Common bugs & (possible) solutions

The ones I had so far and also read about in other threads. Using 1.31.

- can't see what's going on on the stage
I saved the venue, deleted and then replaced it. Worked for me, so far no new problems.
I read somewhere that resetting the stage should help; did not work for me.

- can't make an audition appointment because the proprietor is always busy (or something)
I simply killed the proprietor. The game immediately generated a new one who was very much willing to listen. I tried other things but only the mob rule worked.

- can see but can't hear the singer on stage
Nothing I tried so far worked.

None of the above solutions are very elegant - there must be better ones.

Try that first - every step, in order, and don't skip anything! Even if it doesn't say your specific problem, try it anyway, as it's a good starting point to rule out the most common causes of game issues.
