Game repeatedly pausing/freezing

I have WA, AB, HEL, and LN on my computer, and lately my game has been pausing randomly. I only have a few mods, for the Visa levels, break time for after a vacation shortened, and a few others. I ran th game without mods and the problem persisted.
I googled the issue and used the decrapify, and nothing changed I'm currently making a new game to see if it will have the problem or not.
I don't know how to call up specs on my computer, so I don't have them.
I don't want to lose my game, I spent so much time on it!!

Sims 3 - Freezes and Lags
If you encounter any freezes or lags in gameplay, try the suggestions in Game Help:Intermittent Freezes.

That's how to check your system specs. :) All the stuff in the freezes and lags info is important, but very important are use of Overwatch and not using Bridgeport (unless you've downloaded the Bridgeport fix).

Where's the Bridgeport fix, that's the town my first game is in. My second game is fine T.T

The freezes page links to Game Help:World Routing Lags, which explains how to apply the fixes - choose either option 2 or 3.

Also, if you're very attached to your game, you should make regular backups, so that you don't need to worry about losing it.
