Welcome to the Release Candidate version of s3pe.

Hopefully this should be reasonably stable. As such, it is important to find as many remaining stability bugs (rather than missing features) before we decide to release it as the new stable release.

We hope to release this in place of the 13th December version *this weekend*!!!

If anyone thinks it is breaking packages please speak up now!! Minor shortcomings in obscure modules can pass, but if there is any sign of it putting out data that breaks packages we need to know ASAP.
