HI
I am making a Sims version of my house. I made a basement and a attached garage on a single story house. The basement has regular walls.
I remembered a room under the sun room that is behind the garage. I made the room with walls, but when I tried to put a door to the room I get the error can’t out of bonds. Neither the room nor the house are anywhere near the edge of the lot. I tried the cheat move object but it looks wrong and I’m not sure they could use the door.
Can someone help me fix this so they can use the room?

Can you post a screenshot please? It's kind of hard to guess from your description.
By "can’t out of bonds", do you mean "Location out of bounds"?

Thanks plasticbox
Yes location out of bonds.
How do I get a screen shot and how do I post it?

When you wall it up, is CFE on false or true?
Your house is on foundation and your garage is on street level, correct? From the angle of the pics, I can't be sure.
Have you leveled the floor above?
Can you put columns and staircases into that room? Does the level above have any flooring?
I can't recall what I did when I encountered that error previously; I'll see if I can replicate it again.

This looks like you still have foundation inside that small room you want the door to lead to. Try deleting all of the foundation except for the last tile around the outside of the house.

Thank you ellacharm3d and plasticbox
Everyone is so nice to help.
No there is no foundation in the room I hope these new pics help.
No I can’t put stairs or a column in the room I get the same error out of bonds. Nor in the space for the room with the walls not completed and it would be considered part of the same big room.
I included how I made the room I do not save it so I have to redo it every time I try. The floor is even with the rest of the room, so I don’t get it.

Yes garage on street level. Yes floor above leveled and has flooring on it. The cfe is true.

I'm quite certain there is foundation in the room. Have you tried deleting it? Your foundation has an outside wall, but I see no inside wall. This looks like you're trying to build the basement inside your foundation.
Try nuking all of the foundation (ctrl-drag across the entire lot), just to be sure.

Hi plasticbox]
Sorry the foundation was on the outside of the walls I built the room inside the foundation so I thought that meant the foundation was not in the room. I did delete the foundation and it worked. I can put a door to it now. I was even able to put the foundation back so it didn't look funny on the out side.
Thank you very much
