After reading asylum fun here, I set down my own asylum in Pleasantview. Up popped a notice that ACR had been installed in Pleasantview. When I started playing the asylum, I found it was not much fun, because the inmates were simply not jealous of each other. They just queued up to use the double bed, which must have been running hot while my playable sim was at work. I went looking for the ACR controller, to restore jealousy in the neighborhood, but could not find it anywhere in Buy mode or Build mode.
I went back to my main neighborhood, Salinas, to the university where I remembered setting down a copy of the ACR controller. The model was shaped like a stack of telephone books, which was confusing, because so was the college adjuster. I clicked on the controller, and changed the model to a potted plant. I noticed the controller was called an 'accessory', so I searched under Glasses, without success. I set neighborhood Jealousy to Maxis normal - 4. Then I went back to Pleasantview, searching for a controller, everywhere possible. Where on earth can it have gone? Could it have found its way into an accessory cache long since deleted? Has anyone else had this problem?
