Hi!

SimmyRN and I got this message today from leesester

Hello,

We are trying to find a way to get you two creator status which will not involve Delphy having to rewrite the downloads system :)

We think it may work if you each make a "dummy upload" which we will then hide from view.

Please can you each make a post in CI (Titled Creator Status Upload) and then we will try and see if we can fool the system into thinking it is a download.

Please make a simple txt file (using Notepad) called Creator Status and rar that and attach it to the post. I cannot guarantee this will work, but we have not tried it yet.

Lee

I uploaded the thread and now I got his message:
Dear VampireSim,

One of your uploads to MTS2 has been tagged for removal due to it not conforming with the rules for submission. Please see the Site News article (http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=143227) and the Creator Guidelines forum (http://www.modthesims.info/forumdisplay.php?f=338) for information about the quality control here on MTS2.

To see which threads are tagged you can go to your profile (available here (http://www.modthesims.info/member.php?u=2070843)) and look for all downloads with the yellow triangle exclamation marks.

Uploads not updated to conform with quality control and notified to staff in this thread (http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=143231) will be removed 2 weeks after they are tagged.

Thank you,
MTS2 Staff.

I have no idea, what to do. I see the tagged thread, but .... I'm baffled
But at the same time I'm happy when I looked into my profile. :)
It seems if the tagged thread should be invisible but isn't?

Edit: oh, cool, someone is working at this moment at this problem!!!! Thanks!!!! :lovestruc

VampireSim - we have fixed it :)

We now need to do the same for a dummy upload from simmy. :)

Ignore that tagged message - its a function we used to hide the upload.

/me hugs VampireSim

You deserve it - all that work from you and SimmyRN and you don't get to see the uploads on your profiles? That's just WRONG.

I did the dummy upload thingy this evening. Hopefully, correctly. Thanks again to all for setting this up! Not much time to work on anything today as I travelled to a conference. I should have all evening free tomorrow, though. Even brought my laptop and files. (Of course, Sims 3 is loaded on both my computers. ) RL interfering again ... grumble, grumble, grumble ...

No problem Simmy - I was thinking that if the pictures are any good on the fixed uploads posts we can get some uploads together out of those maybe? To make it a bit easier?

Yes, I saved them into my "Kingdom of Pudding Pictures" file so that all we'll need to add is an overall "scene" shot or two, perhaps. I think they'll be great shots for individual items. I've been working on setting up kitchen, loom, floor torch, and campfire shots at Crumplebottom castle.
