Sims 2 CAS won't allow me to use saved Elder Male Sims and Body Shop freezes

I recently tried installing some sims. Installation went fine as far as I could tell. I deleted some of the unwanted CC that came with them(or at least I thought I did). But when I opened CAS they weren't there at all! So I decided to try deleting them in body shop, but once I deleted sims to a certain point the sims stopped loading and became empty slots where a sim should show up. Then I tried restoring them. Same issues. So I tried using using Clean installer to delete them. Same issue.. Is the only fix going to be reinstalling?

*Yes, I checked all the things about what to do if it crashed, which is why I tried those. I also google it but with no relevant results.

I'm not sure which FAQ you were following, but try this:

In your case, you'll want to remove your SavedSims folder as well as your Downloads folder, and you'll probably want to use the 50% method on your SavedSims folder.

I tried a second time and it fixed it. Thanks. I was panicking a little when I posted so that's why it's sorta all over the place.
