mission after I get reinforcements...for you,” Skwint said with confidence.

“That’s good, good! Complete the mission for Al’BinoVa…and for me! Commence the final third…NOW!” Hotz commanded before the monitor fizzled.

The communication with the vessel ended and though Skwint held her composure, her mind was spinning out of control. The events, as they unfolded, were not part of the mission and in no way part of the strategy. She thought, “Drack-nab-it! Now, what was that number…?” Skwint realized that the professor and Scotty were watching her curiously. So she cleared her throat and said as cordially as she could, “Uh…where’s my hospitality? Please have a seat, Professor…Uh…I’ve got to phone home…I’m sure that we can reach a compromise that will allow me to complete my mission?”

“A compromise…? My right foot, Lieutenant! Your time is up. If THEY have detected your mother ship, then more than likely, THEY have detected you! Like I said, Earth will never be overtaken! Go ahead…phone home you, E.T…tell your precious Al’BinoVanians ‘good-bye’. To quote the great Klingons of Sci-Fi television: “Today is a great day to die…” THEY know everything about everybody…even a stupid alien who thinks she can single-handedly conquer this pathetic little fishing village,” Professor Kirkham said with a sinister laugh as he took a seat. He seemed elated to watch the scene play out from a front row seat, while a bored Scotty wander over to look at the colorful buttons on one of the consoles.

Skwint touched a series of buttons on the remote control device and received no response on the monitor. She ran over to the silver orbed pedestals and rotated both of them 500 degrees counter chronographic-wise and then hurried back to touch the buttons again. All that she could produce was an audible to the High Disciplinarian.

“Lt. Skwint to the High Disciplinarian…”

“Lt. Skwint, don’t tell me that you completed the mission...and in record time. It’s just as I calculated,” HD answered proudly. “That’s why you were chosen…you’re a great combatant…you've saved our heads!”

“Hotz is under attack…” Skwint said with urgency. “Send reinforcements…dark side of the Earth Lunar Unit…save Hotz! I am commencing the attack…post haste!”

http://i510.photobucket.com/albums/s350/sims2controlfrk/6.jpg
Before the High Disciplinarian could respond, a loud crash and two loud thumps, following a softer thump sounded from the top of the terra-transport. Two dark-suited men in dark glasses burst through the door of the terra-transport and held Skwint at bay. A woman dressed in a dark suit and sensible heels stepped through the door, next. Though her visage was innocuous, she was brandishing ominous weapons in both hands.

The woman smiled triumphantly at Professor Kirkham as she spoke, “Good job, Boo-Boo! This is the real thing this time! You’ll get a kissy-kiss on Friday and Saturday night this week!”

“Mom…?” Scotty said with surprise. “What are you doing here?”

The lovely Miss Croftfoot finally came round. Oscar had sat her on the chair in the office and was fanning her with what looked like an open book.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v124/Peeka/SC/aliensinc/UltAa.jpg

Oscar: Are you ok Miss Croftfoot?
Miss Croftfoot: Urgh…what happened? Oscar…I thought I saw a green looking alien not long ago. I must be seeing things and overworking myself.
Oscar: Nope, you did actually see a green alien. We both did. You screamed and then fainted. In fact, our green friend is still here. It's just standing there in the corner. Surprisingly, it hasn’t attacked us but it does keep looking at everything with great interest, especially you.
Miss Croftfoot: What?! You mean I didn’t image it? I’ve got to think....think, think, think. We need to do something quick. We can't let anyone know.

The two earthlings looked at me. The moment was awkward. I wasn't really expecting them to be so calm and rational after such a short space of time. Back on Oylus, we were told that earthling reactions were like animals. They either fight or run away. Neither happened in this case apart from the initial shock.

Miss Croftfoot stood up and began to walk about the small office, muttering to herself and occasionally firing questions at Oscar. Eventually she walked out of the room and into the first gallery room that I landed in. Oscar followed her and I followed them as I was eager to see what they were doing. This strange human behaviour was fascinating and the speed to which they can adapt to situations was truly amazing. There were lots to learn and observe. The scientists on Oylus would be very impressed!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v124/Peeka/SC/aliensinc/UltAb.jpg

Miss Croftfoot: Oscar, what do you know about the alien? Why is it here? What does it want? Are there more of them? Is it an invasion? Who do we call about this? Will people think I'm…you know…a bit of a quack?
Oscar: Woah..woah…Miss Croftfoot!
Miss Croftfoot: Please…call me Daisy.
Oscar: Ok. Daisy. I don’t know…I haven’t asked any of these questions. I don’t even know if it understand us or even I understand it if it can talk!?

They both looked at me again with the realisation that I was still there, looking at them. I could understand everything that had been said which was odd. The Specialists must have done something to me whilst I was being transferred/scanned in the Oyliscan 3000. That was the only thing that could explain it.

Daisy: Ok. Lets try asking it some questions then. At least it’s a start. Do…..you…..under…..stand….what…I…am…saying…?
D36: Yes, I do. I have understood everything that has been said so far. In answer to your questions. I am D36. I am from a planet called Oylus, millions of light years of travel. There is no way you will be able to get there with the technology I have seen so far. As far as I know, I am the only one from my planet here so no, its not an invasion however as part of my mission, I need to learn about humans and if Earth is a suitable for sustaining life for the people on my planet. At the moment its looking quite promising so there is possibility that this could be an invasion to which no one can stop or it'll end in their demise.

Both earthlings were again shocked and looked at each other with their mouths open. They obviously understood me.

Oscar: *whispers* Did you hear that thing…?
Daisy: *whispers* Yes, we need to get it out of here. We can't have it stay in the museum.
Oscar: *whispers* It's talking about invading us.
Daisy: *whispers* I’ll hide him at my place . It's not far from here. You try to contact the relevant alien people or authorities without sounding like you’re complete fruit loop. Try not to be obvious about it though ok?

Daisy: Ummm….D36. I need to you to come with me. I’m going to take you to my place. The reason for this is that…well, this is a museum and lots of people, I mean earthlings come to visit during the day. I don’t think they are ready to meet you yet. They…umm…might not be so understanding. We need to prepare them a bit if you don’t mind?

I decided to agree with Daisy. These earthlings were civilised but others may be true savages and needed to be educated.

Daisy led me outside of the building which in fact was enormous and was a great sight to look at. It could rival the Oylian Palace. We walked down lots of steps and towards a four wheeled machine which I learnt was a car and it was parked not far away. Once inside the car, Daisy used some kind of small stick to make the car roar to life and we were on our way.

The journey didn’t last very long and we soon stopped outside another building which was much smaller but was very pretty and quaint looking.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v124/Peeka/SC/aliensinc/UltH.jpg

D36: Is this what you earthlings call a house? Do they all look like this?
Daisy: Yes, this is my house and no, not all houses look like this. The basics are the same but they come in vary shapes, sizes and style depending on who is living there.
D36: What about the botanical life forms that you have there? What are the purpose of those?
Daisy: Urmm…you mean the garden? The plants and flowers? Well I am sure they have some kind of purpose but for me they are there to enhance the house, compliment it or just to something pretty for me to admire.
D36: I don’t quite understand what you mean but I will take note of this and report back to my professors and fellow scientists.

Daisy motioned towards the house and the front door. Again she used some kind of small stick but slightly different to the car stick and the opened the door. I went inside and was greeted by lots of white coloured furniture and lots of green walls. The house was sectioned of into areas. The part that I walked to had some big, longish and possibly comfy looking seats.

Daisy: This is the living/dining room. This is where I eat or sit and relax. Over there is the kitchen where I cook food. That door over there leads to the bathroom and that one to my bedroom where I sleep. You stay here for a moment. I will get you some clothes to change into.

Daisy walked into the room that she called the bedroom. I took this opportunity to explore the house. I wondered into the section that was referred to the kitchen and was surprised to see a Oylimitter. How did earthlings have this? How did know they about it as well? I decided to see if I could contact home or Aliens Inc.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v124/Peeka/SC/aliensinc/UltD.jpg

I quickly tapped in the codes on the key pad and began my voice message.

D36: Aliens Inc, Aliens Inc. D36 reporting to Aliens Inc. Am I getting through to you? This Oylimitter should give you my the exact location. I have successfully landed on Earth. I have not yet been able to confirm if Earth is a viable planet for Oylians but I have come into contact with two earthlings so far. These earthling don’t seem as primitive and savage as we thought. I will continue to explore and research. Please relay what you wish…..

Before I could finish, I was interrupted by Daisy who seemed very confused.

Daisy: Were just talking to the microwave?
D36: Micro…wave?
Daisy: Yes…that is used to heat food?
D36: Oh…is this what this device is?
Daisy: Yes, it’s a microwave. I have put the clothes in the bathroom. Please can you change into them. You can't wear what you are wearing now. These will make blend in more.

Daisy pointed to the bathroom to remind me which room it was again and then sat down on the one of the big seats in the seating area. I walked to the bathroom and shut the door behind me. As Daisy had said she had left some clothing there. There was some kind of checked shirt, a pair of grey/white trousers that went so far up the body that there were some arm holes. A blue hat and some black eye wear. I was about to get changed as asked of me then stopped. I wasn’t quite sure how the items were actually worn. Did the shirt go over or under the long trousers. Did the eye wear need to cover my eyes or could they just sit on top of my head with the hat over it or did the hat need to be under it? I was very confused. I needed some help from Daisy. I opened the bathroom door and headed back to the seating area.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v124/Peeka/SC/aliensinc/UltBb.jpg

Whilst I was gone, Daisy had turned a small square box that had moving and talking pictures of earthlings. I had never seen one of these before. What did this do? Was it another form of communication device. I walked over to a quick peek and noticed that Daisy wasn’t actually watching the small box. She had fallen semi consious. She did looked tired. Was this some kind of delayed shock that was catching up with her? Was this known as sleep? I didn’t really know but it was interesting to look at her in this state and my chance to find out about sleep.

The sleep observation was very long. Earthlings do spend rather long periods of time in this semi conscious state. With Daisy, I noticed that she would occasionally mumble something. No matter how hard I tried, I could not understand her. I think this is called sleep talking.

Morning came. The surroundings outside became very bright and clear to see. The natural light was nothing like on Oylus. Was this because Earth was near the sun which we did not have? The temperature was good too. This would be a great benefit to the Oylian race. We would not have to the endure the extreme hot and cold which would also mean that we could freely travel from one part to another without danger. The Earth was becoming more and more ideal.

Eventually Daisy woke up. She looked recharged and didn’t look so tired anymore. If this the power of sleep?

Daisy: Oh..D36, I fell asleep. Sorry. I guess there was just too much excitement for me. Why didn't you get changed? Did they not fit? The clothes belonged to my grandfather and he was about the same size as you.
D36: Yes…about that….I…urm need a little bit of help. I am unsure how the combination goes. I am not familiar with this kind of earthling attire.
Daisy: Combination…? You mean how to wear it? Its very simple. I’ll quickly show you.

I was soon dressed in the earthling clothes. They felt very odd. Why did earthlings need this many layers of clothing? Was it absolutely necessary?

I decided to take another look outside as now we had daylight. I could take another assessment to whether Earth was a worthy planet.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v124/Peeka/SC/aliensinc/UltJ.jpg

I stepped into the back garden. There were beautiful and colourful botanical life forms everywhere. I could now understand what Daisy meant by ‘pretty’. Suddenly I could hear some rustling noises. Out from behind some hedges came two earthlings, one male and one female, both in white coats and holding some kind of observation device. From another part of the garden came another two earthlings. Again one male, one female but this pair were wearing black suits and the similar black eyewear that I was wearing.

Female White Coat: This is the alien. It was no hoax. This is confirmation that there is life outside of Earth.
Male White Coat: I have been observing it and so far it has not done anything out of the ordinary.
Male Black Suit: The civilian?
Female Black Suit: She is safe. I have arranged for transport to take her to head office.
Male White Coat: How do you want to handle this?
Male Black Suit: With extreme caution. I believe it had intentions of invading Earth. We cannot let that happen.
All: YES SIR!

Who were these four people? What did they want? Where did they come from? What is this head office?

The Final Confrontation is finally here! For the most part, what happens during this Round is entirely up to you - S'Lith has given you your official orders, but whether your aliens actually decide to follow your standing orders is entirely up to you. You must find some way to get away from the techies or Suits, and that's the only stipulation. It's resolution time!

Picture and Writing Requirements
These will remain the same as last Round!

Picture Summary
Overall a minimum of six pictures and a maximum of eight.

Writing Requirements
A little bit more than last time - Eight lines per picture.

As always the Round will end at 10PM GMT, unless extensions are requested and the end date is on the initial page of the Contest Thread. :).

Spec Log: Entry Six
Location: Earth
Time: 1900 hours

http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm155/SophieraEQ2/alien/r41.jpg

The Special Secret Service agents walked deliberately towards me. I could not make up my mind whether to stay and reason with them or flee for safety. The latter would be difficult to accomplish since I was on a foreign planet where I was unsure that any safety for me even existed. Plus, I’m usually not the type to run. I needed to stand up to the agents and do what I could to protect myself. This situation brought me back to my days in Dred, the city I loved so much. Living on the streets had always brought trouble my way and I always managed to fight or talk my way through it. Although I was in enemy territory, completely out of my comfort zone, I stood my ground.

http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm155/SophieraEQ2/alien/r42.jpg

“Greetings, I am Tal of Arc. Please state your name and purpose,” one of the agents said to me in a demanding tone.

I replied, “I am Alt Spec of Covert Forces. I was sent to this planet to study the humans and plan a possible take-over.”

“Ahhh, I see,” Tal answered back, “And have you completed this mission successfully?” I was absolutely sure he already knew the answer, already knew who I was, and had come to get rid of me. Arc is mostly a friendly and peaceful planet, but in the military things are a bit different. I knew sensitive information; they couldn’t have me going around telling humans or Arcions things they shouldn’t know.

“I think you already know the answer.” I responded bravely.

“You’re correct. Because you have not been successful we will need to send you to our facilities here on Earth for a memory cleanse. You will then be transported back to Arc and assigned a new task if you superiors see fit to do so.” My heart began pounding rapidly at this statement. If they administered a memory cleanse on me I would not only forget my time here on Earth, I would forget my entire life! Our technology is not yet advanced enough for selective memory cleansing. I couldn’t let this happen. My memories shape who I am today. My experiences make me strong. I couldn’t let them take me. With that, I turned quickly on my heel and sprinted away. Looking back I know it was a stupid thing to do, they could have easily shot me down right then and there, but for some reason, they let me go.

http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm155/SophieraEQ2/alien/r43.jpg

I ran, and I ran, and I ran. The buildings, signs, and trees flew past me as I darted down the street. I looked over my shoulder countless times but never saw the Arcions in pursuit. They will probably just destroy me with the rest of the humans. I thought to myself. I didn’t let the idea get to me though. My only goal was to get somewhere safe, somewhere they couldn’t find me. Soon, I was out of the town and nearing a dark jungle. I slowed down, unsure where to go next. To my left was the ocean, to my right and in front of me sat the dense jungle. The only way was forward. Looking over my shoulder one last time, I began to jog towards the forest when suddenly I slammed directly into a solid object.

http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm155/SophieraEQ2/alien/r44.jpg

“Whoa! Hey there, slow down!” exclaimed the object. Well, not an object, but a human being, a male to be precise.
“Oh, sorry,” I mumbled. Clearing my throat embarrassingly I turned to my right and began jogging again.

“Hey wait! What…I mean, who are you?” The man asked curiously. I stopped and turned around slowly, thinking quickly of what to say in response.

“My name is Alt.” I said simply. And then added, “I’m not from around here and I can’t seem to find my way…” I trailed off, not knowing where exactly I was trying to find my way to.

“Not from around here, huh? I could tell! You look like one of them, er, aliens people always talk about. I never thought you folks came around these parts, but here you are right in front of me!”

“Well,” I replied cautiously, “I am foreign to this planet.” The man seemed trustworthy enough, and he was really the only help I thought I would ever run into, so I said, “I’m escaping my own people. They want to take away my memory. And I believe they are looking to destroy all humans on Earth, so that they might colonize the planet. I…we need to get somewhere safe. If we are hidden well enough they may not take us.” The man stared blankly at me for what felt like an eternity the finally said,

“Wow. Okay then, my cabin is very well hidden inside that jungle there. I have plenty of food for months to come. I will take you there. We’ll be safe, I promise.” I couldn’t tell if he thought I was insane and was just humoring me, or if he really believed what I told him. Either way I took his offer and we started off into the jungle together.

We walked for a couple of hours, sweat dripping off our faces from the heat and humidity of the thick rain forest. Eventually, we came upon a small, wooden cabin tucked neatly in the trees.

http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm155/SophieraEQ2/alien/r45.jpg

“Welcome home.” The man said kindly. “Oh, and by the way, my name is Jonathon. You can call me Jon.”

“Thank you, Jon.” I responded.

He led me inside his cabin. As soon as we entered, the pleasant scent of wood and fire entered my nose. An excited dog raced up to Jon, barking and panting with its tail wagging wildly. He bent down to the dog and scratched it behind the ears and kissed its nose.

“This is Charlie.” He told me. “He’s friendly, so don’t go being scared of him.” I nodded, unsure of what to say. Jon suddenly had a look on his face that meant he has just come to some great realization. “Hey! Does that suit of yours have any sort of tracking device thing? I mean, do they know where you are all the time or what?” I could hit myself for forgetting this fact. Before I left Arc I was told never to remove my suit while on Earth because it would help them locate me at all times.
“Yes,” I replied. “It does, we should get rid of it.”

“Alright then. I got some stuff that might fit ya, it's some of my mom's old stuff, if you don't mind wearing it that is. Can’t really have you walking around stark naked can we?” He said, blushing.

“No, you’re right about that.” I said, laughing. Jon gave me some clothes that fit well enough. I changed as he went behind his cabin and began building a bonfire.

“We’ll just burn it, that’ll be good enough, you think?” He asked as I joined him.

“Well,” I answered, “It’s flame resistant. So no, I don’t think that’ll be good enough.”

“Well then, why don’t we tie a rock to it and throw it into the ocean!”

“Great idea,” I replied. And we did just that.

http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm155/SophieraEQ2/alien/r46.jpg

After returning to Jon’s cabin, we decided to make use of the bonfire he built and roasted some hot dogs. I told him all about my life, from beginning to end, and he was simply amazed at the things I had experienced. I learned that he grew up in this very cabin; his parents had passed away a few years ago. He told me that we were in a place called Florida and that specifically, we were near the Everglades. The words Florida, and Everglades sounded so beautiful to me compared to Arc’s harsh names like Dred, and my own name, Alt Spec. This really was a place I could get used to. I smiled at Jon, and he returned the smile. I knew I had found a friend, a true friend, in Jon, and whatever happened I would always have his kindness, generosity, and his friendship.

Conclusion:

The Arcions searched fruitlessly for Alt for several days before giving up. Soon after, the head of the government in Arc called off the colonization of Earth, citing insufficient funds. Alt and Jon lived happily together in Jon’s cabin and eventually grew to love each other. They had two children together, named Jonathon Jr. and Specria. The family lived blissfully in the cabin for the rest of their days.

The saga continues…

“Mom...? What are you doing here? I thought you had to work an extra shift at the processing plant? Where did you get the new clothes…you look pretty! Is that makeup? I like it when you wear makeup…”

“Scotty...? Kirkham, what in the world were you thinking? You do realize that you’ve endangered my baby! For Heaven’s sake…this is a ‘frikkin’ alien space craft!” Scotty’s mom yelled.

“Ain’t it cool, Mom?” Scotty asked with child-like enthusiasm.

“Now, now…calm down, Muffin…” Professor Kirkham said calmly. “What are you doing here? Surely, to goodness you’re not an agent with...”

“Shush...we’ll talk later!” the mother hissed. Then through clenched teeth, she said loud enough for all the hear, “How many times do I have to tell you not to call me Muffin outside of home?”

“Maureen…the lieutenant is ‘relatively’ harmless. She’s just showing us around…that’s all,” the professor said timidly.

“Yeah, Mom…the lieutenant is with the carnival and her camper is a great big ol’ videogame box! It’s ‘sweet’ ain’t it…don’t you think so, huh?” Scotty said with excitement. “Hey, Lieutenant, when are you going to paint my face?”

Lt. Skwint first gave Scotty a look of confusion and then glanced around at the black-clad ‘goons’, for a lack of a better description. She thought, “I do not comprehend this ‘face painting’, but I comprehend a bad situation when I sense it…” She tried to get herself mentally ready to take on the opponents at hand, but she could not concentrate. She was still lethargic from eating too much chocolate cake.
http://i510.photobucket.com/albums/s350/sims2controlfrk/4a.jpg
“Honey there ain’t…isn’t going to be any face painting today…okay? Now, why don’t you and Kirkham go on home? It’s almost time for you to watch TNG,” Maureen said as calmly as she could muster. She turned to the professor and seemingly looked through him as she whispered, “Take Scotty home, right now! I’ll deal with you later!”

“Aw, Mom…do we have to…? This is more fun…” Scotty whined.

Maureen glared at the professor who instantly snapped to attention. “Your mother’s right, Scotty...I can’t wait to see what the Borg are up to...” He pushed Scotty toward the door. Just before he exited the terra-transport, the professor turned to Lt. Skwint and said, “Peace; may the Force be with you…live long and prosper…I sincerely hope that THEY grant you a little mercy.”

**********

Skwint groaned and turned her attention to the Scotty’s mother and her goons. She said, “I am now the ‘Head Flake’! I command that you and the primitives of this pathetic village evacuate. Flee or face your certain demise. The red fog will commence in 30 ochnons. Time is of essence!”

“Lt. Skwint, the only creature going anywhere will be you! We do not take kindly to anybody or ‘anything’ invading our planet! Grab her Harrison!” Maureen shouted.
http://i510.photobucket.com/albums/s350/sims2controlfrk/4b.jpg
A well matched battled ensued. Maureen and her other goon, Irving cheered Harrison on. But when the Skwint started getting the best of Harrison, they both dove in to lend their companion some assistance. Skwint was an expert in combatant-to-combatant battle. She utilized her feet as skillfully as she used her hands. The scene was reminiscent of the old “Batman” series from the late 1960s. BOOM! …POW! …But her terra-transport was just too small to fit in the BAM! Maureen and the goons were as relentless with their mission as Skwint was with hers. Eventually, the chocolate cake pulsing through Skwint’s cardio-vascular system started to weigh her down and Irving was able to render her unconscious.

**********

Maureen and her goons whisked Lt. Skwint away to their secret facility via helicopter. They made a long, circuitous journey over the river, through the wood, and beyond the seaside resort, just to end up in the basement of the fish processing plant. Skwint had been out for an indeterminable amount of time, when she woke up disoriented. The room was dark and overwhelmingly fish scented. She’d had vague visions while unconscious that were still swirling through her brain.“Where am I…the mission…I’m on a mission…the mission is the thing and the thing is the mission…Long live Al’BinoVa…Mission, conquest, superior Al’BinoVanian intellect…fog…RED FOG…New Al’BinoVa …General Skwint…! Great Serene At-One…I’m on a mission...It’s imperative that I complete the mission!”

When Lt. Skwint made a move to escape, Maureen flipped the switch to a giant overhead light. Skwint found that she was surrounded by a host of goons. She also realized that she was wearing a white uniform of some sort and sitting in some sort of dental hygiene contraption…and she’d be “dracked-nabb-it” if there weren’t a tray with scalpels, scrapers, and other sharp shiny tools waiting to be used…on her, no less! Also, it didn’t help her feel any better that there was also a large jar looming ominously to her left. “Did I hear the words “Alien Dissection” or was I dreaming?” was Swint’s next thoughts.

“Welcome to our lair, Lieutenant,” Maureen said in a tone that one would use to invite guests into her parlor for coffee and teacakes. “I believe you’ve met Harrison and Irving…well, this is our wonderful helicopter pilot Wanda, and agents Bertram and MacKenzie. Say hi, people…”

“Skwint, Lieutenant Level 5B, Corp of Disciplinarians…the mission is the thing and the thing is the mission. Your demise is imminent…resistance is futile…long live AlbinoVa!”

“Whatev…look, here’s the ‘real’ thing…there will be no invasion, conquest, or termination on my watch. But, thanks for serving as my first ‘real’ alien captive. Our specially trained mechanics are taking your little spacecraft apart as we speak. Oh, and when the space patrol captures your mother ship, who or whatever is aboard will join you, too. We can’t have you homesick, now can we?. Until that time, we have a few questions that we request the honour of you answering,” Maureen purred. “If you will, I’d like to introduce you to the Tickle Machine. It’s state of the art as far as interrogation technology goes. Kenzie, if you will…”
http://i510.photobucket.com/albums/s350/sims2controlfrk/4d.jpg
Kenzie pulled a lever and the machine sent tiny tickle sensations through Skwint’s body. The alien captive giggled girlishly. The goons proceeded with the interrogation and with every unacceptable answer came another jolt of tickles…and, the only answer that Skwint was willing to indulge was her name, rank, and serial number. Thus, Skwint spent a great part of the interrogation giggling so cute and infectious that the compulsion soon spread to the goons.

**********
After 1 ½ Earth hours of guffawing and hee-hawing, Maureen ordered the interrogation to cease and sent Skwint into the laboratory for a thorough physical examination. The technicians took urine specimens, blood samples, and tried in vain to find hair to pluck. Skwint was pinched, poked, and refusing to be prodded when she heard the unmistakable sound of a smoke blaster and people running in the corridor. She was tired and achy, but took the opportunity to punch the lab technician just as the door burst open emitting clouds gray and black smoke…and Colonel Hot-ee.

“SKWINT!” Hotz yelled as he blasted smoke at everything and anything that was moving.

The lab technicians grabbed test tubes, charts, and files as they scampered toward an emergency door. The punch-drunk lab technician rushed Skwint, intending to take the alien captive on the run with her, but Skwint had other ideas. The lieutenant, feeling a rush of AlbinoVanian adrenaline, kicked the tech soundly on the chin.

Maureen and Irving were on Hotz’s heels as he entered the laboratory. The colonel hit them both with one swing of his smoke blaster, sending them sailing across the room, knocked out cold. He grabbed Skwint’s hand and tried to drag her out the way he came in, but she would not budge.

Instead, she shouted, “Hotz, what are you doing?”

“I’m rescuing you! Now, come on…the primitive Earthlings are experiencing an incredible amount of pist-offity right about now and I’m running out of smoke.” Hotz said hurriedly.

“I don’t need rescuing…I’ve got all of this under control. You need to get back to the Vessel and wait for me to communicate with you on the dark side of the lunar unit. I’ve got a mission to complete,” Skwint responded as she attempted to pull her hand out of his.

“The mission is aborted, Skwint…S’lith has been committed and the High Disciplinarian was able to sign a deal with Delsi-Theta for enough red algae to jump-start production of artificial red-fog on Al’BinoVa. There’s no threat to separate our cerebral cortexes from the rest of our bodies and we no longer need the primitives’ polluted ball of hydrogen, oxygen, and all that other stuff,” Hotz announced proudly.

“But what about my dreams and my honor? This is another plot, just like the Pluto Experience! I am the combatant that annihilated the yellow faction of Chaos on Pluto and demoted that icy ball of whatever it is from a planet to insignificant debris taking up space. It was Skwint…Lt. Skwint, then and still Lt. Skwint, now! But, you somehow received my accolades and my elevation to Colonel! This is not fair! I want my accolades!
http://i510.photobucket.com/albums/s350/sims2controlfrk/4f.jpg
“I earned this elevation by my own merits, Skwint. It had nothing whatsoever to do with you and your victory on Pluto. You want accolades, but you won’t get accolades for being foolish and undisciplined... time is of essence, Lieutenant…we’ve got to move. The primitives are gaining on the Vessel as we disagreeably communicate. D’Nerd and D’Ork are securing the fog-orbs from the remains of your transport and will meet us at the edge of the woods in 5 ochnons. You have two choices: you can either come along on your own feet or I’m going to carry you out of here…what’s it going to be?”

**********

Colonel Hot-ee carried Skwint kicking and screaming out of the laboratory of the secret facility under the fish processing plant. Under darkness of night, he ran to the edge of the woods surrounding the fishing village, with his uncooperative cargo thrown over his shoulders. He met D’Ork and D’Nerd with 2 ochnons to spare and swiftly guided terra-transport #2 out of the Earth’s stratosphere toward the dark side of the moon. They blasted the Al’BinoVanian Vessel out of the lunar orbit and out of harms way towards life and prosperity on their beloved artificially red-fog bound planet.

Skwint eventually ended her not-so-well-disciplined tantrum 20,000 septuplets into the voyage home. Her motivation:

High Disciplinarian: Lt. Skwint, your hard work valiant effort has earned you the distinction and title of Colonel-First Class. Congratulations, Colonel-First Class Skwint.

Skwint: Who..me? You really didn’t have to do all of that HD. It is my honor to serve.
http://i510.photobucket.com/albums/s350/sims2controlfrk/4g.jpg
HD: The legend of your social interaction with the primitives will continue into infinity. You deserve the praise, Skwint. You really know how to make Al’BinoVanians proud. We’re organizing a celebration in your honor and a day at the hot wax spa.

Skwint: That’s too much, HD…really…

HD: It’s been said and already been done. Carry on, Colonel…see you at the parade.

Colonel Hot-ee and his crew stood beaming behind Skwint as she ended her communication with the High Disciplinarian. Skwint and Hotz were suddenly aware of strange vibrations around them and felt a little uncomfortable as they touched congratulatory hands. The vibes lasted approximately 2 sipsips, before it dissipated into the usual argumentative discourse that was the basis of their relationship. All has been said and there’s no more to be done for the moment. Colonel Skwint, First Class…over and out.

I am really sorry. I am going to have to drop out.

My computer crashed. I have been spending hours today finishing this last round and was so close but everything I had been working on is now gone. (I could ! )

I dont really have the time and motivation to redo it all. Sorry and good luck to the remain two.

I'm so glad that you enjoyed it! I'm hoping to do a Cycle II, from an invasion perspective of the planet that's being attacked - so hopefully that'll be as fun. :D.
