I am currently in the process of trying to create a Sims 3 Machinima - I have everything planned out and all, I just need to build the characters and places and what not.
The only problem I'm having are the graphics. I want to be able to record in HD quality and FRAPS gives me that but it makes my game lag so much. I have the settings on low/medium because even though my laptop can handle high, it's so slow. Well, my laptop isn't a gaming laptop as the score is 3.2 or something like that. I'm surprised that it hasn't even crashed yet. I am currently saving up for an Asus desktop tower (I have a Toshiba Satellite C655 S5132) so that I can play the Sims 3 with better quality and what not but until then, I won't really have much options. So, please, I ask you, please do not say "get a better computer". I get it.
Okay, although I noticed that FRAPS was lagging so much, the quality was great but there were still graphics that were a bit stuttery or pixely around the edges.
Below, is a video that I just randomly recorded. Hopefully, you'll get a better understanding.

Now that you've seen the video, do think that quality is fine? Should I just look into another program like Bandicam?
