That's a problem with the CC dress. You can try fixing it yourself through Bodyshop (and you could have a go at those socks at the same time...), or you can ask the creator to fix it.

Moved to Sims 2 Help, since your computer isn't broken.

I would ask the creator but he/she has been inactive for quite some time :(... as for doing it myself... I might try to do it but idk if I can. Is it hard to make/modify custom content?

How much patience do you have?
How much skill with an image editor do you have?
Have you ever used Body Shop to make a sim?
(And if you need to work with a mesh, how much skill do you have in using a 3d modelling program?)

The good news is that if you are working through Bodyshop, you don't need to worry about the mesh, you are just trying to discover which piece of the 2d image is sitting in which spot on the 3d mesh that you already have.

If you have the patience and skills to edit the image, save it, refresh the bodyshop image, discover that you haven't got it right, edit the image some more, send it back to bodyshop, discover it's STILL wrong, rinse and repeat a few dozen (or possibly hundred) times until it's finally right, then bodyshop clothing isn't terribly hard. (Ok I'm exaggerating with the few hundred repeats... it just seems that way.)

If you get lost in an image editor, or if you lose patience if things aren't right by the third try, it's brutally difficult.

But good for your character. And you'll figure out exactly how much you want a particular thing.

Thanks for the help... but I have moved on to a bigger project :3

EDIT: as for the shadow issue I fixed it (more or less) by exporting the outfit and editing it a little bit (under her skirt) in photoshop.
