Can't edit tourists

Hi, there's a strange thing about my game, and I don't know whether it should be like this, or sth. is wrong.
So, I can't edit the tourists that come from WA destinations to my town (Twinbrook) in CAS with Master Controller. my version of MC is suitable for my game version, and causes no issues. I edit both playable and non-playable sims (like barmen, paparazzis, etc) in CAS; when I click on any of the tourists, however, there are still some master-controller options, but there is no Edit In CAS option among them. I also can't enter the locals' homes in WA countries when I go there to edit them a bit. Is this the peculiarity of WA, or is there an issue with my WA EP?

Thats normal or at least I've never been able to either. you can't edit adventures while at travel locations either only locals.

Does the "Stylist" option appear, at least?

I normally just edit with the Stylist unless the NPC is REALLY ugly

PhenethyaSim is correct : The CAS interactions in MasterController are disabled if the sim is foreign to the active town-file.

I do not trust the core system to retain the changes made to those sims while not in their local homeworld, so the interactions are disabled.
