Hello! I'll be starting a legacy soon (If you want to vote on the poll for the founders name go to http://everettlegacy.wordpress.com) and I really only want to play the legacy family in the nieghborhood. But I don't want the other neighbors to be, like, immortal. Is there any cheat with testingcheats that lets them age up faster? Like, to set it to their birthday or something like that. Does it have any bugs or problems?

I do know of a mod (http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php?topic=4842.0) that will allow you to click on other sims and age them up. If they're teens and you're in college, they can become students, and you can then graduate them from any year, have them drop out or have them expelled. It will also kill elders. Of course, there are some sims (Crumplebottom spring to mind) who MUST NOT BE MESSED WITH, but other than that, it sounds like the sort of thing you want. There are a few different versions, and several bits needed, so read it all carefully - first time I used it, I forgot to download the controller so although the option was there on the pie menu, nothing happened. XD

Is this just for townies? I should have been more clear on what I was asking.

I want to be able to go into familys that live in the hood, and use a cheat or mod to set it to their birthday or age them up. If that mod is just for townies I don't really need it, because I have freetime.

If you want to age up the playables you could load up their house and age them up using the simblender, or a hacked birthday cake, or I guess Boolprop.(don't know-don't use it) Or instead make a backup, open simpe and age the entire town up a number of days.

I haven't tried using it on playables, but the option was there when I clicked on any other sim. Plus with townies, it means you can age up as many as you want, whenever you want instead of just when your playables have a birthday. But the SimBlender is also good for aging up.

There is a cheat you can use ctrl+shift+c then type in (agesimscheat on), exactly what is in the brackets, and press enter. Then click on your sim and there is an option to 'set age'.

I have used it a few times, mostly ok except on one sim I aged up to elder, it crashed the game. But I re-loaded it, made him do something else first, then did it again and it worked fine. I don't know if it's just my game though, as it crashes when I try to buy male elder clothes aswell, or sometimes if I make an elder male in CAS.

Update-it was some cc that caused the crash, I found out today, so the cheat is safe in my opinion.

Thank you everybody! I think I will use SimBlender as I'm not totally comfortable with SimPE.
