So I have come here looking for a little help.

I recently started playing the sims again but it seems my laptop is just not good enough to run the sims 3 with all or most expansions so I am looking for a new one. The problem is I am useless when it comes to things like graphic cards and processors etc.
So I am wondering if anyone could recommend a decent laptop that can run the sims smoothly.
(I am from the UK so I would most likely shop at Currys, Comet, PC world...somewhere like that and I would have to keep it under £350.)
So like I said, I'm no good at this kind of thing so any advice, tips or recommendations would be appreciated a lot.

Thanks.

Most gaming laptops are going to start around the £500 mark (and even then they may not be ideal), unless you can pick one up second hand somewhere you won't get a decent one. There is another thread somewhere on here about laptops and I did a write up on my specs (Toshiba) and mine cost around £700.
I hope this will help...I'm also in the UK by the way. Just don't go with the firm PC Specialist whatever you do!

There is the link for the thread I was on about...

I have looked at a LOT of laptops today!
Would this run the sims?

Processor AMD V-Series™ Processor V140
- 2.3 GHz
- 1.8 GHz HT
- 512 KB L2 cache

Operating System Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium 64-bit

RAM 3 GB DDR3 RAM (1 x 1024 MB + 1 x 2048 MB)

Graphics card ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 4250 Graphics
- Up to 1405 MB total available graphics memory

It's the Processor and Graphics Card that I'm not sure about.

No, it wouldn't. The processor is single-core - you need at least a dual core (2.0Ghz or higher), but even that won't last long, and you'd be better off getting something with quad core. The graphics card won't run TS3 at all. You're not going to find a laptop capable of playing Sims 3 within that budget, or anywhere near it - you need to spend some more time saving. :)
