How Do You Modify the Outside of an Apartment?

There is an apartment with only a pool and some chairs outside. I would like to put in a hot tub and grill and other outdoor things. Is there a way to do this? If there is, could someone please tell me how. I'd really appreciate it. The apartment is so small that hardly anything fits into it, so having outdoor things to use would be very helpful.

You need to enabled testing cheats first. Do this by opening cheats consol by pressing ctrl+shift(+in some case windows button)+C.
Then type in:
testingcheatsenabled true

After that you need to enable another cheat. Open the consol again and type in:
restrictbuildbuyinbuildings off

After this you can modify everything in the apartment lots/highrise buildings.

If you need to add more hidden room markers etc. you need to enable buydebug. (needs testing cheats enabled). Do this by opening the consol and type in:
buydebug on

After you have none the modifications, disable the cheats. Do this by typing to the consol, one by one...
