Firefighter burning to death during job.

My Sim recently burned to death while putting out a large house fire. I went back to my last save, but is there any way for this to...not happen? I'm pretty sure he hadn't changed into his uniform, so he was doing this in formal wear. His mood was pretty low, too. I kinda feel like firefighter Sims should be immune (before it's a reward trait), since they're fighting these huge fires alone. Or at least my Sim does. Hope that's not a glitch.

Try to put a death flower in your sims' inventory? Use maxmotives cheat? Hit Crtl + Shift + C and type testingcheatsenabled true in the box. Then click mailbox and choose "make happy". I'm no sure, but can you click your sim and choose the firefighter outfit?

I am able to change him into his outfit, so maybe that'll help. Idk. I'll look up how to get the death flower. Thanks.

One more idea: if sim strts burning, try resetSim [Firts name] [last name] like resetSim Bella Goth

Maybe you should have put on your protective firefighting gear BEFORE walking into the fire. Consider that next time.
