Black furniture?

Hi! This is my first forum post, I'm really sorry if I post it wrong!

:help: I was playing The Sims 2 like I normally do, and putted out furniture, like bathtubes and beds, Then suddenly the beds turn black and bathtubes turn black? (Doors also turned black, but in some rooms were normal) The beds and tubes have been working since I downloaded them (a few years ago..) And the original beds (From Maxi) works just fine, but the ones I downloaded that are lower (lower then the maxi original mesh) turn completely black and when a sim lay themself in it they turn black to, then when they wake up the sim's turn normal colour? Same with bathtubes.. Ive try to search the internet and modthesims's forums but no luck :/

Anyone know how I can get them to work again? :!:

We don't support custom content. You'll have to ask the creator.

Oh okay.. But it doesnt seem like it is the creators fault? It just stopped worked in THIS house (Maxi's own apartment) while working in any other type of house...?

If the problem occurs with maxis-made objects, then we might be able to help you, but there's nothing much that we can do about custom objects that don't work.

Did you do the Game_Help:Game_Problem FAQ? I assume that the problem disappeared as soon as you removed your CC?

I don't know if it's the same problem I had some weeks ago, yours seems to bee a lot worse as many things turned black. I was playing a family and had zoomed out so I did see the front of the house. The day turned to night but in the morning there was a black spot on the ground just there a tree had it's shadow. I went in to baymode and alter between night and day a few times. After that the lot was normal and the problem had not acurred again. Not on that lot and not on any other lot. I still not know what it was but it's gone now. Hope you get the problem fixed. (Yes, I had some custom contant on the lot but I have CC on almost all my lots, most of them works whitout problems).
