Yes!! How could you tell? He got this craaazy hair because Sydney's blonde and Billy's blackhaired :] But they broke up because he caught her cheating. They were engaged and everything!

Haha yeah, I could tell b'cause of the hair. Teddy (the dude in my pictures) is actually Billy's son in my game, and he was born with the same hair. For some reason, Billy has blonde highlights and all of his kids inherited the hair. LOL

I do find the picture sweet, barring the obvious lax child-protection standards in Sim-world, because their little family were in the car together, taking the newest member home from the hospital. Nick (the father) loves holding his kids while doing just about anything.

Yep. How he looks as a teen is in the teenage thread. Though, it is a makeover!

So I made a Harry Potter world. Took a lot of the original sims out of Sunset Valley and added all kinds of my own. Another simmer has done the same thing, but I'm only controlling one household. I don't have any pictures of Harry, Ginny, Ron or Hermione (who I am controlling) but Harry was strolling through the park and found...

This is my new experimental family. Normally I create a Sim, move them into the neighbourhood and take full control of their lives and anyone who moves in. This time though, I've created 4 Sims, gave them different (and slightly conflicting) personalities, chosen their jobs, and I'm just going to let them do whatever they please. I rarely use full free will, but I will using this family. I'll barely interfere.

I thought it was hard to get a picture of two sims, getting a picture of five was more than I could handle well! Anyway. Here is my first family, and I'm still having a bunch of fun with them. The father in the back is Frances, and his wife Heloise. Their daughters are Jordania, and the twins Emmeline and Constance. Frances is still hoping for a boy but they have plenty of kids already... Then again, both Heloise and Frances are both family oriented, so you never know!

The two of them make beautiful children, I especially love Jordania. It's hard to focus on their features in a shot with all five of them, though.

These sims are the longest I've played in-game. The father is an EA sim, the mother is 4th generation, and the daughter is 5th.

This is probably my biggest family in the game right now, the tri-generational Sullivan clan. They do not all live in the same house, lol.

Seated in the middle are the family founders, Hendrick and Jennifer. They have four children: George (turtleneck and coat), Clarice (purple top with sweater), Anthony (dreadlocks), and Jazmin (the only child).

George lives with his partner, Malik (orange v-neck) and Malik's daughter from a previous relationship, Euphemia (female toddler).

Clarice lives with her husband, Mendi (blue v-neck) and their blended family: Mendi's two sons with his ex-wife, Joel (seated, right) and Julian (seated, left); Clarice's son from a previous relationship, Jamal (male toddler); and their three baby daughters, Jalissa, Janeen, and Jaun'Drea.

Anthony recently moved back in with his parents and younger sister along with his wife, Sanju (turquoise top). They hope to start a family soon also.

Okay, so for the first time ever, or at least since I got S3, I've tried getting a good family portrait... And it's so much trickier than I originally thought! Major props to all of you guys who've managed to line your big families up for picture time!

So at first I just figured "I'll put them all on the couch"... Not a very good idea. Or at least not very pretty.

So on to new, more creative ideas. I took the family outside, for a little better lighting (or so I thought). I also realized I could use moveobjects + the alt-key to tweak things. Still, my stupid self-sim wouldn't smile, even for a second!

But then finally - it happened! She smiled! Best so far. But not good enough. I found it very annoying that you can barely see the kids. A family photo should be a photo with all the family visible. Faces, not backs and legs.

So I decided to try something different. I thought, getting them all down on the ground would make the picture more natural-like, and it would be easier to turn the kids around to face the camera. The result isn't perfect, but it sure beats the first picture of grumpy parents on the couch in harsh lighting!

I had the kids play with their toys, and then I got the parents to play with them. With moveobjects on I moved the toys away and turned the kids around. I just wish the parents wood look up! But they're looking at their kids playing, obviously, so what can you expect?

As time passed, the tricou genetics passed on...

I created a whole new generation of them in sims 3, one thing I continued to carry on were the really interesting names, names that seemed hard to pronounce. I liked that idea so I gave the new ones weird names as well.

Czavrat Tricou is a decendent of Sims 2's "Gvaudoin Tricou". That's her grandson. She kept the same last name forever and carried it on.

Just wanted to say how everyone's families look wonderful! Here's my legacy family, the Jeremies, generations 1-4.

Their family tree... is massive. Matilda and Don had five children: Delio, the triplets Chelsea, Darci, and Olivia, and their youngest Elijah. Elijah starved tragically. Don had an affair with Delio's son, and had a son named Pawel. Delio and Betty ended up having two sons, Chelsea had four (three are triplets) daughters and is pregnant with the fifth, Darci has three daughters (two are twins), and Olivia was the heir having Artemis, Lynn, and Dakota. Lynn and Dakota moved out, Lynn's engaged and Dakota's still in high school.
Annnd Artemis and Analee got married, and have two children now. Jackson's pretty cute, and Chloe's still a baby.

This is my new legacy, the last name is Faux. In these pictures we have the legacy starter and all of her children. Well, actually she had another son but I adopted him out to another family because he got the evil trait at birth... I know, I'm a cheater!

Anyway, Dana is the oldie. Sitting down we have her oldest, Dominic, and his younger sister Miranda next to him. And then we have their FOUR younger sisters. No, they're not fourlets (is that a word?), they are two sets of twins. From left to right: Mira, Ally, Alyosha (Mira's twin) and Penny (Ally's twin and most likely the heir). The father, Jebidiah, was 96 when the first twin set was born and died the day he conceived the second twin set with his wife. So... Dana has her hands full. :P

Yes he is and did you notice the skin color of the children looks more accurate now with mixed race couples that have children? The children look like their high yellow.

Incidently I sent Holly to the mirror to change her hair and I saved her to cas. She is so beautiful I"m going to change her hair color and her name and marry her to my selfsim. This sim won't be Holly she will be someone that looks like her with a different hair color and name so as to not confuse her with Holly. Holly is an adult. This girl will be a young adult.

I just wouldn't feel right by having my sim and Holly fall in love and him asking her to break up with her husband.

Is she still dating both of them? I'm curious. She's really beautiful. It's no wonder she had multiple lovers. I have a female sim that is going steady with her firefighter coworker but she has the wish to kiss her best friend who she met in the consignment shop. Prehaps I'll let her get involved with her best friend and have his baby and get preggo by her boyfriend as well.

Will (Middle Sim) was once a test subject in the science carrier, every time he went to work he was experimented on. This is Haley O'Connor (far left) with her son Eric, her daughter-in-law Kimberley, and her daughter Lyndsay (who is on the far right.)

The O'Connor family is my first shot at a legacy-type family. Haley is part of its 3rd generation. She has since passed away, and Eric and Kimberley have had three daughters--the eldest of which (Heather) now has three daughters as well. Lyndsay was electrocuted and killed as an adult while trying to repair a broken dishwasher :(

The good looking elder is Jonah Cabellero. He and the other two over 12s (Conseulo Cabellero nee Smart and Tao Song) are in a polyandrous relationship. The teen girl (Mia Song) is the current heir and the super blonde boy is her half brother William Cabellero. It seems more complicated than it is and with everyone having the no jealousy lifetime reward they get along just fine.

BTW, Egypt is the best place for family pictures.

Oh, it just happened. That dining table is the only table in the house, except for one in the yard, but they eat there too. This time it just happened that they all ate inside and at the same time.

This is Alvel, named after Dutch pirate Nicholas Alvel. With his mom, well, Ariel. Taken at her beach shack which she shares with boyfriend Doomguy Marine.

Seems like while Ariel's sexy red hair is a dominant gene to the family, unfortunately for the kid, Doomguy's rugged looks is prevalent and a little squished together for now in Alvel's tiny face.

I decided to try to see if Ariel's softer look (and turquoise eye color painstakingly recreated from screenshots from her movie) would ever show up if they had anymore kids.
So, then came twins Attina(right) and Merrow....

Don't know if you can see, but Ariel and Doomguy's first ever girls all have Doomguy's blue/grey eyes, and his intimidating, brow-furrowed face. Needless to say, Ariel decided to follow her dreams to becoming an adventurer. So three kids were definitely enough.

Thus in the end, Sims 3 successfully shows how manly genes aren't necessarily embedded only in male members of the family. :"3

Once made some disney sims way back then. That was also before I realised there was a Story Progression option being on, all this time. *whoops*

Long story short, I now have Ariel hooking up with a marine, Tiana dating a mohawked Alien metal-head, and Esmeralda actually marrying into the Goth family.

(Have to say, that's not bad for Esmeralda XDD)

Mortimer Goth introduces his fiance to the rest of his surviving family. Where they talked over nectar and sat near a cheerful chimney fire while Esmeralda gets acquainted with the house. And it's previous tenants.
