I want to alter the fat morph and add a pregnancy morph to a custom mesh i found, but I don't want to simply add it to the old mesh file, so i can (hopefully (with the original mesher's permission)) upload my changes. I found a download by kalynn06 that does exactly this, but I'd like to know how its done so I can do it to the mesh I want.
This is the download i found and essentially want to recreate, if it helps: http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=434140

I will gladly walk you through what I did. I got the idea from Catofevilgenius, who does her overrides this way.
First open the custom mesh in SimPe, and extract the GMDC.
To make the override package:
1.) Make a new package in SimPe
2.) Click Add and then add the GMDC. DO NOT Fix TGI or alter it, just add it.
3.) Save the package. I put zzz's in the beginning of the name, because, for this to work, it needs to load last.
4) Go into milkshape, and add your morphs with correct comments, etc.
5.) Open your override package and right click on the GMDC in the package and hit replace, as you would with any mesh. Replace the original with your edit and answer yes when it asks you if Simpe should reload it. I usually rename the GMDC back to the original name. It seems to work fine without doing this, however.
6.) Test it. This will still require the presence of the custom mesh, but now you should see morphs :)
Hopefully, that made sense. If you have questions, I'm happy to try to help.
