I have a new medieval world I would like to submit. I read through your guidelines, but they are very confusing. I read the requirements and I think I comply to all that with my presentation, but I don't understand the process of submission. Where do you upload? Is there a format you can follow? Do you have an example and what are the steps required? I have included a presentation pic to let you see the theme of the world. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Judy

How you upload is up to you. For simple worlds or terrains with no lots, you can often use the Upload Wizard, as you would normally. However, if you have included lots or sims, or you want to include a load of pics (more than 12), then you may prefer to upload via the Creator Issues forum so you can spread your upload out over the main post and the first few comments; there are instructions, and an example, for doing that under the "Full maps" heading at the bottom of the world Creator Guidelines. :)
We don't have a specific format or template, as long as all the required info is there. If you want an example to give you an idea of what's acceptable, I suggest flicking through the various uploads in the Worlds section - they've all been approved, after all. :)

Would it be better to just post my link and world information in a forum and if so, which one would be best? I have about eight pictures.

A normal download thread can accept 8 pictures, so you should be fine as long as you have all required pictures. You would want to create a special multi-post upload if you were documenting every lot, or had a lot more pictures. If so, then you need to post in the special private Creator Issues forum, which you will find under the Create menu.
Please read the Creator Guidelines under the Create menu. That should answer all of your questions.

Uploads can have up to 12 images attached to them. And that's what the Upload Wizard does - it creates a thread in whichever Downloads forum is appropriate, with the various info, pics, files and so on included.

Can someone please give me a step by step info on how and where to upload my world information? I have read all the guidelines, but I am so confused when I get in the Creaters Issues forum to post the info. The world file is 64 MB, which I would imagine would be way too large to upload in the Creaters Forum. Do I just put a link to the wold file? This is a finished world with all furnished lots. I understand all the guidelines as far as what info you want on the world, but the rest of how to submit and where is a mystery.

In the creator issues forum, make a thread. The first post will eventually be the main download post, so put the main world info there; and any posts following that will show up as comments once the world is actually in the queue or approved, and can be used for extra pics, or for info about lots.
64Meg is indeed too big to be uploaded at once. :) There are instructions on splitting it down into smaller files in the Creator Guidelines.

What I would strongly suggest, as the guidelines do too, is that you should upload a single lot first, or something else, to get familiar with the uploading process.
It also helps with uploading a world, cause as you have read in the guidelines, every lot of the world must be up to the guidelines, all though you only need to post 5 residential and 5 community ones.

How can you break down one world file? I don't understand. :)

Did you read the instructions? Which bit did you get stuck on? :)

I think I figured it out. I wrote down how to do it, so when I get time, I will try it. Thanks. I will try to post my world soon and go from there.
