Hi I'm Padriac and I've been familiar with modthesims for awhile. I never really got involved in the community though. I perused content and whatnot but I feel it might be my time to contribute in some way. The main reason I decided to post and introduce myself to the community is because I've recently gotten back into the game and have started to actually make something that I feel might actually end up good and I want to share it.
I started playing Sims during Sims 2 and I got Sims 3 right when it came out but after awhile stopped playing until I recently picked it up (with even more interest in it than before). Other than Sims I do enjoy other games, however I haven't had as much time for them since I began college last year (now a sophomore BTMM Major at Temple). The kind of games I like vary from survival horror (Silent Hill 2 and Fatal Frame 4) to adventure (Jak & Daxter, Ratchet & Clank) to classics (Zelda, Mario) with some niche games like No More Heroes thrown in as well. As for stuff like TV, I like satirical cartoons quite a bit like South Park, and I believe I am slowly being turned into a Brony (due to my roommate's interest in MLP the show's really starting to grow on me). I'm not really into anime or reality tv shows or other genres (However I do watch things other than comedy of course). Back on the topic of school I am a BTMM (basically media studies) Major at Temple University. I want to eventually become involved in the media area in the gaming industry. On the side I'm minoring in Japanese and will be studying abroad in Tokyo for my next fall semester.
But uh, yeah I guess that's my introduction, more stuff can be learned by chatting, etc. I hope to be able to contribute to the community that has already given me quite a lot.
