s3pe errors

My game has been running really slowly since HELS, so I came across the merging .package file method and figured I'd try it since the amount of .package files seems to be related to why my game is running so slowly. Well, the problem is I keep getting an error everytime I try to combine a few files. I'm trying to combine about 100mb worth of clothing .package files into one .package, but as soon as I select them I get an error about being out of RAM. When I tell it to exit, another error pops up and I have no idea what it means. I'm running on XP Home and I have 3GB of RAM. Is there any way to stop these errors? It seems most people can do this with no issues, so I don't know why it won't work for me.

You'd be best off posting where you got the original instructions from. If, as you say, other people are not having issues then it's hardly likely to be a s3pe problem :)
