Hey all, I'm trying to add a maternity morph to the Ambitions registration incentive hospital gown (which it should have anyway :| ), but I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to open sims3packs using CTU... any suggestions?

Can't you convert the sim3package to package or use TSRW to extract it?

Clone the original Ambitions file with s3OC without renumbering, that way it will replace the original.
Open that file with s3PE or Postal, extract the meshes(GEOMs)
Then follow this tutorial: http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=380954
Just make sure you use the original instance numbers from the Bgeo files.
The replacement only needs updated Bgeo files so it is save to delete everything else in the package.
If you want to use TSRW, then clone the Ambitions file and convert it to package with Delphy's multiinstaller.
Follow the tutorial
When done delete everything but the Bgeo files and renumber those as the originals that came with Ambitions.
Edit,
Oops, i forgot the updated CASp(explained in the tutorial i think)
You need to keep it in the packages too. :)
Keep in mind you have to renumber it also back to the original when using TSRW to clone the file.

Will this work with copy protected files? The outfit I want to modify is technically store content. I don't plan to upload it anywhere but I would like it for a story I am writing.
In other words, how do I access files with a DBPP tag?

You need to visit MATY to get s3RC first then ;)

We do have a sims3pack unpacker now, too. http://dino.drealm.info/den/denforum/index.php?topic=198.0

But does that one work for Store items?

No, but at some stage the unpacking is still required so I wanted to make the poster aware of the alternatives.
