It has to be specific. What is right for you? For me it is:

Earth Final Conflict: Agent Sandoval

Not only am I enjoying the series all the way to season 3, but I want to be Sandoval. I would have my CVI internal mandate which allows me to be the blameless nazi devoid of emotion, the skrill on my arm would terrorize resistance scumbags and serve as warning to any collaborators, I would be playing Da'an against Zo'or against T'thon, and I would have at least three f;)cktoys per chapter.

At the beginning of every chapter Zo'or would bitch and moan about something in the way of the sinod and how such and such should be captured / retrieved / killed immediately. First action, get Boone and Marquette out of my way by sending them to investigate somewhere fruitless or just to waste their time. Of course I've got my own scam going ( because I can control my CVI ) and I pretend to be unaware that the other agents have gotten close to solving the case. Of course they solve the case, which means I failed at doing my job once again. Then, after Marquette tells me my ear is bleeding, I swoop in and mess things up so badly that I all traces of my failure disappear, Boone thinks he fooled me again, and another of Da'an's abominable schemes is revealed. And finally it all wraps up with Boone's bs about his CVI. And then, if I feel like it, I bang Zo'or.

So, what game is YOUR game?

I don't know, maybe he means a game that doesn't exist, but would be PERFECT for you

Well maybe not the perfect game but...

Take Kill Bill 1 & 2, mix in Suckerpunch, add a bit of WET, pour in an ounce of Left 4 Dead 2, sprinkle it with a bit of Dead Island, and season to taste with bits of Brink and Rage...

Basically it would be an over the top first person 4 player co-op shooter, with stylish over the top moves and "bullet time" as in WET, where you play as a hot chick in a riddiculous sexy cosplay outfit in a nazi-zombie, suicide-dynamite-tossing-dwarves and cyborg-ninja-pirate infested fantasy/cyberpunk gameworld. The music score would be ranging from Dvorak & Beethoven to Björk, Faith No More, Iron Maiden and Led Zeppelin.
One of the end level bosses would be a Cyborg T-Rex that shoots lasers from his eyes and has mini-guns instead of arms.

Oh feck... who am I kidding? that IS the perfect game :)

I think for me it would have to be a combination of the sims 3 character creation/house building side, with settlers style resource building and some minecraft touches to moulding the landscape too in your home lot.
Start with a hut and build to a big estate/village/town of your own or just pick up quests from anywhere in the world (or both!)

With WoW type lore/humour and chances to link up with others for questing etc.
Skyrim/Oblivion/Witcher 2 style landscapes , ambient general world feel populated with huntable /tameable critters and mobs, harvestables and so on.

Also I think for character detail it would have to be Final Fantasy FMV level prettiness and detail of costume etc. OOh also want to craft clothing and customise it (with dyes etc like Guild Wars).
Basically, open ended, build a person, they have families etc, maybe run a store selling their crafts/farm goods..then choose when to go off and quest for glory.
Sorry it's a bit waffly but I would love something along that line.

I'm waiting for the holodeck. When that's available, I'm thinking it would be really cool to step inside one of the Mario games.

Mhmm, mix the Sims 3 a Sociology textbook, my Political Ideology textbook, DA:O, Dead Island, Awesome female characters that wear clothes, and awesome male characters that don't wear pants and you've got a game that I will never go to school for.

I would want something that was basically real life in a fantasy world. It would have to be very sandbox-y with strong RPG elements. And fleshed-out characters are a must. I would want to control a single character, but it would be awesome if there were an editor included with the game that allowed me to adjust other characters and the world, or generate an entirely new world. And it would ultimately have to have a high degree of realism (or at least logic, where magic is concerned) and detail. No extra-dimensional inventories (unless the character possessed such a magic item), no physiologically impossible feats, etc. To put it in terms of other games, it would have an underlying engine and play style that was some combination of Sims and Mount & Blade, with the character depth of Dragon Age and Baldur's Gate, and an editor something like that of Neverwinter Nights.
