View Full Version : Normals on mesh are screwed up?

I restarted on making my alpha mesh. I have decided to make alpha sleeves. I cloned them from the arms. Just in case you want to know, I've been following cat's tutorial (http://stonegod.org/sims2/tutorial/alpha%20skirt%20tutorial/index.html) http://i52.tinypic.com/28sy3ph.jpg :faceslap:
As you can probably see, I screwed up. There are these dark spots.Yeah, I have made an inside. I had smoothed all, reversed vertex order on the inside layer, and aligned normals for each group separately. I've tried everything I could think of, and I have also tried everything I could find. What should I do? :wtf: :alarm:

They dont look bad to me, those dark spots are dents and alligned correctly i think.

Tip,
Always keep the inner and outer meshlayer seperate from eachother but name them the same.(do not regroup them into one!)
You then can edit the opacity value for both layers seperatly so you do not have those bleeding through issues'ingame.(like opacity 3 for the inside and 5 for the outside)
Since both are named identical they will share the same texure assigned to it/them.

Edit: Sorry for taking so long to respond back, the spots show and look worse in game. What do I do about this? Also, is there a way to make an inside without using smooth all?
