Naema:There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. You will receive a special runway collection that won’t be available for download until late January-February 2008 made by Khia HouseOfArt label! The collection contains 5 outfits, each with 2 recoloures. 1st place will receive the whole collection and will be on the cover of the next number of HerStyle Fashion Magazine and a special interview, 2nd and 3rd place will receive one recolor of each and a spread in the magazine. There will be 5 girls in the last round and all of them will receive a contract with Khia Modelling Agency.

Comments: It took me a moment to see what you were doing with the words on the skin in the first task. I can see where you were going with it, but in the future, I would suggest making the text look more "natural" against the skin (as if it were a tattoo) rather than superimposed. Good placement of the sign and her interaction with it. You looked great in Task Two, and that dress was a good choice; the overall effect was one part supermodel and one part fairytale princess, which I am definitely feeling. However, I could not give you as many points as I would have liked because you did not follow the rules - it was stated that you need to be interacting with the horse, and the only interaction the picture suggests is that you're about to be trampled! Pay careful attention to the directions, and you will prove yourself to be a force to be reckoned with.

Comments: I usually don't like models to look away from the camera, and that was the first thing I noticed about Task One, but after taking a step back and studying the picture as a whole, I changed my mind and decided it looked pretty good. Don't make a habit of that, and you'll be fine. Another thing you may want to consider is trying to cover up just a bit more - perhaps the arm not holding the sign could have been over your chest. We don't want any of our contestants to have their pictures removed for indecency! Task Two kind of had the opposite effect on me - the first glance took my breath away, but a closer look found a few very tiny things that could be improved. Your pose and expression are perfect, but beware of getting too happy with the smudging; there's a lot of distorting around the neck, and the bottom of the dress is going everywhere. Beautiful colors, and I really like how you opted to do it at night.

Well, I am definitely not complaining. Actually the judges were right on. I had to rush the second task... don't considder it one of my best works.

I must say I usually quite dislike having to paste my sim on a real photograph, somehow it gives me the same shivers as with simmerizing or simpose. It just doesn't seem real to me. But that's probly in-game puritain me.

This is just in general... not complaining about the task because I also understand you sometimes want the same background for an ad. (By the by, I could have build this in game... I mean I have a horse and a beach, it's a simple question of using some cheats to move stuff around ... ehmmm.. anyway..)

To not make this post totally pointless. Thanks judges for scoring me 3rd!! Yay!! :-)

@ tarkana You might wanna try save for web instead of saving in jpg format. That makes your picture a gif, which really helps with deducing filesize.

You can also pick the amount of colours you want in the picture to make your filesize less.

I usually upload my pictures on photobucket or deviant art.. deviantart is a very nice site because you can set the width and height of the photo and can upload quite big files.. but for most pictures photobucket is good enough and easy in use. Used size under 650x550 and link the picture through the images options when you post your comment/reply.

Comments: I am totally in love with Task one. I love how you fit her onto the bike and the background is incredible. Love the sunglasses and the pose is so fitting. Comments: I don't feel the choice of background worked well. I'm sure there may have been other background choices for you. It just seems the model is too big for the shot. And with a background as plain as this one, playing around with different text effects in photoshop (or whatever editor you have) would have brought this photo to life. I think in task two, the model is too bright for her surroundings. She's just kinda standing there also. A better pose or more interaction with that large bloody knife would have sold me on this one.

Comments: I liked the idea of the task with the rock climbing. I would have liked to see her climbing the rock though. But she has made it to the top and you can see the excitement and accomplishment in her face. Nice use of props as well. I love the pose and facial expression in task two. The use of blood really sells it. However, be sure to know the difference between crazy and fierce LOL No seriously.. if you played around with her facial expression more you could have her looking crazy but also sexy.

Comments: I couldn't immediately tell what sport your model was conveying but the wetsuit and water gave it away. I just wasnt sure if that was a board she was on. I love the look she's giving, she totally looks like she's having fun! In task two, I love the lighting. Not sure about the pose or what exactly she was doing with the gentleman, killing him? Nice set up though and did I mention the lighting? Excellent.

Comments: The pose on your task 1 pic is great, she looks like she's having great fun and I like the fact that you've used some perspective when photoshopping the rope. Comments: I love your task one photo. The background you chose is very mysterious and her dress and hair are a perfect match. I almost wish she was posed differently though, maybe more interaction with the tree. A more mysterious facial expression maybe? Hmmm Not sure, it's a beautiful photo though. Also, when your backgrounds are that muted, to blend your model more you may want to lower the saturation of her skin in PS, that way she'll really look like a mysterious forest Godess lol great job. You had a nice look going up until that part; don't get so excited about a new hair that you feel you must use it even though it may not work with what you're trying to convey. Comments: First of all, I commend you for you use of in-game backgrounds. Your entry really stood out because of that. Anyone can pull out a pose hack and then slap their sim onto some stock photo, but what you have done here is art. Well done. That being said, make sure you don't lose sight of the little things. Your first photo was so beautifully orchestrated that I hated to be nitpicky about it, but be mindful of where you're standing - one looks at it closely and thinks "Yikes, model standing on water! Something about that just ain't right..." The second picture is lovely if you glance at it for just a moment, and a longer look and the positioning of the models and their arms look like they could fall over any second. Wow that was a surprise for myself to scrape through. As that style of dance is no what I know much about being a bit of a dinasour in years. Yeah you are right about standing on the water for a model picture... or if I had made this picture actually for this contest. Honestly I didn't.. I made this one a few weeks ago when I was first fiddling around with this Sim.

So let me explain why she is on the water: This picture was meant to be Odille, the black swan from the famous ballet 'the swanlake'. It is the moment she changes from Black swan into her girl form just before Sigfried (the prince) comes at the lake to save her from the wizard (who thinks she is actually Odette, the white swan) etc etc. Hence the feathers and her upward motion, she's arising into her human form.

1. How did you like the layout of the contest and the idea of the contest?
I loved it. Hurray for anti-favourism. Beauty is about more than just a pretty face and this contest gave a good opportunity to show that. I'd like to take the opportuninty to thank you for running such a smooth and well- organised contest, Dreea.

2. What do you think about the judging criteria, about the judging itself and the comments? Do you think it was a fair judging along the contest?
I am not exactly sure what the judging criteria were, but the judges must have had a though job. I haven't seen so many great entries in a contest before. I do think the judges were fair... I can't say I dissagreed with any comment they gave. Thanks for that, it has given me food for thought on improving my work.

3. What do you think about the rounds?
The themes of the rounds were very diverse. Which I did like very much, because it gave you a new challenge every time. I would liked to have seen a bit of required differences in shot angles, though. It's maybe a minor complaint, but sometimes I had the idea I was only making body-shots... which made I almost felt obliged to make really, really big pictures, because you like to show some details too. However, as I said, it is a minor complaint because there was enough difference in the rest of the rounds to keep it interesting.

4. Do you want a next cycle?
That would be fun! (Although Appels, my manager, thinks it is time to retire from beauty-contests and start a Sim-filming career. We're currently working on a storyboard for 'the Swanlake'. Since I am a dancer, I know I'll be recruited for that.)

5. How do you feel being a finalist?
With all the skilled people and beautiful models who entered this contest I never thought I would make it this far. It feels great. No matter what happens or who wins first place, I already feel like a winner.

Comments: I will admit I was amazed when I saw your entry. The first task is so good and everything is exactly how I wanted to be, the only thing that I don’t like is that the colors are too similar. I can really see the urban feeling and the New York attitude. For the second task, the pose is very creative and I like what you have done, but the background looks way to real for me and there is not much detail around. It seems like something is missing. Comments: I really like the first task and it would have been wonderful with a more exciting pose and a more lighted background. Second task is very simple and I can’t say that Frances is the goddess of the waters from that picture. Task 3 is also a little plain and there is no pink like in the original banner. I would have loved to see how you take the main ideas from the existing banner and ad your own things to it. In the last task, Frances looks amazingly beautiful and serene, and even if it’s not something special and the pose is common and the facial expression is boring, I appreciate the beauty of the model in this picture. You did a good job this contest. I wish you good luck!

I think the composition was very well done, I just didn't feel that extra spark coming from the tasks. Comments: Again, I just didn't feel the spark that should "wow" me in a final round of competition. I felt your tasks were well executed, but more versatility in the poses and overall creativity would have had me sold. I think throughout this competition you've had your game face on. I would only suggest that you take some of the suggestions given throughout the rounds and run with them. The potential is there, now lets see you manifest it into some true works of out. Comments: Great work! You have some real awesome pictures! Task 1; i notice her jeans have the same texture as the fence/wall by the road/sea, i would like to see some different texture on her pants. But of course she really rocks in that picture, and her pose is good. She is stunning as Queen of Fire. Her facial expression is a bit special, it could have been better. But that's just to be picky. Her Pose and outfit is absolute beutiful and creative. And your background is really great! Your banner is really beutiful. Your magazine cover is more average, it's a beutiful picture, but 'think' magazine when you make a photo for that purpose.

Comments: You have put a lot of work into these pics. And they are great, but some could be better. I am not sure what effect you've used in task 1. I would like to see Frances in the town Paris, posing in the streets. And more lightening effects on the model would make the picture real great. It lacks shadows/light, be careful not to use too much curves or other
effects in PS or the programme you use. She looks great as the queen of water. Your banner is also great, the colors might look a bit too diffuse or pale, but the model is beutiful.

Third task is good, but you didn’t followed the color theme from the original banner.
I´m sorry, you did never say in the requirements for the round that the original colours should be followed... so...????
