Thought I'd just make a text/picture version for those who might find the video version a bit confusing. :)
I should also mention (forgot to make a pic) that once you have lowered the walls on the roof, before you deactivate the cheat, you need to make the long chimney-like... thing back to the same level as the house, then you can safely turn the cheat off. :) (Hope that makes sense. >.>)
The glass house roof also seems to work better on specific sized houses (namely smaller than the one in this tutorial) but if you fiddle around with it, I'm sure you'll find something which works well. :D
