I don't cry very often. But there is one song that makes bawl. It's called "Runaway Train" by Soul Asylum. When I saw the music video I cried. Are there any songs out there that make you guys cry?

"Hurt" by Christina Aguilera and "Streets of Heaven" by Sherrie Austin are about the only songs that can make me cry. If I've just stopped crying, though, just about any sad song can set me off again.

Hurt by Johnny Cash. Watch the video on youtube and think it was the last song he ever did before he died. I cry at that.

A lot of the music that makes me cry is orchestral.
"Farewell," by Dario Marianelli
"The Constant," by Michael Giacchino
"Anyone Can Cook," by Michael Giacchino
"The Ellie Badge," by Michael Giacchino
"The Last Man," by Clint Mansell
"Sunshine (Adagio in D Minor)," by John Murphy
"Clair de Lune," by Debussey
Unlike with books and movies, I don't cry every time I hear these pieces or when I'm playing them while concentrating on something else. It's only when I sit down and devote my attention entirely to the music that I get choked up.

I have a list of songs that I can't listen to because they remind me of someone that's passed away. It's weird though because they're just random songs that said person used to like, and aren't really sad in any way. I'd post them but then i'd have to go through my itunes and look at their title and artist and i think just the thought of doing that would make me unhappy. Sorry to waste a post. :(

"I Need Some Sleep." by The Eels,
"Hello" by Evanescence and
"Breathe" by Paramore.
They all make me pretty tearful.
*Edit* Oh and I completely forgot Tori Amos's cover version of the REM song "Losing My Religion." It's beautiful.

the only one i have truly cried to was "This Woman's Work" by Maxwell, probs because they did a beautiful complementary dance routine to it on So You Think You Can Dance, the choreographer's best friend had breast cancer so he dedicated it to her. SO sweet!

Well, there are a lot, actually.
Lady GaGa ~ Speechless, Ladytron ~ Destroy Everything You Touch, Yesterday Once More (can't remember the singer), Beyonce~ Broken Hearted Girl, Beyonce ~ Disappear, Beyonce ~ Ave Maria... I think that's it. I am a sensitive person, hidden behind a not so sensitive person. That's what people tell me :P

Well, I don't really like nowadays's music, I love the old ones. There are some which I cry to:
Beethoven ~ Moonlight sonata
Franz Liszt ~ Consolation no. 3
Beatles ~ Yesterday
Edith Piaf ~ Mon Dieu
Sometimes I also listen sadder songs from the singers of my country when I'm sad. Zsuzsa Cserháti and Péter Máté are my two favourites. But they aren't just known for sadder musics. :)

Baby Mine by Dumbo's Mommy
The Greatest Discovery by Elton John
Le Paquet D'Epingles - an old folk song with English and French versions. I like the one sung by Beausoleil. It's a version that is innocent and sweet.

The Vitamin String Quartet's cover of My Chemical Romance's Early Sunsets Over Monroeville always gets me...
That and Thunder by Boys Like Girls.
And every once in a while, Cancer, by My Chemical Romance gets me. Usually only live though.

I don't think any songs have ever made me cry but Yesterday - The Beatles and While My Guitar Gently Weeps - The Beatles (but it's mostly George Harrison's song) get me pretty emotional.

Why by Rascall Flatts (http://youtu.be/j3_85GXsKqk)
I'm not usually big into country music but I stumbled across this song a few days ago. I've lost a few (too many...) friends to suicide so the lyrics really hit home. If you're going to listen to it, make sure you have some Kleenex close by.

In the Arms of an Angel~ Sara McLaughlin
That song plus the commercial makes me hysterical every time.
Come What May~ Moulin Rouge
It's just so sad because of the ending! :(

Also, "Hold My Heart", by Sara Bareilles. That song either just leaves me speechless (especially when I listen to the live version (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IY30PLBhzH4&ob=av2e) ) or makes me cry. This girl is amazing and she's underrated. I mean, let's make a comparison between her and Justin Bieber... I'd rather we didn't, that would be a blasphemy. Buuut, I guess that she isn't vulgar in any sense and she doesn't edit her voice while singing, so she'll never be more popular. :P
