The girl was in a bad relationship with a guy who didn't treat her right; one argument even lead to violence. Her partner left her in the night, without a letter or anything. So a year later, the girl hears a lot about a new pop star who is currently on tour in Starlight Shores; so she goes to see him; but she's shocked to discover that the songs he sings about; the lyrics to the songs, describe exactly what her life has been like; exactly what the relationship was. Towards the end of the video; we see that because the pop star seemed to "know her so well", she has become obsessed with him.
