Game Crashes When In Hair Selection

Hello!

Every time I go to change my sims hair, I can only get to the 3rd page of the hair selection and it tells me my game has crashed. I don't know if it's because of a download overload (my system is pretty good, lol) or just a bad hack. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem before?

It's probably due to a specific download rather than just too much - go through the above guide to find out if downloads are a problem, and if so, which one(s) are causing it.
