Games like Sims 2

My laptop is currently getting fixed so Im borowing my cousins. She wont let me download Sims 2 or 3 on it but she doesnt care anything else i install. So are there any games I can download that are similar?

For free? Try some of the social game sites-otherwise you have to buy and install any game that is close to Sims 2/3, and there aren't many that I know besides Virtual Villagers.
