Cornelia died...Sims 3

I'm new at this and I dont know if this is the right place to post this, but can anyone please help? I was freeplaying with aging on in one of my characters and noticed that Cornelia Goth disappeared some time while i was playing. Does anyone know any way that I can get her back? I havn't found a tombstone anywhere and I've searched inventories.
