How do I make a half wall go through a column?

I want to place a column on the same block as a half wall, so it looks like the column is coming out of the wall. Anyone know how to accomplish that? Thanks!

Type "moveobjects on" (minus the quote marks) in the cheat console and then you should be able to place the column 'inside' the wall.

what El Flel said but just be aware that the wall won't go through the column, the column has to go through the wall :)

jenjaimes, In sims 2, I think you will also need to type "boolprop snapObjectsToGrid false" in the cheat console minus the quotes, to get the column in the same place as the wall.

Just remember when you are done to type "moveObjects off" and "boolprop snapObjectsToGrid true" to return to normal use. (again minus the quotes). :)
