New Bon Voyage Blank Disc

I just bought the Bon Voyage Expansion Pack from the Target store 30 minutes away from here, and upon driving home and putting it into my laptop, the disk was blank. It popped up the AutoInstall screen, but instead of having the option of installing the game, it only had the folder to view disc contents. Clicking upon that, it says 'Files Currently on the Disc(1)' which is a Disk Image File from 8/10/2007 and 'Files Ready to Be Written to the Disc (1)' that says desktop.

I tried the disk on my friend's laptop who also plays the Sims, and it did the same thing. I just installed Apartments, which was a DVD disc the other day, without any problems. The Bon Voyage disk is a regular CD, and I'm running on Windows 7.

Wait, this doesn`t make sense. If the Bon Voyage autorun installer started, then the disk cannot be blank. If the disk IS blank, something ELSE must have opened. Can you post a screenshot of whatever is happening?

yes, a screenshot would be most helpful. Also is the disc an authentic Bon Voyage disc? Or does it look like a CD-R? If it does i would return it to the store and demand a new copy seeing as that would be a fake copy.
