I am trying to recolor the furniture from this bedroom set (Gera Bedroom Set)
http://www.thesimsresource.com/arti...0Set/id/829544/

I am only able to recolor two of the fruniture items using SimPE because the other files do not have a texture file :faceslap: ...If anyone can tell me how to recolor the items in the collection without a texture file it would really help. Thanx!!....

Your link does not work.
Ayway, if the files do not have textures, it is most likely that the items are 'slaved' i.e. they pull the texture from sme other item. In that case you do not need to recolour them.
(Most creators, however, mention if this is the case. At respectable sites, at least.)
If the objects are glass-like, it is also possible that they do not have a texture but their colour is defined in the TXMT.

You said you could recolour two of the items. Well, recolour them and check the other items in the game. If they are indeed slaved, the recolours should show up for them as well, no need to do anything else.
Giving a working link to the download page would be helpful.

there is the link again hopefully it works....

I was only able to recolor one of the dressers and the armoire...i recoloured them using gimp. Im not able to do it fr the rest of the furniture. They are not showing up. I only know how to recolor using texture files and copying and pasting in Paint or Gimp. I tried using the "respiratory" method but still no luck. :faceslap:

Oh. that link helped.
The set is indeed repository. All items where you see the 'show requirements' note indicate that you need the double bed for the textures. So, recolour the double bed and you will have matching colour options for these items without any additional work.
The dresser and the armoire are not marked as such and they can indeed be recoloured separately.
