I am creating a world and am doing some prelim testing and when I try and move families in the game actually says "oh no it looks like all the lots in this town are too expensive" Anyone run into this before?

Are the lots built upon or empty lots? And did you put a figure in here:

Where it says additional value?

Some are empty lots some have community lots some have buildings. I did NOT put a value in the property browser. I just laid down the lots and put the buildings in from EID buy mode or from residential or community lot library.

This is being play tested on an exported version of the world, I did not populate the world before I exported it, I wanted to test the lot functionality first. I was not play testing by returning to the game in EID.

Okay, if you go to edit town mode, what do the lot values actually say? Are they all over 16K?

Are you talking about in game or using EIG. I am running this in game as a world (not completed world -no landscaping) but in game not CAW EIG some of them are over 16k but even the ones that are $200 not 200k wont let me put someone there. (this was a 10x10 lot with a value of $200 after place as an empty lot.

Yes, I was talking about in-game. :)

What is the lot zoning of those lots? Did you choose 'residential>ownable lot' by any chance?

Perhaps you could show a screenshot of one of the lot properties in CAW.

Not sure how to do screen shots or images here. I will see what I can do.

Just upload it to an image host- such as Photobucket or imageshack- and then post me the link. :)
