Gee, just wanted the world to see, possibly my most embarrassing moment yet. I was winding down in room one day at the resort and though I would refresh myself with a nice cool shower. I didn't think to lock the door because hey, I wasn't really expecting anyone to help themselves to my room... you can tell what happened next. The worst part is I wouldn't even believe I was male even with the obvious truth right there. He just kind of stared at me like I had grew another head or something before he bolted from my room. Nasty stuff that was, not something I'd like to go through again anytime soon.

How did you respond to the negative publicity surrounding the scandalous photos the paparazzi snapped of you?
Well I kept my head high and tried my best to just move on from it, because lets face it people will try and pick on others and not everyone is going to think the same as you or like you. They don't bother me because I like what I am and I personally liked what I wore (hey I thought it was cute ;)) wasn't too bad. Although I do make sure I take a little extra care with my appearance and still do blush occasionly when I see a camera near by.

Did you learn anything about Hawaii or Hawaiians during your visit?
Well I learned alot about culture while I was over here. I never even thought that another countrie's history and culture could be just as interesting and captivating as my own, I'm ignorant like that ha. I really found myself interested in it though, the language, accent, the general way they go about things there and the way they interact with one another intrigues me most. It seems a whole lot more relaxed than what I am used to and free of all the stressful bothers of modern society life and for that I may think of settling down for a quiet but far from boring life in the tropics one day.

How do you feel about the competition so far? Is it what you expected?
Not at all, I expected something more focused on a fashionable femmine look a one cute look that screams attention. I thought this was just another modelling opportunity.. but I guess I was wrong. This contest is much more than that, I see it now. The judges value a true and interesting personality and real raw talent to a false and pretty face. This contest has changed my oppinion on how I view these contests and on appearance in general, because I always felt like we were just like animals on show for the world. *shrugs* boy did I misunderstand.

Umm well, I was really upset for a long time actually! I was very surprised that they would even bother to publish my name in a magazine.. let alone dedicate a page to me. Then a front cover! I should have been flattered really! I have learned never to go out shopping when all your other clothes are dirty and to keep my temper under control a little better! I have to admit it all got the better of me but I am fine with it now! I am only human, after all! At least more people know my name now? :P

Did you learn anything about Hawaii or Hawaiians during your visit?
Hawaiians are such lovely people really! I wish I could stay longer! I did not really get the time to learn hula or anything but I visited some lovely beaches, ate some wonderful food and got to see some of Honolulu! I really hope I can go back some day.

How do you feel about the competition so far? Is it what you expected?
I am having an absolutely wonderful time in this competition! Every task so far has been very fun (minus the slight mishaps with the paparazzi :P) and I am really enjoying myself. What is what I expected? Not at all, I just expected to frolic around in a skirt or something similar. It has challenged me in ways that I had never though of, I have met some of the most wonderful people and my experience so far is something I will never forget!

It's a bit distrubing that they'll put ANYthing out there just to sell magazines or papers. I'm upset what they wrote about me and my brother - so we kissed, it's not the first time we have either. I don't really see anything wrong with it, and mother doesn't seem to care much either -- it's not like we're really blood-related, being adopted and all. Though, I think mother was more upset then both me and Hayfa combined. She chewed out the top editor's ears for an hour on the phone before he finally apologize for the article about us.

Did you learn anything about Hawaii or Hawaiians during your visit?
Well, I did learn how to surf a little - I know, kind of stereotypical, but after the day was done we did go to a little luau and learned how to play the dance music.

How do you feel about the competition so far? Is it what you expected?
I didn't think we'd actually get to travel around the world; I thought it was all just going to be photo back-drops, or all sets and things. It's very different than what I had imagined in the first place, and I like it.

I get into fights a lot, so this isn't really anything new to me. My brothers told me I was too rough with the guy - not true! I was only defending myself, he was the one who try to grab me first. Besides - it's not like I sent him to the hospital like I usually do with other fights, so he should be lucky I didn't hurt him much.

Did you learn anything about Hawaii or Hawaiians during your visit?
Um -- I learned I hate the sun? I burned on the first two days of the trip, and couldn't move very well for a few days after that. Well -- I did learn how to cook some Hawaiian dishes like Macadamia Nut Pie, Mochiko Chicken, and Kulolo.

How do you feel about the competition so far? Is it what you expected?
It's turning out to be a lot more fun than I thought it would be in the beginning. I mean, I was kind of dragged into this by Morana, but now I'm glad he dragged me in. I never would have entered otherwise, and I'd be missing out on a lot of things.


NOTE: I have absolutely NO idea about those dishes Tou mentions -- I am very ignorant, and blantly stupid about most other worldly cultures, and quickly looked those dishes up in search -- forgive me if I'm wrong...

I'll admit I felt pretty silly dancing around in a leopard print... whatever that is, and doing the chicken dance, but hey... you get enough drinks in me and I can't promise to behave!

Did you learn anything about Hawaii or Hawaiians during your visit? Honestly, no. Didn't really have the time between my four-legged romps in the woods and satanic rituals. Haha!

How do you feel about the competition so far? Is it what you expected? Yes indeed it is everything I expected. The energy is great and I've learned quite a bit about modeling and being photogenic. And if this round is the end for me... well I'll move on to better things with the knowledge I have aquired here!

I really couldn't care less about those photos. I believe there is no bad publicity as long as you're willing to crack a little fun at yourself. If you're not afraid of them, they can't hurt you. I just rolled my eyes and tried to enjoy the rest of my vacation without letting the paparazzi get to me.

Did you learn anything about Hawaii or Hawaiians during your visit?
I learned that I liked Hawaii as a whole, the climate, the culture, and the beaches. I still like Japan better though, but it's like a little touch of home...in America!

The competition is going just about how I expected it to. The rounds are fun and interesting and it helps to know what works and what doesn't from one round to the next. I think everything is going really well.

Julieth, I hate to say no to an extension, but there's only 13 days left in FM4. Three rounds of judging must be completed still, and I wanted the final round to be six days long. Round three is going to take a bit of time itself (one task especially might be difficult), so I am thinking that it will be about five and a half days long, though I'll have to make sure that there is time for that. It depends on how long judging takes. I'm sorry really. ;__;

First, I apologize for the fact that these tasks are not quite related to the country that I chose. ^^; The mini-challenge is, however. xD

Round Two: Australia
Lying between the Pacific and Indian oceans, Australia is the smallest continent and one of Earth’s largest countries. A fascination to many, Australia has been called “the Oldest Continent” and “the Last of Lands”. Sources state that most of the rocks which provide the foundation for Australian landforms were formed during the Precambrian and Paleozoic time, which was 3.8 billion to 248 million years ago. It was the last continent to be explored by the Europeans, though Aboriginal explorers arrived from Asia at least 60,000 years earlier. It holds a near majestic charm when one thinks of the antiquidated landscape, diverse population, and global isolation. This isolation explains much of Australia’s plant and animal life. Hundreds of eucalyptus trees can be found in Australia as well as the only egg-laying mammals on Earth, the platypus and echidna. Strongly associated with Australia, the golden wattle is the country’s national flower. Off the east coast of Queensland one can find the Great Barrier Reef, one of the world’s most popular tourist attractions. Famed cities and cultural centers Sydney and Melbourne are larger than Australia’s capital, Canberra, and more important economically.

Task One: Candy Girl

You arrive in Australia for a photoshoot, hoping to re-claim the respect and trust of your fans and even make some new ones! You are staring to forget about the disastrous week in Hawaii, and decide that you want these pictures to be colorful and vibrant to reflect your postive and cheerful mood. The photographer suggests that you pose with. . . candy. Hey, it's sweet, delicious, and fun. Why not?

Each of you will be given one adjective (i.e. cheerful) and you must express this in your photo. You must include candy in the photo (for example, your sim might be holding a lollipop). This is not an advertisement; photos of a product and related text are neither required or wanted. Make this photo a full body shot, and do not include other sims in your picture. This photo shoot is all about you! As for the background, it should be rather colorful; the same is true for clothing. The background is entirely up to you - you may use an in-game background or create your own using Photoshop or another program of your choice, but you may not use a real-life background. As always, no simmerizations or animations. Keeping that in mind, the amount of photoshopping that you may use is completely your choice. This should be a very colorful photo. ^^

Task Two

For this task, you will be creating an abstract (elements of form, color, line, tone, and texture) background using your funkiest PS, PSP, or GIMP brushes, textures, pattens, filters, etc.. The background can be as simple or as complex as you are comfortable with.

Like task one, each contestant will be given a word combination of words - this time the words relate to nature. A nice contract to the abstract background!

Your background as well as your sim's clothing, hair, and makeup should use the color associate with the word(s) you were given. That is to say, if your word is beach, you would use shades of brown, blue, green, etc. However, your background does not have to include anything that is associated with the word(s) assigned to you. For example, you would not have to use brushes that resemble palm trees for the word beach. Bad example, yes. :p

Be creative and attention-grabbing. Make the background funky and interesting. Consider make-up and hair choices carefully. The photo should be a head shot, taken no lower than just beneath the collarbone. I would prefer that you did not make your sim smile or grin, though a very small smile would be okay. Creativity is very important, so do your best.

Judge One: Yuki's Atley June has obviously been very popular throughout the contest and for good reason. He's had consistantly stunning shots, and it's aparent in all of them that a lot of hard work was put into making them. Not to mention he's such a beautiful girl!

Judge Two: Dai Yuu. I love the abstract way you portray each task. I simply love the way it's presented; it's so dreamy... but almost heart-breakingly so. There's something about Dai that emanates elegance and sorrow.... Your character has so much personality and potential to develop and grow. I have a feeling that Dai will hold surprises for us in the future. :]

Judge Three: Atley June by Yuki. I have loved every one of your pictures since application round. They are beautiful and impressive. Atley has such a lovely personality too. xD Great work every round, and Atley is a really beautiful sim!

Rules for all tasks: Photoshopping is allowed, but no simmerizations, animations, or real life backgrounds. Please do not include other sims in your pictures unless I say that it's okay. :)


Task One (With Love,)

You will be creating a postcard to mail home to a loved one. You will include the front of the postcard and the back (two separate images, 550x400 pixels or 400x550 pixels are acceptable dimensions - please use only these, one or both).

The front: One shot of your sim in the location of your choice. He may be shopping, sight-seeing, or doing anything at all that relates directly to the country or, more specifically, the city. Maybe he is trying out one of the newest fashion trends or visiting an ancient castle. It's up to you, but remember to be creative. You can choose to use a bodyshot, a headshot, or anything else. Other sims can be included, but make sure that your sim stands out.

The back: We've all seen a postcard before, right? Well, simply write what you are feeling on the back of the postcard! The font should look like handwriting. Include what you feel is needed to make this look a believable postcard.

Please try to make it look as much like a real postcard as possible.

Task Two (Fashion Trends of Japan)

The fashion of Japan is diverse and unlike anything you will find elsewhere. Custom content creators for the Sims 2 know this, and have made lots of hair meshes, clothing, accessories, and even make-up inspired by the various styles of fashion in one of the most interesting countries on Earth. So let your sim experiment with interesting fashion and hair choices, and snap a shot of him in one of Japan's most fashionable districts. Bodyshot only. Other sims may be included in this picture, but as always your sim must stand out.

Task Three (Somber Romance or Cheerful Companionship)

** Two tasks will be listed here, but you must choose only one! **

Somber Romance: For this task, you will be creating a romantic black and white photo. Your sim must pose with a female sim. . . himself. xD For those of you who have your sim in bodyshop, you can easily convert gender there. If you do not and wish to do this task, please follow this (http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=94489) tutorial at MTS2 to extract your sim from the game and get him in bodyshop. You are allowed to tweak the female version if you like, even change her skintone, eye color, and hair color. This shot should be beautiful, elegant, and serious. Your sims should be dressed in formal wear, and other sims may not be included in this photo. The background is completely up to you. It is not important that either sim is facing the camera - we are looking for an artistic shot.

Cheerful Companionship: (I know the titles are lame. xD) This task is for those who do not have their sim in bodyshop and do not wish to extract him from the game using simPE. It is sort of the opposite of Somber Romance. Your sim must pose with a female sim of your choice (sim must be your own creation) and the photo must be black and white, but this photo, while romantic, will be laid-back, casual, and fun. Clothing must be casual, and, like Somber Romance, other sims may not be included in this photo. The background is completely up to you. Your sims should make eye contact with the camera and appear happy.

Task Four (Personality Headshot)

In the beginning, you were asked to choose one word which described your personality. Atley chose 'pretty', Dai could not decide if he was more 'passionate or dedicated', and Monet described himself as 'vibrant'. You must submit a headshot (shot can be taken no lower than the collarbone) expressing your personality - the word you chose in application round. (Haku, please choose just one! xD) The background must be plain, and a light shade of pink. Your sim should make eye contact with the camera! Have fun. xD

Hmm, black and white like grayscale, foolin. :bunny: But I am certain that achieving a black and white image using GIMP is more difficult than, say, using Photoshop, so sepia tones will be okay too if you have problems with grayscale.

Well of course! Mischal. He’s been such an absolute doll through this whole ordeal. I can never thank him enough for helping me to see the bright side of the paparazzi incident! The girls have all been great too, they honestly want to see everyone do their best. It’s very inspiring!

My favorite FemmeMale of all has to be Li-Ru Gills! She’s the one that inspired me to be a FemmeMale from the start. She was without a doubt Statuesque! I also enjoyed learning about her, she had it rough in life, and showed that no matter what your situation, you can make your life a beautiful thing as long as you recognize the opportunity.

I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want to be crowned as FemmeMale cycle 4’s winner, but I truly believe this cycle belongs to Atley, She’s everything a FemmeMale should embody. I have come further in this competition than I ever thought possible, I’m grateful for the experience and the things I’ve learned will always stay with me, but when I look around, I still aspire to be like Atley. She truly is a wonderful FemmeMale.

Now that the final round is here, please tell us what you have thought about FemmeMALE 4? What do you think of the hosts and the tasks, and do you have any suggestions for cycle five?
I had even more fun than I had expected too! In all honesty, I could not have had a better time. The tasks were well thought out, creative and most importantly - fun! My favourite round would have to have been the chinese round followed closely by ummm.. well the rest of them! The hosts have all been brilliant, helpful and very supportive. They have all outdone themselves! The judges have been great with their lovely comments and suggestions and the contestants themselves are the loveliest group of people that I could ever hope to meet. As for suggestions.. I suggest you all keep up the fantastic work!

My lovely sister who I have missed a lot while I have been away, especially during my little run in with the media! All in all, I have just tried to be myself but everyone needs a little confidence boost now and then and she provided that for me.

How would you describe what you are feeling right now?
I could not possibly describe what I am feeling in one word but I will try to sum it up the best that I can! Excited, ecstatic, surprised and very very nervous! I am so happy to have come so far in this contest because I really did not expect that at all with so many talented and beautiful contestants. I doubt I could get any happier at the moment!

I am torn between Kira Audley, Satsuki Yamada and Kai Hakumi. They are all unbelievably gorgeously breathtakingly beautiful people all round. As for this cycle.. wow! It was hard for me to choose but I am going to have to go with Monet and Dai because well.. I am sure you can see for yourselves!

Modesty is generally not my thing but I do not deserve to win any more than Dai and Monet do, probably less so. Out of the two, I cannot pick one because I just simply adore them both and they really worked hard to get this far. I wish that I could give a more solid answer but that is how I feel! Goodluck to both of you, I really enjoyed being in this contest with you two! :)

A tragic romance.... loosing something or someone you love and hold dearly, the one thing that keeps you going and drawing your every new breath. Without them we would be nothing.. so why do these things happen to us? To teach us to treasure what we have now and not live in the tomorrow but the now never regretting a thing. Is this god's will to teach us this? Maybe so.

It rips the heart apart and leaves us feeling empty, ripped and torn so effectively to the point their is no placing back these broken pieces to start again... this shouldn't happen. But it is life... I say this to myself everytime I remember the night that tore and ripped through my life with it's curved edge.

We had just said goodbye to eachother promising to meet up again secretly before our wedding, we knew it wasn't allowed but to us it was young love.. it didn't mean a thing to us. You offered me your kind words and a shy brush of a smile, the one I had fell in love with so long ago but something had caught my eye... something off to the distance, the faint filtered lights of a bus streaming towards you.. you must have been happily in your own little place, thinking of what tomorrow would bring us because the last thing I will ever remember of you was your wide fearing eyes and your never ending scream and the screech of tires that will haunt me to the day I die.. I was too late to save you..

The police arrived with due speed, treating the the situation with a calm unattatched feeling, she was now a body to them, but to me she had been someone. Someone who had loved, felt, with memories of her own.. all wiped away with one single moment.

After that I had driven to my home with nothing but a blur turning through streets with a mechanical motion, our home, what was meant to be ours together.. and that was when it happened. The unrestrained emotions spilled from my heart shocking me on levels I couldn't even imagine the way I had upturned the furniture and smashing glass. I had lost apart of myself that night.. and I had done nothing at all to prevent it, I could have saved you and for this, I will never love again, leaving me an empty shell with no purpose but to live out my life alone with nothing but the memory of you.. and what we once were..

Every night I perch myself on this smooth cold marbled bench, fixing my eyes on the sheet in front of me, reading all the song and rythem that spills from the white page and trasnferring it into my fingers and emotions. I play for her memory, and hope my song reaches her as my fingers glide across the black and white keys. Everything is blocked out from me when I do this, everything but the inky black dots and lines infront of me as my playing comes to a close and I gently close the marbled lid of my instrument and my mind to her until the next time. Music is passion they say..

Now that the final round is here, please tell us what you have thought about FemmeMALE 4? What do you think of the hosts and the tasks, and do you have any suggestions for cycle five?
I wasn't too sure what to expect when I first decided to enter this cycle. Femme male was something unheard of for me, in a world so fixated on the perfect male image of a rugged manly look obsessed with the tools in his shed... but I think the idea of male beauty and appearance is on a new way to change.. The host was wonderful in every single way and was quick and helpful when needed, and made this contest a rather pleasant experience for me. The tasks were different and innovated, up to interpretation and still indulged my artistic side and a way to express myself in ways I never would have thought of. Although I do hope next time there will be no humiliation on my part *laughs* Cycle five? Well... I'm not sure what suggestions I could make for next time. I will have to get back to you on that one.

I try not to let my emotions get the best of me, because in my eyes it's a sign of weakness that can hinder a persons judgement, but I found myself feeling alot of different kind of emotions throughout this contest, Without the help and support of my family and friends I don't think I would have coped too well, my nerves were a wreck waiting for results on each round, no joke! I found it easy to turn to the other contestants for advice on hair, makeup, clothes, and other intimate things. They were a great help to me. Believe it or not though, I need a lot of reassurance sometimes.. alot of people don't know that.

How would you describe what you are feeling right now?
Numb completly numb and unresponsive but intense and anxious with excitment at the same time. How on earth did I make it to this last round anyway? With all these other beautiful and talented contestants I'm surprised I even made it this far. I think I need a nice long walk to think through everything ^^;;

I can't even pick a favourite from this cycle because there is something special about all of them, and I'm sure they all know how good they all are. Personally though I have to say I have never seen a beauty quite like Be's Satsuki, he appealed to me ever since I first saw him and he was a big part in my decision to join this cycle. He has a graceful way of presenting himself and a calmness to him that makes him feel easy and comfortable to be around, I hope we can meet one day.

Morana, Sylvia, Atley, Monet and Toushiro really stood out to me this cycle. Personality and appearance wise they are all very beautiful girls.

I really can't see me winning this cycle and I don't really see why I should, both Atley and Monet have shown great promise and I would be happy to see either of them win. Of coarse I can't say I wouldn't be happy if I were to win either. Ryuzuki will be pleased no matter the outcome.

(I am so going to change alot of this when I get back, I'm not really happy with it)

Judge One: Atley June by Yuki. Your somber romance picture is stunning – incredibly gorgeous, and I almost feel there really is a dismal secret between the two characters. Dark, oppressive, and strangely beautiful. xD Atley is beautiful in this shot. You did a wonderful job with that task! I also loved Atley’s headshot. He looks very lovely, and the crown is a nice touch. ^_~ I love the small details that are always a part of your pictures, not to mention the expressions on yours sims faces. Honestly, I loved every picture and think that all of them turned out very great. Wonderful pictures and responses, and a very beautiful sim.

Judge Two: Atley June; I absolutely love the way you set up your settings and the many expressions and poses background people have. Detail is always, always good~. But what really got to me was your "Somber Romance" shot. The characters, clothing, setting, and expressions are so calm and poised but at the same time seem too eerily calm. It almost seems like they're having a secret affair or rendezvous of some sort.... ;D

**Who Should Win FemmeMALE 4?**

Judge One: Yuki’s Atley June. He has been very conistent throughout FM4, submitting entries that never fail to impress me. Looking back at FM4, from application round to the final round, I can say that I have loved each of Atley’s pictures. I think that Yuki did a really fantastic job with this contest. His entries are creative and… awesome. ^^d

Judge Two: Atley June. You've been consistent and constantly thinking of new ideas and themes to put to use throughout the contest. That in itself is no easy task, but you further push your skills and all the you've put in this clearly shows. I have never seen a round where I was the slightest bit disappointed by you; all your pictures are clear, bright and adorable beyond words.
