Ye Olde Kingdom of Pudding - Medieval Kids Furniture Part 1
High Chairs and Potty Chair

Greetings, good gentles/ladies. We are The Merrye Makers - a group of eleven creators spanning all disciplines (clothing, lots, objects, etc.) offering for thy downloading pleasure a collection of medieval things most beauteous from Ye Olde Kingdom of Pudding -- otherwise known as "Simdom Pudding".

Children
Ye Olde Kingdom of Pudding was primarily an agrarian society, and it was the family unit that made the agrarian economy work. Nothing was more valuable to family-oriented Simdom Pudding peasant families than sons to help with the plowing and daughters to help with the household. Children were, essentially, the primary reason to marry. In towns and cities, children would grow to become the laborers and apprentices that made a craft business grow. Among the nobility, children would perpetuate the family name and increase the ambitious family's holdings through advancement in service to their liege lords and through advantageous marriages. Some of these unions were planned while the bride- and groom-to-be were still in the cradle. The nursery was no place for those who disliked children, but childish Ye Olde Kingdom of Pudding parents loved playing with toys from nursery toy boxes.

Artistic Simdom Pudding craftsmen carved ornate designs on the borders of wooden kids furniture for anticipated bundles of joy. Many furniture pieces had garish structural layouts and colors that were basically gray, beige or black.

Great, thanks! I might reshoot the noble high chair picture with the toddler in it. And, I'll edit the table for the potty chair. Then, the kids furniture will be ready to go. I'm guessing we'll submit the infant blanket default replacements as a mod? VampireSim did a mapping shot for the blanket that we can use, if necessary. But, since the blankets are not CASTable, we won't need that will we? (At least, I couldn't CAST it in my game. I think VampireSim used a mod.) SimmyRN

I think its a mod and override, we can use vampiresims pic and say in the post that it is castable with Mod X installed.

Whoops! I never noticed, that it wasn't castable. I don't know, why I could do it??!! Maybe I used an older version? I'll check it.

Do you have a download link?

Here's the link: http://www.modthesims.info/showpost.php?p=3480246&postcount=34. Do you have Twallen's (sp.?) Master Controller installed, VampireSim? That's what she said you could use to CAST it.

Yes, I have Twallans Master Controller. Can't live without it. :)

Ah, that explains it. As Leesester said, we'll just make a note that it can be CASTed using Twallans Master Controller Mod. Next question: Daluved1 posted two rars - one with different colors for males and females; one with white for both genders. I think it would be nice to offer both options but we'd have to be sure to specify one or the other, not both. I've seen that stipulation on many other uploads, though, so it shouldn't be a problem. What do you all think? SimmyRN

Would be nice to have the choice. I would offer the different colors too.

I agree with VampireSim - it is nice to have both options. It is possible when uploading an attachment to give an attachment a description which shows under the file link in addition to the directions in the post.

Gosh, sorry, but I have no idea what your last sentence means! Translate, please. SimmyRN

Hard to explain more really - I will edit your post above with an attachment then you will see it :)

When in edit post you will see in attachments that I have added a description that is under the name of the rar file. It works just the same on upload posts.

Oh, yes, I've seen that box under the rars when preparing uploads. I've just never used it because our rars' names are so self explanatory. Thanks for the clarification! SimmyRN

Yes, I use it on uploads where there are multiple files and some are using the same guid, or are default vs default. So I say in the post do not dl both - I make it clear in the rar names - I add a description - I still get downloaders asking for help........ :|

I see what you mean. Look at the downloaders not understanding the difference between a noble crib, a large crib, and a small crib.... What can you do other than make it as clear as possible. I'm starting a new thread for the infant blankets. SimmyRN
