I had a Romance sim in college who was in the Hot tub until she was late for class She was very outgoing, so she was naked. My computer was slow, and I guess she didn't finish her spin before she left because she was still naked when she got back...

Claire (my primary custom sim) got home from work as a resident with a low fun bar, so I got her to make the newspaper into a paper aeroplane. She threw it once, then when she picked it up again she threw it and made a noise that sounded like "neeeeowww". I cracked up, it was so funny hearing her make that noise. Neeeeow!

Christy Stratton was pregnant (she'd already given birth but her pregnant self was still trapped somewhere on this other family's lot before I went into her lot and played her until she gave birth) and she got trapped on a lot and died. I'm scared to go into her lot to find out if she's really dead because I only have the base game and no way to resurrect her. She and Komei Tellerman had just started a family. :(

I'd have to say that my sim Julianna was flirting with one of her guys friends Jumper, and he accepted it and everything and then for no reason he pushed her! I was like WTF?! So I had her flirt again and he pushed her again so she pushed back I still don't know why he pushed her, maybe he was just crazy.

He makes pretty girls (in my opinion- I think Benjamin Long's daughters are pretty), just like Brandi LeTourneau makes cute kids. Plus. I really like my sims having kids with townies. But more importantly, it was my townie legacy and now she's dead! :(
I wanted 10 townie offspring to offset the giant mess I made by doing a legacy of 3 brothers and their army of children. *sobs*
Stupid Christy becoming trapped for no reason and dying on someone's front lawn.

I was playing Jan Tellerman and she and adult Ricky Cormier (although he's attached in my game) were crushes. She also had wants to socialize with this 2nd generation sim so she was talking to him, I get distracted by a baby- I come back and Ricky Cormier has jumped the other sim, they fight and Ricky looses. I'm not sure why they were fighting, the other sim had a very low relationship score with Jan.

Brandi Broke was changing her baby Cameron's diaper on the changing table. Younger brother Beau was in the nursery playing with the stuffed bear. Should you revive threads like this that have been dead for 2 weeks or should you start a new thread? I chose not to add an extra thread.
My Sims were on holiday and several people were standing around in the hotel room talking (including several locals who felt it was okay to walk into someone else's hotel room and watch TV ...). Suddenly, to my surprise, they all headed straight for the bathroom. I watched with my mouth open as about 8 Sims all tried to get through the bathroom door at once. Did somebody serve a mass laxative? XD
No, after trying for a few minutes to get through the door they all fit in and I discovered that they had all been shooed by a couple who got bored and decided to woohoo on the bed (which was behind a wall so I hadn't spotted them). XD

Is it possible the guy was already in love with someone else and that 'else' came around? Also, family Sims have some weird moments like this when they someone flirts with them: sometimes they will accept flirt but will reject hugs and kisses as these mean greater intimacy.

My guy sim.. I swear he shakes like a dog when he showers or something because EVERY TIME he showers the bathroom gets flooded. I had to buy a tub, to make him take baths, just so he wouldn't flood my bathrooms. His wife though, she never floods the bathroom. Just him. Sooo strange.

You know, I would have done this and never given it a second thought. By the time I lived anywhere race was a big issue, I was out of college and thus hadn't been let in on so many of the stereotypes. Even knowing that stuff now, I'd have just sluffed it off as fried chicken being an American staple a la apple pie.
But please, let's not get this thread off track with racial stuff. There too much potential entertainment here to want this thread sidetracked that way. I only mention this because I find it interesting how one what's funny to one can be mundane to another.

My Sim in Uni was about to call his Llama Mascot friend. The instance they connected on the phone, that Mascot came running into the house with his usual cheerleading song. The timing was so bad, I mean how the game "decided" to generate the Mascot right when my Sim was callling him. My Sim got frozen with a phone next to his ear, due to an obvious bug, while Mascot friend continued jumping up and down, and cheerleading. I took a pity on them and cancelled the phone call and Mascot dissapeared on the spot, just like they do in Harry Potter movies, poof! and no one is here :D
Aerobe - your have a sloppy Sim, those Sims always leave puddles in the bathroom after they shower. They also don't mind stinking garbage in their houses and generally rarely or never clean up after themselves.

I once was in Downtown, talking to a vampire and trying to make her my friend. At some point she started to ignore my sim and went kind of berserk - she turned every freaking sim on the lot into a vampire. It was funny to watch, but later I was quite irritated, since I couldn't invite any of my vamp friends over.
Luckily, it has never happened again.

Something strange and totally unexpected happened yesterday. My Sim greeted a townie and after few interactions she offered to pass his phone number to her friend as she thinks both the friend and my Sim will get along. I've seen it happenning numerous times, but never my Sims were offered a phone call from a Therapist!! I declined that townie's offer, who knows what would happen to my game if a Therapist called..

I had a male sim have twins, and he was pregnant. After he had the first his arms got stuck inside of him and the baby was laying at his feet.
Also a toddler in that same house got into a glitch where he started to walk around naked without a censor and wouldn't change into new clothes...
I think that house is glitched but it's my favorite one anyway!
Also on another one I have a nanny ghost who set herself on fire and burned down that whole room walking around red and scaring the adults. I have no idea what bugged her but it sure is funny! It happens almost every night in-game.

This happened some time ago but... I had built a small custom house for a CAS sim. He obviously didn't like my selection of flowers for the front walk, putting his hand over his mouth and making that gagging action. He then spontaneously watered the three tiles of flowers over and over until they were dead. Then he cleaned up each tile and took them to the rubbish bin. I've seen some strange things in the game but that had to be the strangest...
Okay, maybe tied with the ghost whose wife remarried. When she and hubby2 cuddled on the bed the ghost got offended and stormed off the lot carrying a suitcase...

It must have been the time, when I started to play Xenophilia-challenge. I had a hacked telescope on the lot, and just when my sim returned from his spacetrip, the nanny got abducted... autonomously! Well, years ago I had a family in that giant house in Pleasantview, Wright Way, or whatever it's called. Anyway the mother was pregnant, heavily pregnant. Then the kitchen went on fire. She ran out of the house, into the front garden. Then, with the fire alarm in the background, she starts to give birth. Fire engine pulls up, fireman runs up the steps behind her into the house, and shes standing outside with newborn baby in her arms!
Not as good as a nanny abducted by aliens but it's all i can think of.

I have ACR and InTeen and in one of my families the mother autonomously woohoo'd with her hubby at the same time the daughter woohoo'd with her bf. I heard the chimes but didn't know which one was pregnant. Then later on I saw the daughter do that gagging thing which cleared up that issue, or so I thought... the next day both the mother's and the daughter's bellies popped.
Everything seemed cool until a little while later I noticed the daughter had gone into aspiration failure and when I investigated I realised that her bf had been eaten by the cow plant! It was quite sad but so, so crazy. Weird stuff like that doesn't usually happen in my game because I'm a control freak so it was funny.

I've just witnessed the strangest thing, and it didn't look like a glitch.
My teen Sim was having a date in Downtown and they went to have a dinner in that Retro looking restaurant. Anyways, my teens were seated at the booth and they chose to sit next to each other, on a double seat, so my Sim was sitting next to the window and her date blocked her way by sitting next to her, so for her to be able to leave the table, her date would have to get up first and move out of her way. They had their dinner, blahblah, my Sim was ready to go but she couldn't, since her date stubbornly continued sitting next to her and the exit. The next thing I know, my Sim jumped out of her sit and landed across the table!! It didn't look like a "jump bug" or anything, she really jumped and I saw her landing on her feet next to the table. I'm so curious now, that next time I play, I will send my Sims to dine out and hope the controlled Sim will happen to be seated next to the window with his/her way out blocked. Gosh, I feel bad for not recording it as a movie, but I had no idea my Sim will figure out how to free herself.
If it turns out to be some game's bug after all, I still will be glad for unexpected entertainment and a complete moment of disbelief :D

It isn't a glitch Amairani. Sims can also jump into a booth to sit next to someone already seated. One of the expansion packs added this behavior. Really makes me wonder why sims can't get around so many different things in the game, but there are a few instances where sims can, and do get around objects and people. I have to admit, I can think of a lot of times this ability would be much more useful than it is in a restaurant and wish the developers had applied the code to circumvent more liberally.

Wow I'll have to try that about jumping over the booths...
The funniest behavior was when an NPC was a vampire and, I saw him because his skin was grey w/ red eyes, and he walked by my house! In daytime! I'm not even kidding. And he was smoking (smoke coming out of him) and everything! But he just kept walking!

The weirdest thing just happened the other night-I was playing one of the families, and there was a huge fight between Nina Caliente and Sandy Bruty-they hated one another with a passion.
The fight went on and on-and then Nina dropped dead! Sandy had won the fight. (I do have the "fight" hack from MATY, BTW). Nina and Sandy were both guests, and I guess Nina's meters just dropped to nothing during the fight. She'd been having a really bad time to begin with.
Sandy is now doing time in the Pleasantview Prison for manslaughter. She'll never kill another person in a fight again! Bad Sandy!

I'd just got one of my Sims pregnant and when she got out of the bath she needed to throw up. But not in the toilet right beside the bath, no that would require too little effort. Instead she ran all the way downstairs to throw up in the clogged up toilet that was awaiting the repairwoman in the morning. If the repairwoman refuses to touch that thing then I will totally understand. XD

Yeah, it can be funny, after the fact, when a sim goes a long way to do or use something that they can do in the very room they are already in. Too bad it is often quite annoying at the moment they do it. I try to have my sims eat supper together. Other meals they often eat separately because it saves time.
The other day, I had a sim cook and serve the supper while the others were already seated at the table and very hungry. My sim serves the meal and when she heads back into the kitchen to put the serving platter down before grabbing her own plate, I had the others start eating. They get sad, puppy-dog eyes when the food is before them but they have only been told to sit. They want so much to eat the food! But every supper, I gather everyone at the table first, and only let them eat when everyone has been served.
Well, my sim grabbed her plate, went into the dining room, passed the dining room, went down the stairs, through a long hallway, through another room and outside to the table by the front door. The kitchen is all the way at the back of this large house! No matter what I did, I couldn't cancel her "eat" action until she sat down at the table. Then she gets up and puts the plate on the floor. I had to grab the plate, put it on the counter and make her run all the way there to get it. She did. Then she sat at the empty dining room table to eat all by herself. Everyone else had already eaten and I had them go do something fun. This sim got to stay up very very late doing every chore I could think of for that stunt.

Once I was playing in a house I built in Pleasentview. I had two sims, a husband and a wife. I bought a treadmill and made the husband run on it wile I played with the wife in another room. She was painting when she suddenly stopped and went to the room with the treadmill. There I saw the grim reaper take the husband, somehow he died while exercising. I have never figured it out because it happened in about an hour in game time.

One of my sims teeth got caught outside his mouth in what I'm assuming was a glitch. I ended up using a cheat to kill him off because he was creeping me out so bad and the whole "restarting without saving" did not cure it. XD
I've had soap bubbles stay long after the sim was finished cleaning. And once, my sim got stuck at work. I waited and waited for quite a few sim days and finally ended up restarting without saving.
The game glitched again recently with one of those random chance things, I chose the wrong option and my sim should have been fired according to the outcome (that's what it said anyway after I chose) but they ended up staying at work until time to come home and were promoted to the next level! Heh.

Oh I just remembered. This one sim in college with his sister, his parents lived in apartments in the main neighborhood, and he forgot who his parents were. I was looking through his contacts and they weren't there. Then I checked the sister and she was OK. So I had her invite the parents over and then the brother met them, suddenly he thought he was married to his mom? And he had the option to "break up" even though the mom is married to her husband (his dad). Because he had 0 relationship with both of them. But his family tree was ok.
Then I went to see the parents, their relationship was OK with him same as always. But they tried to invite him over, and he didn't come over, he rejected their invitation? Eventually I figured he was glitched so I killed him in a pool in his own lot. First sim that died in that neighborhood, and the second sim I ever made. :) (His sister was the first.) Then his mom died of old age. His dad is yet to die.
Yikes. Better make sure I don't overexercise my Sims.

I like it when a Sim is pregnant or whatever, and they change into random clothes when they get their "baby bump" and it picks some of the custom clothing, like sexual things. Such as a naked bottom half. LOL. So then your pregnant Sim is walking around with her vagu showing. Sometimes in town. xD

That was probably it lol. Oh well she can relax now. I only had one kid planned for her. XD That reminds me of another one of my Romance Sims who had a bad memory of having his boyfriend propose to him. I have a lot with just servos (4 for now) and dogs (breeding to fill the pet adoption bit with more puppies). One of my dogs gave birth to 3 puppies, and all was nice, they were cute, and I figured I would start early on their training before having them donated to the adoption service so that future owners wouldn't work as hard.
Anyway, I had one of my servos just snuggle one of the pups... and then *poof*, the pup disappeared. At first I thought that maybe it was just a visual glitch and it had gotten swallowed by the servo's body or something, but nooooo, it also disappeared from the pet list.
Lesson: servos eat puppies :Pint:

Once I had a family of 8 Sims with loads of money, so I completely destroyed their old house, and built them a new one which was MASSIVE. Anyway, as soon as I exited buy mode, all eight of my sims decided to crowd into the smallest possible room in the whole house, which was the bathroom on the ground floor, they all examined the toilet for a while, then started complaining because they couldn't all fit through the door at once!!!

I went back to the old Dreamer house to spruce it up for another family when lo' and behold Darren is still living there! There is no plumbob over his house in neighborhood view to indicate a sim lives there. I haven't tried moving him to the family bin yet. Straaaaaaaange

My Sim's landlord just got sprayed by a skunk just as I was reading this thread.
A while ago, I decided to hire a butler for one of my families, but he kept calling the police! So, after getting fined several times, I realised it was because one of the sims in the house used to be a burglar until he moved in.
What's always a little funny is when sims go on the diving board, get scared, and go back.

In the early days of playing the Sims 2, I made a family with one husband and wife and two teenage daughters. A Sim set the stove on fire, and they were all freaking out about the fire. I kept telling both of the parents to grab the fire extinguisher, but the "Freak Out About Fire" command kept overwriting the "Put Out Fire" command!
So the daughters died in the fire, and the wife wouldn't stop freaking out about the fire long enough to mourn them like Sims normally do, then the wife got set on fire and died. The husband had a low Hunger motive 'cause by this time, the entire kitchen got set on fire. He also had a low Social motive... 'cause everyone was dead. So he kept freaking out about the fire, until it eventually burnt itself out. So what does he do? He doesn't even have a chance to mourn the wife and children before the Social Bunny appears! I try to stop the Social Bunny, and it works... but then the husband dies of hunger.
Epic fail. But it was funny as hell.
'Nother one:
So I put a hot tub in a back yard. I had a different family by now. So the husband and wife undress and are naked, and they climb into the hot tub. Then the butler comes out and spins into his swim trunks (with his crazy afro) and gets in the hot tub. I had to make the butler selectable before I could get him out of there!
Good times, goooood times...

I did the pool thing too!
One time two of my sims had a wedding but they also had a butler, they already lived together. The butler wasn't doing anything so he came upstairs to watch the wedding and changed into his formal with his afro!!! Lol I think Maxis/EA/whoever did that EP put that in there for a laugh.
Oh and once all of my sims were asleep, and one of my toddlers and her dad woke up in the middle of the night. They lived in a really fancy house with tons of hedges and I looked out and the butler was STILL trimming the hedges, but he had gotten bored and he had decided to take a swim in the pool as a break. So he was trimming the hedges at 2 am with his afro and his Speedo on. I laughed until I had a headache.

One of my sims' paintings -- painted on the easel, and now hanging on a wall -- began moving by itself while the family played "Don't Wake the Llama". It was weird. The painting kept moving off the wall and floating around, jerking back and forth, going back to the wall, then leaving it again. This went on for a little over a minute. I captured video of it, but alas -- my settings were set to very low and very small.

I started a new family with a single sim in a ninja costume. I planned to make him run a Gym, but you know how plans end out (they don't).
I was getting some new friends around strangeville, one of which was a werewolf character I cheated with a lot... Oh wait, did I say friends? Werewolf boy hated me for some reason, and inevitably the ninja and the werewolf started fighting and I became a werewolf.
So now I was a Ninja Werewolf. Awesome. I thought about becoming a vampire too, but nightlife wasn't installed at the time. I went back home and set up the gym, but realized that a shop was a much better way of making money. I thought about what to sell when a genius idea hit me- Robots.
A Ninja Werewolf who sells robots. I normally forget about lifetime wants, and this was no exception, so a few days later I decided to check it.
I'm a Ninja Werewolf who sells robots and fights for the army.
I WILL NEVER TOP THIS SIM EVER.

Maybe not all that strange, but two sims Kelley Jones and (dothesmustle's) Nathan Peet were getting out of the hot tub when they both glitched and lost their aspirations and started doing this weird reset thing (almost like a lovely dance) while spinning around in circles. Thank goodness for InSim I could give them their aspirations back and they were fine and got married and will now proceed to have beautiful babies.

One sims day he brought one of the other girls home from work,, where his wife brought the other with her from work. Needless to say, him and all thres girls he's woohooing in the same house, guess what happens? He kisses one, and then all 3 are taking turns smacking the snot out him. It was hilarious in a way cause they just lined up and took turns smacking him, then stormed off.

Later, when the car came to pick up Lulu for her pet job, Ivy did the same thing -- ran out the back door and around the house to the fence. The next time Ivy came home from work Gabriel did it.

I think the strangest thing that happened recently was when I was playing my "asylum" lot. Laura had called her boyfriend Clinton to ask him on a date (again!) and while she waited she was looking out of the window.
Clinton arrived, so I told her to go greet him, but she got stuck in the "look out window" pose - and stayed like that the entire date! Watching animations like "make out", "goose" and various others when she hardly moves but he has all the normal movement was VERY odd! But rather funny too! ;)
Oh, just remembered the other odd glitch I had earlier - one of my sims got home from work and was invisible apart from her plumbob! Seeing the loo-brush cleaning on it's own(!) made me giggle like anything! I didn't try getting her to eat Chinese food... wish I had now

Selly_2009, I`ve had similar in my game. I recall one time when one of my Sims was having date-type interactions with a visitor [who happens to be a playable on another lot] [and I forget if it was a scored date, or just havin` fun] who was sitting on a chair at a chessboard when the "fun" started, and never bothered to stand up all through the entire period, despite repeatedly being goosed, made-out with, probably dancing, etc., and for certain "walking" around the house`s front deck! Yes, all in a "seated" pose! :| Gah!
As for *strangest*, go see my post in Help with Birthday (Baby to Toddler) about twins growing up very badly in ways that have NOTHING to do with "growing up well" in game-terms. Please note that this is neither my first nor last post in that thread.

I had this Sim once (I deleted that neighborhood anyway) and my Sim invited the postman (who was a woman) into the house. She sits down, turns on the TV, and plays SSX3. She never left. Seven sim days later, she's still there. I couldn't get her to leave. I then went to a club with a sim friend. I come back. She's still there. So the sim friend and I go outside. The friend goes to blow bubbles, and I lit a marshmallow. Then my sim catches on fire. My friend just sits there and does that 'Fire!' dance, and so did my sim. And there was a pool. Right there. In front of me. So I try to cancel the fire dance action and get her in the pool. Doesn't work. My sim dies. The friend just looks at the remains of my sim and continues to blow bubbles. The postwoman (finally) stops playing, walks outside, looks at my sim, and walks off the lot. My sim's cat was the only one to mourn for my sim. o_O

The strangest thing that's happened to me so far was when our nanny washed the new kitten down the drain when she did dishes.
She'd picked up the kitten to cuddle, then picked up some dirty dishes as well. She went over to the sink to wash the dishes still holding the kitten! Just as I zoomed in to make sure I saw what I saw, she finished and drained the water. The kitten was GONE. Nowhere to be found.
She still shows up on my family bar and I can keep her in the green with a hacked object, but when you click on her to center, it goes to the far corner of the lot. I tried reporting her missing, but that option doesn't come up. I also tried giving her up, but it says I don't have any pets to give up.
Weird. I'm never letting another Nanny touch my pets. :wtf:

recycledvinyl, I haven`t checked to see if this works for cats & dogs, but if it were a "human" Sim, I`d tell you to enable the Testing Cheats and Shift-Click on the Mailbox [or perhaps the Trash Can or NewsPaper, but I *believe* that the MailBox is the correct object; I`m not in-game right now, so I can`t check] and select the option named something like "Teleport Here". Can`t hurt to try; if it doesn`t work, just turn `em back off and quit without saving.

The last thing that happened was she'd returned home from her little grocery store business after receiving a positive review and the "Best of the Best" award. :)
Not that I'm complaining - the house got a makeover (2nd storey added, new bedrooms for the children and a snazzy yellow kitchen) along with the vegetable garden! The business also did well out of it by getting an orchard planted behind the shop.

One of my families dogs had puppies. However a neighbor came over to talk to the owners. Picked up one of the puppies and walked off. I was freaking out and I kept getting warnings about how she was starving. Three days later ( with the help of maxmotives to keep her alive) she just trotted onto the lot and acted like nothing happened.
I also had a family where the woman would never marry and sleep with any man she could befriend in the hopes of getting a daughter. Of course this lifestyle had devastating results on her six sons - or well 5 of them. While the rest of the kids stood crying endlessly when Jeda would bring home a new man, Captain Oblivious Christian would hug the new comer and walk off to play the piano. So while everyone hated Jeda Christian adored her. Poor Christian he drowned a few days ago -smirk-. We needed room for his pretty brother's baby.

Can't you try to use the FFS Lot Debugger on the family lot to try and retrieve her back (use the Retrieve Missing Sims option). Or put a teleporter on the lot and try to get her teleported back. That sounds weird what's happening with her in your game.
Anyway I suppose the weirdest thing that happened to me was in my early simming days. I created my self-sim on two separate occasions and they and their partners/kids apparently disappeared into a black hole never to be seen again. 1) I had Desdemona marry Tybalt Capp. Both of them have fair skin tones, no one on either side of the family had dark skin. Then, when Desdemona had her first child the baby had dark skin?! I thought maybe it was a random genetic glitch so I had her have two more children with Tybalt: both of whom turned out to be dark hued as well.
Strange!
2) One day while playing one of my sim's home lots, Agnes Crumplebottom had somehow appeared outside their house and refused to leave! She hung around for days outside. When I made food for the whole family, I invited Crumplebottom to have a plate, she came in the house and emptied the entire plate in her purse! After a few sim days she went away on her own.

One of my sim families was throwing a wedding party at their house, and right at the exact time that the party started, the gardener's truck showed up. I saw the gardener get out, take a few steps away from the truck, and watched as another gardener got out of the truck - and another, and another and another. Eventually there was like fifty of them, lined up in the street outside the house, as if they were an army planning to invade - but rather than tend to the plants, some of them went inside and helped themselves to the buffet table. Because there were so many sims on the lot, my game ended up freezing so I had to start over without saving. I have no idea why the entire gardening taskforce showed up at my sims wedding, but it was certainly interesting! (and I'm not sure how that many sims could really fit inside a pickup truck... but that's beside the point)

This was kind of creepy, scary: My sim family - Ophelia Nigmos, Johnny and their toddler were all asleep for the night when the creepy burglar music comes on. Normally the burglar goes to the most expensive object in the house and tries to take off with it before the cops get there. Well in this case he walked right into the nursery, peered into the crib and gave a diabolical laugh while wringing his hands. I actually froze in place terrified that he was going to take their baby. But the burglar alarm took care of that... the cops arrived, fighting ensued and he was taken away.
I still shudder at the thought of him stealing the baby! :(

I have an Elder Sim whose wife, Adora, just died. Right after their granddaughter became a toddler. Oh, and the little message appeared "Booyeah! This has been an amazing week!" or something like that. (His Lifetime Aspiration was permaplat, but still it was strange.)
Then someone Adora knew called and I saw the message, "Adora isn't home? I'll call back later."
Don't hold your breath, buddy....

I sent newlyweds Gabe O'Mackey and Patricia Wan on their honeymoon to the beach destination where they immediately consummated their marriage which resulted in pregnancy, so with her needs now dropping like crazy, they go to dinner at the hotel restaurant where their server dropped the food on them, not once, not even twice but three times in a row! :wtf:
They finally got their food and this scumbag comes out of nowhere and snatches Gabe's plate.
I'd had enough at this point and determined to let Gabe eat without waiting on yet another meal, I had him attack the guy and to my surprise, with no body skill at all, Gabe actually won the fight and was able to eat his food in peace, finally. Meanwhile, Patricia had passed out in her food because her energy bar dropped all the way down while she was waiting through 3 servings of food being dropped on her.

My Alice and Tarrant sims (No need to bash on me for supporting that pairing, I base my love for that couple from the original script), I had a small wedding for them in their front yard and only had their closest friend come, Mirana-the White Queen, and when it was time for their wedding party to end when the shuttle to take Alice and Tarrant to their week-long honeymoon, Mirana was dancing, and seven sim days later, they came back home, and Mirana was still there dancing, and I was ready to facepalm myself.

I remember Gwen and Reza's wedding, the first in the game... all the guests came and crowded around the champagne bottle, and drank toast after toast autonomously, and then all stampeded to the bathroom. Some of them peed the floor and not all of them had a chance to go before the party was over and they went home.
Oh, and I think this was in an older thread, maybe... Reza's grandfather Nassir invited Reza over, shortly after his dog had had pups. Reza sort of overstayed his welcome, stayed up and watched TV and played chess and stuff while everyone else went to bed. Finally Reza got the "it's late, time to go home" thing -- while he was holding a puppy. He left the house and walked down the sidewalk and vanished with the puppy in his arms. I had not told Nassir or Amir to give/sell a puppy to Reza, so it seems like he just stole it. I didn't save that game because I didn't know what would happen to the puppy.

-A test lot began to be visited by strange characters, such as the ideal plantsim, the Toddler New Year and a cat with skunk texture. These characters are not supposed to work as visitors.
-I made a vampire-werewolf-zombie sim and he walked with a strange combination of the three walking forms.
-A tombstone was struck by a lightning. And the victim, Ashley (the frat brother from Sim State University) died struck by a lightning. I wish I had saved the picture, but I already reinstalled the game.
-Spontaneous combustion: In a dorm, suddenly a sim burst into flames for no reason. She hadn't been in the hot tub or working out.
-After a fire where Ty Bubbler, Jared Starchild and some dormies died, the Grim Reaper came for their souls, but he forgot about some of them, and their tombstones didn't appear.
-A kid was attacked by a SentryBot while he tried to steal the newspaper. I didn't know that could happen.

Weirdest thing, after all these years: I go to play with this family I love who owns a huge orchard. I open the lot, and it stays open long enough for me to 12 rows by 12 of the NPCs in the brown uniforms (what's this npc function??) standing all lined up in the orchard. Then the game crashes. WEIRD. I don't need help debugging or anything, that was just the weirdest thing I'd ever seen. Row after row of these sims in identical outfits, but all different heads, male and female. I wish I got a screenshot before it crashed!

I had a married couple with no kids that I moved into a house once, and after they settled in their house some visitors from the neighborhood came to welcome them. I had both my people standing outside, each talking to a neighbor, when it started to rain. Lightning struck a tree that they were all standing near, and of course all four of them started to panic and stand around the tree. The rain stopped right after the tree caught on fire, so the fire didn't go out like it normally would. I tried to get both of my people to either put out the fire or call 911, but for awhile they just stood there screaming. Eventually my guy started to put out the fire, but he wasn't fast enough. My guy's wife caught on fire and died, and he started crying about that. Then one of the neighbors caught on fire and died. After a little bit longer, the other neighbor that was there just stopped screaming about the fire and left. I still couldn't get my guy away from the fire, so he burned up too. After that, there were no more people in the household, so I didn't save, and I went back to the neighborhood. Then, I went back to my people, who were now back to just having moved in, and I made my guy learn fire safety so there wouldn't be any "accidents" that time around.

One of my sims got the magic lamp dropped off at his house last night. He's a popularity sim with high charisma and a good reputation, has plenty of money, and hacks and aspiration rewards can give him a long life, so he really didn't need most of the wishes. Instead, I had him resurrect one of my deceased sims. Normally I don't play zombies because they're pretty useless and bring everybody down.
However, I had not considered much about which sim it would be, and resurrected one with 10 neatness. Yeah, it's kind of heartless of me, but I'm really getting a laugh out of this guy complaining about how bad he smells no matter how much he showers. . .

I had a teenage boy who was always thinking about his uncle with hearts flowing around, as if he had good chemistry with him or was in love. He grew up to young adult and went to university, and still was having these thoughts and dreams. One day I decided to edit the characters in SimPe so they wouldn't be relatives anymore, and they fell in love. After that, I changed their relationship again in SimPe, so they would be once more uncle and nephew...and they were still in love!!!! Being relatives, and all!!
When he made out with his uncle in front of the other family members, everybody got horrified: his grandfather, his mother...I think that his little brother even started to cry.
Pretty understandable.... :wtf:

Prince Avalanche - that's the Therapist, he turns up if your teen or older sims are at the bottom of their aspiration meter (either by not filling wants over a long period of time, or by fulfilling a fear).
As for me...in one 'hood I have a sim, Stephen, who hates the Llama mascot (his mother was the same when she was in college). The best bit? I caught his boyfriend, Eli, flirting with the Llama mascot (and that's not all; Stephen's twin sister has thrown up the "call me" sign towards Eli -- thankfully Eli has no attraction towards women or I'd have one weird love-T going on).

I had two Sims on a date downtown, and suddenly one Sim darted out the door (shy Sim) and the other ran elsewhere in the restaurant.
I was like, what's going on? Oh. Watch Fight. Mr. Big was laying the smack down on some townie. And funnier yet--immediately after kicking the townie's butt, he proceeded to pull out his compact and primp.
Now on the same date (strange thing now)...my Sim had called her boyfriend for a date, the cab came, but she wouldn't get in. I was thinking, nice, he's gonna think you stood him up! The action kept disappearing from the queue.
Then it hit me...have her WALK to a place downtown.
And wouldn't you know...when the restaurant loaded up, here she comes, boyfriend in tow! *whew*

I had a single female sim living in a house by herself with her cat. Now when she first moved in Mortimer Goth came over and she greeted him, that' all. No other interactions whatsoever. A few days went by and Mortimer started calling her, and I mean like, two or three times a day. So I just ignored it and whenever he called, I'd just get her to hang up. Eventually, I bought her a vacation home and took her there to furnish and play it. Well inevitably, my game ended up crashing.
Now, the weird thing is, when I loaded my game again my sim was nowhere to be found. Her cat was at home, buy itself and her vacation home was now owned, suspiciously enough, by Mortimer Goth. Needless to say, I blamed him for the disappearance of my favourite sim and killed him, haha

I think it is funny to see sims I created cheat when they play chess. I caught one of my sims in the act of stealing gnomes from the new neighbors in the hood. She didn't stop at one, she stole four I think. She later brought them back. It makes me giggle each time I think of it. Now that I'm seeing another sim cheat at chess, it makes me laugh but also makes me wonder what other things my creations will do that I hadn't planned or wouldn't do myself. I know I wouldn't intentionally create a cheater, but it hasn't kept me from laughing each time I see her cheating with another sim I want her to be best friends with.
What a way to start off a relationship!

Moved the camera outside the house and noticed the trash bin wobbling.... My first thought was that my video card was having problems all of a sudden and the game became unstable. Next second, the trash bin's lid comes off and some kid's head appears, poking out from the bin!! The girl Sim, who happenned to be a granddaugther of Loki and Circe Beaker, is sitting in the trash bin and munching on something.. There are probably several mods you can use to expose or know the identity of invisible sims. If I heard footsteps, but did not see a sim, I'd probably pause and use Merola's Mind Control Mirror so I can quickly see what sims are on the lot. I've used this many times on large community lots so I can see what sims have come to the lot while my sim's are busy. Then I can make another sim selectable without having to see the sim first
It is a hugely useful tool on lots that have several stories. I would not be able to keep track of sims I may want my sims to meet on community lots without it.
Also, I think the lot debugger from maty has an option to fix invisible sims. I've never had to use it, but it could be another option if that happens in your game again.

This requires a little bit of set-up, so bear with me:
One family I have consists of Joanne Rutland, her husband Grover, her son by alien abduction Mars, and her three daughters by Grover Jane, Rachel and Sophia. My normal style of gameplay means that I always roll for a sim's aspiration, so when Mars became a teen, he rolled Popularity and the LTW to Become Captain Hero. I have a LTW variety mod in which looks at a sim's interests, aspiration, relation and the general population to decide on one of a number of aspirations.
A few days later, Jane transitions in to a teen, and again I roll her aspiration. She rolls Fortune...and the LTW to Become Criminal Mastermind. Apparently, if I had gotten Mars a job in Lew Enforcement, it would have prevented Jane from rolling the criminal career LTW, but now I have BFF half-siblings whose dream is to beat each other up on a daily basis.
Of course, I had to do a small photoshoot with them :P

The Ramirez family (Checo, Lisa, and their daughter Tessa) met some walkby sims they spent the evening and night with. Shortly after midnight, it was time for Tessa to go to bed. I was just about to direct her to stop fishing and go to bed when I noticed that she had just caught a fish. And so had Checo and Lisa - nearly simultaneously. Their guests had not. Hehehe.
In the morning, the school bus was to come by shortly. Lisa was in the kitchen making meals to stash in their inventories. Checo had been up all night with very little sleep and decided to lounge on the sofa before going to work.
When Lisa finished making the last group meal, she decided to take a bubble bath. Checo, who was too tired to do anything just seconds before, suddenly jumped up from the sofa to inspect their wall decor - a towel that had been there since the day they moved in. It actually was a towel they had in their old house in Bluewater Village. Of course, I knew it was an excuse to see Lisa naked in the tub because the towel was in the same bathroom Lisa was in.
Checo stood over Lisa in the bubble bath the entire time she was taking her bubble bath.
It made me giggle. When I first started playing them, they had one bolt attraction for each other. Then it was two bolts. Very few of the pre-made couples have three bolt attractions. So, the first thing that pops into my mind is, "Oh God, now they are going to be inseparable and I won't hardly be able to get any work out of them. Just when I thought their training was going so well!. Finding excuses to be in the bathroom when Lisa is in the tub is just an excuse. Damn, what am I going to do!"
Then I realized I was whispering audibly what I was thinking and it made me laugh even more. Of course it IS all about ME!

Well, Belladonna Cove's Jessica Peterson has a bad rep. And she asked a Sim out on a date. Now here's the funny part: They had a three-bolt chemistry (he was Popularity and I'd changed her aspiration to Romance), but the entire time he was going "ewww!"

My sim was invited to a casual group outing. When she met up with everyone downtown I noticed something on the sidewalk in front of the building. When I looked closer it was an infant!...with a blue plumb bob like everyone else had. Turns out two of the married group members decided to bring their baby...and then just ignore her!
Since I could only direct my sim I had her cuddle and play with her. When the baby started stinking and needed her diaper changed there was no action to "change diaper" so the poor thing just reeked.
There was no action available to "hand her to..." either.
When I left the group outing the baby was still laying on the sidewalk...no one else paid any attention to her...not even her parents

So far, the weirdest moment I've witnessed was... One of my sims had a rather 'unique' relationship with a woman, they absolutely hated each other. He would splash drinks on her, look at her through his telescope and get into fights.
The one day, she comes to his house, picks up his newspaper and runs away with it.
I was like... wtf, you silly cow, if you had any sense you would know he never reads the paper anyway, since he has a bunch of old ones already.

The thing I find funniest is my own hypocrisy. I always get cross at my sims if I catch them playing computer games! "Oh, no, you don't, go do something productive! You don't even want fun now and you're starving!"

Okay, this just happened and I laughed a good deal. It usually bugs me the way sims woohooing in the photobooth acquire cheering sections, and I usually take the horny sims all the way home, but this evening there was good and sufficient game and character reason to go ahead with it, and the lot wasn't very crowded, so off to the photo booth I sent them. The cheering section on this occasion consisted solely of Kitty Hawkins, the local baby machine, who is being very active in the third trimester with her seventh child.
This is funny because it's in character in story, where I do a lot of dialog and have evolved a complicated backstory with complex character development. The Hawkinses produce relaxed, sexually confident children who always get whoever they want romantically and generally have townies flocking after them, though they are also ugly as sin. I figure this is because all that baby-making in their cabin, with boys and girls crammed together where ever they'd fit and nothing like enough bathrooms, made privacy a non-issue. Nobody had it. Everybody knew when Ma and Pa were making babies again. Anybody who had a question got the answer and it was no big deal. In-story, the original mining settlement my primary characters are from had a saying about horses being hung like Hawkinses, and young people with romantic woes or go to Hawkinses for advice. Goz Hawkins, the dad, is in the education track, and I believe he's trying to revamp the woohoo ed curriculum at his school.
So of course Kitty's the one cheering the same-sex couple making the photo booth rock. Who else would it be?

I had the same glitch, where a sim is duplicated. But in my case the duplicated hated my sim that was visiting a community lot. More & more gathered around him, waiting for their chance to beat him up! Rats, can't find the picture, just a movie - which I don't think I can upload..?
I have had the rare instance in Sims 2 and Life Stories where a Sim coming back from a community lot runs into--herself! One is controllable, the other isn't, but there are two thumbnails.
Talk about being beside yourself....
Once I thought, what if I deleted the double using boolprop...which I did, and after that things were normal again.

I've had the exact same thing happen!
Speaking of university...I had Tara DeBateau and then-fiance Castor Nova sharing a residence (each having their own room of course). Castor threw a party and invited the sorority (guess where this is going) as well as Allegra Gorey (whom I found later on ALSO had a crush on Castor) and Jane Stacks.
Not only did he manage to honk off the entire sorority and Allegra when they discovered that he was in love with Tara, but a cow mascot and a professor crashed the party! I was having fun trying to influence the professor and Brittany Upsnott to flirt with each other....
Oh, and the party bombed.

Ms. Spears, you did that one to yourself...If I'd known then what I know now I would have paired that boy up with Heartbreak Heather Huffington and let them make each other miserable.
The adventures of Clovis Point: His main squeeze Sadie Hawkins has a no-woohoo-till-graduation rule (this allowed her to set boys up like bowling pins and have a platinum-filled final 72-hours; I recommend it), so he dates dormies. He's come home from a date with a dormie and taken her upstairs; but I hadn't noticed that Sadie had dropped by and was hanging out with his housemates. Clovis is on the bed with the dormie relaxing when she comes up to say good-by; he gets up from the bed for a nice good-by smooch! The dormie, unperturbed by this, is still on the bed daydreaming. But I'd cut the date too fine and suddenly Clovis is off to class! No worries; it was a dream date anyway and the dormie hangs around. He still has the "ditch this damn virginity" want when he comes back, and she's still around, so - more relaxing. But you can't just go into this cold, so I queue up cuddle-kiss-make out-woohoo. They were on kiss when the cheerleader broke in. They kept going. The cheerleader kept cheering. At least for once she had something to cheer about.
When Sadie left college and moved into her apartment, Clovis was the one who called her up for the evening outing. I was expecting him to show up with their mutual friends - his housemates, Brittany Upsnott who had made friends with her and dated him, and Ernest. Ernest is almost pathologically attached to his SO, so is an odd friend for the campus dog, but they got to BFF all by themselves so I have no objection. We show up at Hans' Trapdoor Co (which I've tricked out with a restaurant on the 2nd floor, a night club on the 3rd, and hot tubs and restrooms on the 4th - a good venue if you don't mind waiting for the elevator) and Sadie gets out of the taxi with Clovis, Ernest, Brittany - and four other girlfriends. The night went surprisingly well for awhile, but it had to crash and burn eventually. The girls were literally lining up to slap both of them. All the same, Brittany thanked Sadie for a nice time afterward.
(What's even funnier is that I have a friend, who physically resembles Clovis in some respects, who would have done the same thing and been just as bewildered at the end.)
Clovis and his housemates graduate and turn the house over to an incoming pair of freshmen, twins with Romance and Family aspirations. Clovis's estranged dormie girlfriends keep coming by to steal the paper and kick over the trashcan during the graduation party; so he goes outside to greet them, apologize, turn on the charm, and pretty soon they're all hitting the fruit punch and dancing, though they occasionally stop to remind themselves that they're mad at him.
I steered this one a little bit, but it worked really well. Clovis hits it off with Georgette, the Romance twin, at the grad party, and she turned up wants to ask him out, so I let her. He was wanting a specified number of makeouts and woohoos and I was curious to see whether that accelerated the pacing of his wants for intimacy with a girl he didn't know very well. It did not - she kept moving too fast and he kept scolding her. (Because he has so much room to judge...in story dialog I turned these into lectures on technique.) On the second date, however, she got him to the point, took him back to the residence, and they woohooed while her sister was at class. However, I'd forgotten to relock the door (which I try to do religiously since the cheerleader incident), and when they fell asleep afterward and I went to see what her sister was doing I found their mom dancing in the kitchen. No idea when she showed up. The timer ran out on the date and they got up and went downstairs in their underwear. Clovis had seemed set to hang around for awhile and have a snack, but as soon as he saw Mom he whirled into his clothes, said "look at the time" and booked before she turned around.
He's also had a wild night of passion (twice in the hot tub and once in bed) with Ernest's mother, and I have no idea how that's going to play out. Steady as he is himself, Ernest has always been easygoing about his mom's young-men-collecting habit and non-judgemental about his friends Sadie and Clovis, so he may shrug it off.
Ernest's mother has also appeared at outings whooping it up with the burglar who tried to steal her big-screen TV, and they've almost gotten to friend status. I have no idea how that works, but they must have a lot in common, because that burglary pissed her off royally and has been making steam come out her ears for ages.

Oh man, I just remembered another one.
In one of my dorms there were seven playables and a random roomie named Holly Lew. Holly loved to play the piano. Whenever she had spare time she would sit at the piano and bash away at it, making noise that was not really music. For some reason, no matter how much she played (through several other generations of students!) she never got any better at playing.
The other thing was that she would abandon all her physical needs in order to play the piano. She never starved to death, she never fell asleep at the keyboard or peed on the piano bench, but good grief she would let herself stink! Other students were walking by and making disgusted sounds at the green stink cloud and/or the awful non-music. :help:
Finally I'd had enough. I made Holly selectable -- all her needs were in the orange or red, although I don't think her GPA was as atrocious as you'd expect for someone who never did schoolwork -- and maxed out her creativity points with a hack and then made her unselectable again.
At least now when she sits there reeking for her art, it sounds nice. :wtf:

For me, recently something really weird happened. I was playing on University and my sim was in her dorm building, eating food in the cafeteria when another sim that lived in the dorm (npc) came out to eat and he was transparent like a ghost. Yet he was selectable and walked normally. He was just see through. It was really odd. Then he got up and left and when he came back he was normal again.
That happened to me recently, as well. It made me really nervous because I haven't had any glitches in my game for quite some time and all I could think was "Aw gosh..what now?" Luckily he went off to class and then came back normal. I think somehow they get stuck like that when they either fade back onto the lot or come from inside their own dorm rooms.

Jack and William are married and have woo-hooed a few times, but the last time they did it I used a clothing hack to make them both naked. Jack was lying on the bed in his full glory, and William turned away from the clothing rack and took one look at Jack and went 'eek!'

Mary Munny was asleep (alone for once) with a shower queued up as her first morning activity when the burglar sneaked in, setting off her alarm. She got up, reacted to the alarm, then went straight to the bathroom, the door to which is near the head of the stairs. She reached the bathroom door about the same time the burglar reached the top of the stairs, and he stopped dead with a gasp at the vision of her in her skimpy nightie. He was still gawping (and she was showering) when the cop caught up to him.
Alas, the cop lost the fight, but the burglar had to run away without taking anything, so that's all right. Mary wanted to flirt with the cop, but I wasn't fast enough off the mark. Firemen and cops should hang around longer after they solve your problem so you can ...appreciate...them properly.

Playing the Broke family.
Brandi Broke was pulling an all-nighter in the garden because she had the day off to sleep after the kids went to school. I was determined to get her to a silver gardening badge so she could plant more goodies. My trick is to have them plant a bunch of tomatoes and water, water, water them until they get a bronze badge. Then plant the strawberries and cucumbers. Then water, water, water the tomatoes again until they get to the silver gardening badge and can plant the good stuff for the pepper punch and eggplant juice.
Well, Brandi finally got the silver badge and was busily planting. Everyone else was in bed. When it was about 5:40 in the morning, she was almost done for the night. I decided to check the others to see what needs to meet before they left for school.
Damn! Everyone was up! I put each of them to bed and someone must have gotten up and wakened the others. They had been up for a while because their energy levels were orange. They had all gone to bed after midnight so I knew about how long they had been up. But there wasn't time to get them to sleep before going to school. The youngest, Bonnie Broke, was a child and couldn't drink coffee as I had the others do. Dustin had aged up to an adult a couple days before, but didn't have a job because they are lower class sims and only allowed one working sim in the household. I make him do all the cooking and cleaning and fishing for their food while Brandi works on fulfilling her ltw in law enforcement. Then he will be able to get a job when she quits.
Well, Beau and Bonnie did make it to the school bus. I knew Beau could make it with low energy levels since he was a teen and would be home by 1:00. But Bonnie only got all her other levels up before she dragged herself to the bus with her energy still low.
When Bonnie got home from school, she was about to pass out, so I did the only thing I could do, I fulfilled one of her daily wants to get her to platinum mood and aged her up. Then she got to spend a lot of time drinking espresso that afternoon. And that night she got to water the tomatoes most of the night. Bad behaviors determine their roles in the households in my game. Bonnie is now going to be the main gardener in the family.
I figured that if she wanted to stay up all night like her older siblings, it just made sense to go ahead and age her up so she can drink a lot of espresso and put all her energy to good use.

This goes under Strange.
It's a tale of two 'hoods, Pleasantview and Strangetown.
I had Brandi Broke get remarried to a rich Sim, one with blond hair (and I fixed Brandi's DNA with SimPE so she has a recessive for blond). The daughter she had with him has her black hair. So we have Dustin and Beau who are blonds, and Brendan (Skip's posthumous son) and Roberta with black hair.
Now for the strange part.
In Strangetown--I got General Buzz remarried to a blonde, and I'd also fixed his DNA so he was carrying a recessive for blond (Buck is a blond, makes sense). And they have a daughter. So now we have Tank and Ripp with their father's brown hair, and Buck and his younger half-sister Elizabeth with blond hair!
When I realized the similarities, the Twilight Zone theme started playing in my head....
And for a while it seemed everyone was having twins...now not so much....

He got his boyfriend to move in with him & then the two of them moved to a bigger Maxis-made house downtown. I put the tie-dyed table in his inventory & it transported OK, with the weird coloration. I was able to clone it with the eyedropper, so they have two of them now. The boyfriend had a huge potted palm in his inventory, which I put in the living room. The top of the palm tree goes through the bedroom ceiling, but doesn't seem to cause any ill effects. They just walk around it.

The strangest thing that ever happened to me in Sims 2, though I also found it pretty funny, happened when I had a CAS Sim go on a date with a townie who I thought would make cute behbehz with her, and they stayed at the girl's house for the date. She ended up getting really low motives after awhile, and autonomously went inside to go to the bathroom and go to bed. Her date was still outside, and I didn't see him for a long while, until all of a sudden a notification thing popped up with him all charred with that sexy lightning hairdo going on, saying "I'm gonna go home, because you obviously don't care about my needs." He'd gotten struck by lightning. xD I have NEVER had that happen to one of my Sims before, let alone a visiting townie. I thought it was hilarious. :D

Maybe it appears under "propose" or "sales" when potential adoptive parents are on the lot? She apparently doesn't want him to be sprayed by a skunk because that would make him less adoptable, too.
Yesterday Mrs. Crumblebottom interrupted a young woman's lunch to scold her for wearing a bathing suit in public. When the young lady stood up and whirled into street clothes, the old bag sat down and started eating her lunch! I think there was an ulterior motive there...The young lady is pregnant and doesn't know it yet, too, so she really needed that burger.

A quick glance at it read something about picking up the phone and call, and bla bla, but honestly I didn't pay much attention. I'm not sure why this struck me as so funny, but j'ever have a couple that wanted to woohoo have to shoo somebody away? One of my Simmigrant families has a pair of elders and a pair of adults in two double beds in the same room, and I've been having trouble running the grandpa, who'd gotten deep into the red. So when he came up with the want to ask someone on a date, I seized my opportunity and had him ask his wife out. Sure enough I got them to platinum and wanting to woohoo without much trouble; but the adult couple were asleep in the other bed. I've had college students go right ahead with woohooing in the hot tub when other people were around, and the youngest grandchild had walked by on the way to the bathroom while her grandparents were making out on the couch without disrupting them, so I went for it. They got on the bed, cuddled and kissed, but started waving their free arms (not coming out of the clinch) and yelling at the couple in the other bed when I told them to woohoo. I had to get the adults out of the room before the elders could get it on comfortably. It was one of those adorable animations - and their little voices shooing - I just laughed and laughed.

anyways... the funny part is that i completely forgot about all the others and told my sim to kiss 1 of them... cue a massive 'boing' sound and him being slapped about 15 times

For the first few days, everything was normal - the two couples ended up having their first woohoos, etc...until one day, just after one of my Sims went to class, I hear the sound of two Sims making out. I'm a bit confused, since it sounds like a girl, and the only girl that was in the household is in a relationship with the Sim who just went to class. It turned out that the girl had one bolt chemistry with another one of her friends. The weirdest part, is that the guy that just went to class's BEST FRIEND was just standing there watching the girl make out with the other guy...and then CONGRATULATED her on it afterwords!
I checked the girl's relationship panel afterwords, to see the damage, and the two-bolt chemistry she had with her boyfriend had gone up to a three-bolt. O.o It's like after she's seen what she could be without, she's more attracted to her boyfriend. XD

I have several funny and strange experiences in my game. Here are just two of them. Number one: With the Pets EP, one of the fears (I've never had a sim get this as a want, but I'm guessing it's possible) sims can get is for a sim to be chased by a dog. Well, one day I was playing the Burb family, whom Mary-Sue Pleasant was living with at the time (Jennifer Burb, as most long-time simmers probably know, is Daniel's younger sister. Even though they're techincally Mary-Sue' in-laws and not blood relatives, I figured that they weren't very happy about Daniel having cheated on her and would be sympathatic. So I moved Mary-Sue in with them temporarily after she left Daniel....and luckily I turned out to be right!). Well, suddenly Lucy rolled a fear about a relative being chased (I forget which one, though). The twist was that, on closer inspection, the fear read, "....is chased by Mary-Sue"! I literally LOLed picturing what that would look like! Somehow I'm pretty sure that was a glitch!
And the second funny/strange experience:
One of my sim couples was on their honeymoon (and the woman was pregnant. Ever since getting BV, I've had a thing for making my sim couples have "honeymoon babies"). They were relaxing in a hot spring while it was pouring rain (I don't know why I didn't just have them leave the lot when I realized it was raining!). But that's tame compared to what happened next.
They both got struck by lightening whilst in the hot spring. Well, naturally that made their motives go down. The two it targeted were bladder and hygiene. Both went into the red. So both sims go running into the bathroom. They each duck into a stall....only to emerge two sim seconds later, complaining about their lack of hygiene. I try to get them to go back into the stall to do their business, but they just keep coming out and complaining about being dirty.
You can probably imagine what happened next. That's right, they each procedeed to make a puddle on the floor, while standing literally right in front of the stalls! Making matters even funnier, they were standing right next to each other! I was both laughing and rolling my eyes, thinking, "Real brilliant, guys! Complain about your hygiene instead of taking care of your full bladders....and then end up making yourselves even dirtier!" I ended up using MaxMotives to take care of their hygiene, as the lot they were on didn't have showers or bath tubs and I really didn't want to wait around while they took 10 gazillion sponge baths trying to get their hygiene from red to green!
I also made them clean up the puddles they'd made!

I had something funny go on in Riverblossom Hills.
Quick background: Patricia Wan was honked off at Gabe for getting back with Alexandra, and Morty Roth witnessed Jules O'Mackey kissing his daughter's boyfriend Jacob Martin. So--the two of them have been doing the can-tipping over at Gabe and Alexandra's.
At any rate, they invited both Morty and Patricia in, and Jules and Gabe were influencing them to play pranks/fight with each other, which resulted in a brawl (Gabe, being a shy Sim, beat it out of the room; Alexandra was sleeping because she was pregnant, so she missed the fun).
Then, when I went to play the Roths', Morty's wants consisted of See the Ghost of Patricia, Patricia is a Zombie, and Drink Patricia. LOL
I said to my husband, wow, I don't think he likes her that much....

I had Jason O'Mackey get married in a wedding chapel, and the Unsavory Charlatan was joining in the toast. Heh.

I was playing my BACC's local vampire, Max, and his daughter, Olivia. The daughter's boyfriend, Jacob, was visiting. Max barely knew this boy (16/3 relationship) but for some reason when I had him ask Jacob to leave (it was after midnight and he'd already gotten baby chimes with Olivia... ) Max and Jacob proceeded to kiss goodbye. Now, Max is bisexual (but prefers women) however Jacob (despite being a romance sim) is 100% straight so I have absolutely no idea why this happened. ACR is weird! It can, however, bring about a very interesting new storyline since Olivia is now knocked up by Jacob and Max is in love with Angie (Jacob's very married mother) already. Scandalous!

Regarding giving kids up for adoption: get on the phone and call Service -> Adoption -> Give up child. I've never done it but that's how. I think it only works with kids, toddlers, and babies -- not teens.
The bowl of macaroni made me laugh so hard. Today Stephen Bitterwater brought a coworker home to dinner. Her name is Cleo... I forget her last name but it sounds Japanese. She's cute and I used SimBlender to give her decent hair and makeup because I knew things were going to get hot.
Anyhoo. While they were chatting in the living room after dinner she made a screwed-up face at something he said (although the relationship still went ++) -- and her face stayed that way while he flirted with her and hugged her and stuff. You know what your momma always said -- if you make that face too much it'll stay that way!

SimMegaptera, do you know what EP that was introduced in? I don't think I've seen that option in my game...calling the Adoption Agency just brings more children for me. Judging by your EPs, I would think either Pets (although I have post-Pets EPs) or Apartment Life...unless it came with a Stuff Pack.

@maybesomethingdunno -- putting up kids for adoption? I can't remember. I've got all the EPs and I installed them all pretty much at once. :P
All I know is, in the service directory where you're seeing "Adoption agency" I see "Adoption agency" and "Adoption agency - give up child". Same with pets, there are options in the service directory for adopting and for giving them up.

Wait--are you saying there's actually an option for Give Up Child? I've never seen that.

Strangest thing that ever happened in the game - my sim had quints. I do not have any hacks for that, I'm confused at how it happened.

@AlexandraSpears, totally. I'll go take a screenshot. Are there any EPs you don't have?
@aaries16, I just read your post about the quints. Scary! Glad they all turned out okay. XD

I have all EPs and SPs (I don't have Happy Holiday stuff and don't intend on getting it, but other than that, I have everything).

Instead of the normal pregnant walk, one of my sims had the "sneak to add soap to the fountain" walk for the duration of her pregnancy.

I'm noticing that the 'give up' adoption choices aren't always there. I have not been able to reproduce it in a house with a child yet. I did, however get the 'give up pet' choice when a teenager who owns a dog called services. (No, she didn't give up the dog.)

Here's the screen with 'Give up pet'. I'm not sure what the requirements are for the option to give up a child. The sim on the phone in this picture has two kids -- toddler and baby -- and an adult cat.

Perhaps there is a relationship requirement? Like the parent must really loathe the child or something...

Good point. I don't think Jonathan is terribly attached to Glimmer the cat, who is fonder of wife Lizz and son Randall. And all the parents who I've tried to do this with have been very close to their kids. I don't think I have any parents who hate their kids. Maybe I'll try with the next newly-adopted kid and see if it works when they don't really know each other yet.

Okay, here's one. Ani and Wallace McFinn, being retired and having all the time in the world, buy a vacation house in Three Lakes and immediately take off to the mountains. When they get there... Jonathan Fisher gets out of the shuttle with them.
http://i660.photobucket.com/albums/uu326/bigwinged/The%20Sims/jonathan-crashes-the-vacation.jpg
Note that his icon is on the side branch as if he was a pet. I can select him to see what he's doing, but I can't control him, and his action queue is greyed out. I can see what he's doing but I can't change it. All just like a pet. Ani and Wallace don't have the option to "say goodbye" or "ask to leave". I didn't save this vacation because I thought it might be a bug (rather than just an annoying neighbour). I quit without saving and the next time I start the McFinn household they'll be leaving on vacation again... hopefully without a man who thinks he's a dog!

Did they invite Jonathan to come along as a friend, Sim? Because I understand that's what happens when you have non-household friends come along on a vacation...you don't control them.

They didn't invite anyone -- they just bought a property, booked a vacation, and took off. Jonathan crashed the party on his own. ;)
