XPTL297 at Insim added the option to gather fruits to the tropical trees extracted from Castaways. (This is in addition to the fruits which they pick for eating - the new fruits go into their inventory.)
The only problem is, the fruits were cloned from the fishable fish. Therefore they can be stocked into the fridge, but they do not add any food points. Instead, they enable cooking the fish meals.
1. Could they be changed so they are treated as produce and add 'fresh food' points to the fridge?
2. If not (or in addition), would it be very hard to make them add ordinary food points to the fridge when stocked?
3. Would it work to replace the fruits with group meals in the form of fruit?

If anyone happens to read it: option 1 works, so I'm not so keen on option 2. Producing a group meal would probably work, too, but as to how to get it into their inventory rather than their hand and start to eat... that's beyond my copying skills.
