Empty Packages?

I'm extremly sorry if this is the wrong place to put this, but i didnt know whaere else to post my problem. Ok, so I'm trying to pacage a sim to upload, but it pacaged the hair recolor twice. So, i took out one of the recolors, and saved it, and everything turned into an empty package in my new sims pac! What am i doing wrong here?

After deleting the extra hair you need to use "save as" instead of "save". Saving with the same name as the old one will result in empty files.
